Koro Tass |

Koro turns back and says, "Fine. Wait until I've fetched Trevan."
She stalks across the ruined area, finally seeing Trevan speaking to a Twi'lek.
She walks up , ignoring the newcomer for now, "Trevan, our transport is here. Come now or be left behind." she says bluntly

Kordin III |

Kordin jumps excitedly into the front seat, although the armor does a good job at concealing it. Turning her head to the soldier she starts chitchatting.
"Hey there, uh I didn't get your name. But how's it going?"

GM Phntm888 |

"In such a hurry, apprentice? What could possibly be more important than an attack on the Citadel?" the Twi'lek asks Koro, his voice mockingly inquisitive. He looks between the two apprentices, awaiting a response.
"Corporal Kal-Den Rayes, 3rd Infantry Division. Um...wouldn't you be more comfortable in the back? It's better armored."
He seems surprised and confused that you've jumped up front.

Kordin III |

The Mandalorian woman cocks her head a bit at the mentioning of better armored. She pounds a fist against the window, although not nearly enough to break it.
"And miss all the action? This seems right to me. Plus who's going to keep you safe if things go south? Don't worry soldier, I've got your back."

Trevan Darksome |

As I attempted to do so, Lord, I am sorry, I did not catch your name..." states Trevan.
He then turns back to Koro, "This Twi'lek, approached me. Stating that the Dark Council has not authorized us to investigate this matter..."

Iliquoi |

I am confused as to where I am, I am with the other apprentices correct?

Koro Tass |

The miraluka will enter..... I assumed this meant you entered the speeder
Koro inclines her head to Lord Tor'aven, "M'Lord. We act on the will of our Master, Lord Kyrak. If you wish to learn more of his intent for us, I suggest you take it up with him. I believe he is visiting the Dark Council as we speak." she says with utmost politeness and respect.
She turns to Trevan, "We must respect the will of the Dark Council, Brother. As I said, our speeder awaits."
Knowledge-Sith Lore: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Koro will try to remember who this Lord Tor'aven is...

Trevan Darksome |

Iliquoi, as the rest of you waited outside, I stepped into the building to inspect the point of attack when I encountered the Twi'lek. Koro went in to retrieve me now that the speeder has arrived.

Iliquoi |

Trying to make sense of everything since we are moving slowly again...

GM Phntm888 |

"Whatever you say, sir...um...ma'am."
Turning back to the instruments, the trooper busies himself with running a quick diagnostic.
Lord Tor'aven appears to consider Trevan's request for a moment, then says, "No, I shall handle this myself. Your fellow apprentice is anxious to do something, and I would be unsurprised if it were dangerous. Now, be off with you. I will speak to Lord Kyrak about you both later."
Lord Tor'aven is rare in that he is a Twi'lek who managed to attain not only the rank of Sith Lord, but a position of some small influence. He conducts all internal investigations within the Citadel - except for within the Mandalorian Enclave.

Trevan Darksome |

Trevan steps through the portal and onto the transport a look of contemplation on his face.

Koro Tass |

Koro regards the Sith Lord contemplatively, then bows, quite deeper than before, "An honor to meet you , M'Lord. I won't keep you from your duties."
With that , Koro turns with a flourish of dark robes and follows Trevan to the waiting speeder.
Once inside, she signals the pilot to take off, "Where's your engineer, Kordin? Back at the estate?" she asks the mercenary.
Then turning to Trevan, "Lord Tor'aven conducts all internal investigations in the Citadel, you're lucky he didn't cut you down for your impertinence." she says with a wicked smile.

Trevan Darksome |

Trevan nods to Koro Tass, "Indeed, in this you are correct Koro Tass. I am disturbed by the fact that he did not want us there while performing his inspection, has he something to hide?"

Kordin III |

Kordin sits impatiently in the front seat excitedly. When asked a question she turns around to answer.
"Well duh, she will be ready when we get there. I've been in contact with her already, so we pick her up, have her work her magic on the case, and catch those sons of #######."
Her speaker crackled when she was clearly going to curse.
"Wait a minute. This thing has a built in censor? Mother ######!"

Taking off, the speeder swoops across Kaas City, flying with haste towards Lord Kyrak's estate. Other traffic gets out of the way, recognizing the military style. In much quicker time, the speeder arrives at Lord Kyrak's estate. Kolans is waiting and hops in immediately, asking, "Where are we going, and what do you need me to do?"

Kordin III |

Kordin slides the briefcase towards the Twi'lek.
"That's what we have to find out. Our intelligence friend got a tracker on the guys responsible for the attack on the citadel. He's on medical for a bit. If we can track these guys down we should get a nice pay day."

Koro Tass |

Koro looks over Kolana's shoulder at the blinking indicator, tapping her chin as she tries to recollect that part of Dromund Kaas geography, unconsiously tapping into the Force for assistance...

"Hmmmm, yes. It's an abandoned estate. Belonged to a Sith lord who thought to challenge the Emperor...his life was forfeit for his disloyalty. Darth Harok, I think was his name. " Koro says, "We should make our approach from this direction, " She says, pointing at the tracker, "This ridge should conceal our arrival. "

GM Phntm888 |

The trooper piloting the speeder looks at the map, then links it to the nav display. "Understood, my lord. I'll have us there as quickly as possible."
The speeder takes off, flying towards the estate. As you travel, beneath you are the jungles of Dromund Kaas. You spy a gundark engaged in battle with a pack of vine cats, the gundark clearly getting the better of the fight. Darkness begins to fall
As the trooper comes around to the ridge, he kills the external lights, activating a night vision mode for the final approach.

Trevan Darksome |

"Excellent work Koro Tass let us hope they have retreated here so that we may end this insurgency this night".

Iliquoi |

The miraluka will follow Kordin lightsaber in hand, though not ignited.

Trevan Darksome |

Trevan will also disembark and reach out to the compound using the Force to ascertain whether any who dwell there utilize the Force whether light or dark.

"You got it, boss. If you can broadcast their computer signal towards me, I might be able to give you details about what they're planning," Kolana says. The soldier merely salutes as you head out through the jungle.
The thick jungle brush carries with it the sounds of life on Dromund Kaas. As you forge ahead, you come across the path of one of the planet's larger denizens. Fortunately, it appears to be long gone, seeking food elsewhere.
As you approach the edge of the jungle, you see the exterior wall of the estate. There is a cleared area of approximately 100 meters around it. It is open, and there appears to be little cover. The wall is 10 meters high.
You spy a guard standing on the wall, looking out towards the jungle.
You notice what looks like some vines crawling up the wall a bit to your left. You might be able to use those to climb up.
You spy the head of another guard, sitting next to the wall.
The guard facing the jungle is only half paying attention. He doesn't seem concerned about a threat from your direction.
Everyone, Stealth check with a +10 bonus for cover from the jungle.

Trava nods to Koro Tass and heads where she directs him to go towards the vines.
DM, did my sense force check reveal any Dark or Light Side users at the compound?

Trevan, my reading of the Sense Force aspect is that it tells you how many Force users are within range (100 km). It does not let you determine light side or dark side.
Reaching out with the Force, you sense many Force users on Dromund Kaas - including two within the villa.
The guard looking out at the jungle doesn't appear to notice you creeping over to the ivy. Up close, you can see it's unusually thick, and has tiny red streaks going through the leaves.

Koro Tass |

Koro gets close to the wall, then stops, holding her hand up. She peers at the vine's leaves, frowning. Silently, she points at the red streaks, then looks to the others questioningly...

GM Phntm888 |

The Dark Side energies infusing Dromund Kaas have had some strange effects on the flora and fauna of the world. In this case, it seems to have strengthened these vines such that they appear sturdy enough to hold a human-sized creature's weight - however, they are likely going to be able to break down this wall much quicker than standard ivy would. It would make standing structures much more difficult out from the cities.

Trevan Darksome |

"We must be wary, we shall face foes who have talents like our own", Trevan whispers to Koro and Iliquoi.

Kordin III |

Through comm links, Kordin speaks.
"The vines are strong here, and this fortress will be reclaimed by nature within a few years. We can climb this. Or I may have another idea. But it would lose any chance we would have of stealth."
