Trevan Darksome |
"Iliquoi, a Miraluka apprentice is with us as are two mercenaries. In addition, several troopers have taken the trip with us. For now, if there is room for them all it would be best. We do not want anyone wandering and speaking about our dealings.
Arrangements would be quite helpful".
Iliquoi |
Coming down the ramp the miraluka will inquire with intelligence if they can arrange for his captive to be watched but treated well. If possible he would like to meet with someone in that department.
GM Phntm888 |
"I presume you to be the apprentice Iliquoi. Welcome to Lord Kyrak's personal villa. I am Hessin, seneschal. We have sufficient prison facilities to take care of your captive here."
Looking at Trevan, he says, "There is sufficient space for all. I'll quarter the troopers in the guard barracks. The others shall have suitable guest rooms. Should your ship require repairs, we have mechanics to take care of it. I will make the arrangements with Imperial Intelligence. When you are all ready, I shall show you to your quarters."
Iliquoi |
Nodding to the seneschal the miraluka will respond [b] I take it you are to see to our needs? [b] her inquires.
Iliquoi |
My Mistress is the Dark Lord of the Sith, Saloena of the Sith Empire. he replies.
Koro Tass |
Koro nods a polite acknowledgement of the senescal's greeting, "You have our thanks, Hessin, we all seek to serve the Master in our own way."
She turns and stalks up the gangplank into the ship.
Finding Korbin and Venaris in conversation, she interrupts , "There is lodging for us here at my Master's estate. Your ship will be repaired by the mechanics, merely tell them what needs to be done. We must wait for my Master's Intelligence liason to arrive. Then we can hand over the cargo and you will be paid for your services. Then.... I am sure my Master will have new tasks for us."
With a nod, she departs in a swirl of dark robes.
Kordin III |
Kordin sighs at the thought of being kept like some kind of pet, but free repairs were okay.
"Hey Ven, I need about five thousand of that 10k. I have some shopping to do. You probably won't be allowed near where I'm headed, family thing, you know how it is."
Trevan Darksome |
"Seneschal Hessin, does the Master keep a sparring chambers with Droids on hand? I wish to get my exercise in before the liason arrives".
Iliquoi |
When possible, I will require a communication link with Darth Saloena states the miraluka.
GM Phntm888 |
"If you will all follow me, I will give you the tour of the villa."
Following Hessin, you enter into a villa that seems to shout "warrior." Battle trophies and banners adorn the walls, Imterspersed by the Imperial sigil. The walls are a dark metal, and the lighting harshly bright in contrast. In the training wing you find a meditation chamber, public library, and sparring chamber, complete with combat droids. He shows you where each of your rooms is, as well as a lounge and fining area, before taking his leave to contact Imperial Intelligence. His droid takes Iliquoi to a communications room, and steps outside to allow for privacy.
Iliquoi |
The miraluka will attempt to contact his MAster, kneeling before the hologram.
Trevan Darksome |
Trevan heads to the sparring chamber to work his considerable aggression out on the sparring Droids.
Iliquoi |
Kordin III |
Checking the time, Kordin see's that it's somewhat late. So instead of going shopping she heads toward the dining area, orders a quick meal and steps behind the bar looking for something to pique her interest.
She settles on a strong, but slightly sweet drink with the spirits available (Think an old fashioned). Settling into a chair for her meal she looks at the credstick.
"I think I'll get acclimated to this planets time first. Might need some medicine for it, but this will help."
She raises the glass towards Ven.
"I'm thinking new armor, but I know I have to save up for the really nice stuff. Maybe some of that crusader armor that always looks so intimidating."
Iliquoi |
Trevan Darksome |
As his training session comes to and end, dripping sweat, Trevan takes a meal in the dining area.
He notices the two mercenaries and heads to their table.
"Mercenaries. It seems thus far, you have done well in the service of my Master and the Sith Empire. What are your plans now that your most recent obligations have been met?"
Koro Tass |
Resigned to the wait for the Intellgence lacky to arrive, Toro takes the opportunity to mediate on recent events , then spends some time burning nervous energy in the training area.
There she begins to toy with the idea of utilizing two weapons at the same time, grabbing a practice sword from the wall and with her lightsabre, trying to figure out the forms and movements necessary to achieve a potent multi attack.
Kordin III |
Kordin gives Trevan a quizzical look as he mentions them serving the Sith.
"Look pal, I know you have this long view of the Sith and the Empire. I get it, you take pride in your work and the work of your peers. Every major planet has that, Mandalore is no different, but we don't serve your master. I go as far as the money goes. Your master had a job, he also had credits. Your master can lie, credits don't. As for our predicament, well I guess we have to wait for Intelligence to show up. Our plans are to collect our thirty thousand, then see if any jobs turn up. Although I am not chasing pets anymore."
GM Phntm888 |
Whoops. Totally forgot to hit that.
"Of course they do not understand the true nature of the Dark Side. They are trained by inferiors.
I am pleased with your growth. Continue with your experiments on the Republic soldier, and stay close to Lord Kyrak's apprentices. There is something stirring in the Force, and they may provide the necessary insight."
Trevan Darksome |
Trevan smiles at the Bounty Hunter, "The Force guides the actions of all living beings even you and your friend here.
For you both, involvement with my Master has granted you a great bounty. A ship which the Sith could simply have confiscated. Instead, it would appear that you and your friend have inherited it, most likely at a value of at least 30,000 credits.
It was the will of the Force that has brought you here. I have no doubt that more credits will come your way and continue this arrangement we have.
Perhaps you shall find purpose within the Sith Empire instead of running from job to job. After all, there is no retirement sector for old Bounty Hunters only death awaits those who choose that life.
There are those who stand with and those who stand against the Sith - no room for others is there".
Iliquoi |
After his meeting with his MAster the miraluka will perform a far seeing on the soldier. 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30 utf
Iliquoi |
GM how do you interpret the 4th usage of mind trick to improve a person's feelings towards the person using the teixk?
Venaris Cole |
Acknowledging the gesture with one of his own, Venaris takes a sip from his own drink as well. "I think I can afford to have some... adjustments made to my gloves," he says after some thought, "although it will mean going out and looking for someone with the skill to do so. But it should still leave me some credits for other things."
"Speaking of other things, is our late associate's ship ours now? Because if it is, it could do with some repairs and general sprucing up methinks."

There are those who stand with and those who stand against the Sith - no room for others is there".
Before Venaris starts considering what "sprucing up" would entail though, one of the Sith joins them, apparently answering his question about the ship. "Waaait a second. Do you mean that our thirty thousand credits have just magically transformed into a dead guy's ship? Because, fun in parties though that sounds, I do recall the arrangement being about cash when we took the popsicle job."
Kordin III |
Kordin almost drops her drink before resolving herself.
"The ship was a bonus, I have to go stand in line at the Imperial Bureau of Space Travel and pay for the expenses for that. Notify them that the captain passed away and that I am inheriting the ship. Get my license redone, and making sure we don't get in trouble with the law. We may be bounty hunters, but there's a certain code of ethics involved for me."
She takes a swig before looking from Ven, then to Trevan.
"And what do you mean no retirement for old bounty hunters? You've never been to Mandalore I can assume. I'd suggest grabbing a book sometime, or ask any other you meet. Any elder is welcomed as a teacher for children, and I can guess it would be very similar for the Echani."
Trevan Darksome |
Trevan smiles at Ven, "I did not say that as it is not may place to say that".
Turning back to Kordin, "Mandalore eh? You believe that you will retire back to there one day? Is that your dream? Perhaps a house full of children?
Mandalore like all other worlds, will need to choose sides Bounty Hunter".
Trevan finishes his meal quickly.
"I forsee you both working for the Sith, be thankful I do not forsee it otherwise", he states flatly as he leaves the cafeteria.
From there he heads to his quarters to rest.
GM Phntm888 |
With a chirp, each of you hears your comlink beep. Hessin's voice comes over, saying, "There are a pair of gentlemen from Intelligence hear to meet with you. I have shown them to the formal sitting room, and they await your presence there."
Upon entering the well-appointed sitting room, you see two men in Imperial uniforms. The older steps forward and says, "Good day to you, my lords, bounty hunters. I am Minder 13, and this is Jax Iggins. We were contacted by Hessin, who said you had something we were looking for. Tell me, what might it be?"
Trevan Darksome |
Trevan replies evenly, "The intelligence agent working for my Master was indisposed but I would have thought he would have communicated with you prior to our departure. Have you no idea what it is we are bringing to you Minder 13?"
Kordin III |
Kordin sips from her high ball glass before lowering her voice.
"As fun as a k'lor'slug if you haven't fed it. I think I'll just enjoy myself in the now because he is way too cocky for his own good."
Looking up from her drink the bounty hunter smiles.
"Heeey look, our ticket to 30,000 credits has arrived. Finally, what took you so long? I'm used to intelligence and the people that move money being fairly on quick and in the know. The Imperial troopers who we have nearby are guarding a certain carbonite slab that was to be delivered here on a Sith Lord's orders. If you inspect the goods I'd like our credits, then to bed for me. I will have some things to do tomorrow."
Koro Tass |
Koro enters the meeting room, then leans against the wall, watching the discussion between the Intel personnel and the bounty hunters.
She smirks at Kordin's non too subtle poke at the effectiveness of the Intelligence Corps communication abilities.
GM Phntm888 |
It reveals that he is sitting in the cell he was placed in, alive. His emotions are defiance masking fear, and he is currently not doing anything. Was there something specific you were looking for?
"Ah, you are the bounty hunters who retrieved a certain Republic officer. Thank you for that. Our agent communicated someone who looks nothing like you. We will wire the credits to your account."
"Since we have you here, would you be averse to accepting another task for us? It applies to all of you," he says, including the Sith in his gesture.
Iliquoi |
I am not sure if I can sense family members, captains or superiors with that power, some ONE that he is thinking about.
Trevan Darksome |
"By all means Minder 13 lay out your proposal", Trevan turns to Kordin and grins.
Kordin III |
Kordin stares into her drink remembering how they had come in contact with the officer when she realizes something. She looks up before speaking.
"The Republic Officer may or may not be missing some teeth... from our... brief encounter at a cantina. The intelligence officer on the Inexorable has them. I was under the assumption that he would be in contact with the slab of carbonite at all times. Apparently I was wrong. I handed them over so you guys could confirm it was him without unfreezing him."
Jax Iggins. -Cipher 12 |
Jax steps forward. A youngish man with a professional serious attitude. Imaculate slate grey imperial uniform, dark hair slicked back, mouth thin lined,
" That shouldn't be a problem. Cipher 17 should hand them in when he comes in to debrief, if he doesn't come in then we'll send someone out to catch up with him. Anyhow we trust you are professionals... "
GM Phntm888 |
"We've noticed some suspicious activity in Lower Kaas City, in the warehouse district. We were hoping you could reconnoiter the area and possibly uncover a few leads. We don't have many agents to spare, as the Republic has become more intent on locating and infiltrating Dromund Kaas, and we are focused on counter-intelligence. If you could do this, we would be quite appreciative."
Kordin III |
Returning to her drink, Kordin holds up one hand and rubs her thumb over the tips of her index and middle fingers.
"Your appreciation can't buy fuel or my new license for our ship. If we do take on such a job, for the right price of course, you must give us a few days. My friend and I are in need of some gear. I just have to visit some friends."
GM Phntm888 |
Turning to Koro, he says, "Disappearing shipments, strange HoloNet activity. Nothing to suggest anything sinister until a shipment of baradium went missing. Obviously, such material in the hands of civilians is highly illegal."
Baradium is the explosive material used in thermal detonators and proton torpedoes.
To Kordin, Minder 13 says, "We can come to a financial arrangement, I'm sure. If you would like, as a gesture of good faith, we can even arrange to have the registration updated for you - at no cost to yourself."
