The Many-Faced GM |

Everyone battles on against the goblins but only Mikal is able to land a blow and put a goblin down for good. Clea's burst of positive energy heals numerous townsfolk as well as several of our heroes.
Two goblins continue to poke and prod at Wreck but they are unable to bypass his defenses. One goblin misses a commoner as the other stabs Gad in the arm and breaks his shortspear in the process. The townsfolks rally after the healing energy washes away their wounds, but they too are unable to inflict any wounds.
Gad takes 2 points of piercing damage and 1 point of bleed damage. Wreck continues to take 1 point of bleed damage.

You sure? Any amount of magical healing automatically heals bleed damage, at least under normal circumstances.
Henry turns to assist Wreck, who seems to be having some difficulty.

The Many-Faced GM |

Botting Gyorgy.
Henry's summoned spear sails by a goblin. Mikal rapier misses a goblin but nicks the wagon. Wreck and Gar continue to bleed as they fight on, their weapons finding no perch on the goblins. Clea rushes to Wreck's aid, her healing energy sealing his wounds shut. Gyorgy hurries through the square to come around behind Gar and the wagon.
Two goblins continue their dance with Wreck and one manages to scratch the big orc's cheek. The rest continue to stab at Gar and the townsfolk but arms tire and they begin to lose their resolve. The Sandpoint natives fight back and manage to club one of the goblins to death.
Gar continues to take 1 point of bleed damage. Wreck takes 3 points of piercing damage.

But sadly, he only manages to slice air.

Sneak Attack adze slashing damage: 1d6 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + (1) + 1 = 5
Blood was slickening his grip and ruining his aim again. "Its not the ale!" Gar laughs despite his situation. "Thank goodness its only severe bloodloss. I thought for a moment I couldn't handle my ale. Damn you Gobbo for making me think that!"

The Many-Faced GM |

We can only move ourselves, although I assume Many-Faced can do it.

Seeing the situation otherwise well in hand, Henry approaches the sleeping goblins, halberd in hand...
I get ready to coup-de-grace the sleeping goblins.

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar feels a tingle along his arm and the wound there closes enough to stop the flow of blood. Looking up, he sees a Varisian gal looking like she might be a priestess of sorts, Desna most likely. As the men around him clobber the last of the goblins in his scrum he raises his adze in salute to the woman and calls out. "Thanks and well met. Let me buy you a beer later."
To those around him, "Good job. Like I said, let's finish off the buggers and the beer is on me." Gar pounds off to check the nearest goblin who was magic'ed and might need a push to make it to Goblin Hell.
Double move to set up coup-de-grace

Gyorgy Elberion |

Gyorgy steps beside the dwarf and the fallen goblin: "It could wake up any time, but it won't be able to see or think straight for a short while after that."
Rage and shock and frustration and confusion roil within Gyorgy as he looks at the absurd, cruel creature unconcsious before him. He looks to Gar, "What should we do?"
He fiddles with his scarf, feeling the weight of the blades as they bounce against his thigh.

The Many-Faced GM |

Wreck's bastard sword decapitates the last conscious goblin.
Combat is effectively over. You can coup-de-grace the goblins or bind them without any issues.
A hushed quiet falls over the courtyard as the final goblin falls. Pillars of smoke can be seen rising over various buildings. The immediate threat is ended, but the rest of Sandpoint could still be under siege.
These goblins were well organized and well trained. They used decent tactics compared to average goblins.
These are local goblins from the Lick Toad tribe, but they appeared to be much more organized than rumors would allow.

![]() |

Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
"These were the local Licktoad goblins...but normally the Licktoad approach to battle looks like nothing so much as them all bouncing around like so much Andoran kettle-corn. These seemed...organized. Disciplined. It's not like them."

Mikal Karoly |

"Maybe they're under 'new management'? Leave a few alive to question, perhaps? And maybe, if they won't talk, once the town is secure, we should organize a force and go to them, find out what is going on? If they are being organized by someone and have an agenda, it would behoove us to know what that might be so we can be ready if they aren't done yet."
Mikal moves to bind helpless goblins rather than coup de grace them.

Clea Starshine |

Clea attends any wounded she can find, using skill if she can, channeling if she has to. She hears the conversation and adds, goblins can be well organised if they want, but I see your point. Prisoners would be better than slaughter anyway. Let the townsfolk decide what to do with them after.

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar spits on the unconscious goblin at his feet. "Ain't known a Gobbo to say anything worth repeating. But if'n someone wants risk their sanity, fine. But we should hurry, there is still a fire somewhere.
When someone hands him some cord, he trusses up the goblin, impressed while he does with how messed up this goblin is. To Gyorgy at his side, "You did this son? Impressive. Goes to show how dumb the Gobbos are. He pauses to laugh, They attack the day the town is full of wizards and priestesses and that small mountain of sword and armor over there. They didn't see you coming, huh? Gar's the name. Come, you got any water magics for that fire?"

NotPFS Wreck |

Wreck slowly tries to clean the filthy goblin blood from his weapon. Not worth the effort. But he had to do what he had to do. He looks around. Noone was coming after him? Either the mask works. Or they didnt notice... either way. It was a good sign
-Posted with Wayfinder

Gyorgy Elberion |

Gyorgy grins at the capable dwarf's praise, "Well, um yeah."
Then he catches himself, "No, no water magic. But if anyone's injured from the fire, I might be able to help a little. Not like a cleric or anything, just..."
Gyorgy scratches his neck and looks up at the plumes of smoke, trying to calculate where the nearest plume might be coming from.

Mikal Karoly |

Mikal cleans his blade, and does a quick search of goblins to see if they have anything worth examining closer - perhaps some indication of their organization... or anything worth selling for cash.
"Name's Mikal by the way, and I've got no fire fighting magics like create water or drench... sorry.. but I could beat out flames with a blanket or something if someone's got such a thing around... or work a bucket line if needed."

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar watches the townsfolk drag away the goblin to the group near the Half-Orc. "Souvenirs for the Sheriff and Mayor to deal with. To you visitors Clea, Mikal...um Magic-flame-guy, I say thanks for stepping up. Sand Point usually isn't knee-deep in Gobbos. Oh, we have the occasional trouble, but they mostly tend to just prowl Junk Beach. They are fun to throw rocks down at. But I agree Henry, Licktoads in mass, attacking from different directions, very strange. Especially since Seven Tooth Gobbos claim the beach."
He waves the tall swordsman over and calls, "Hey you, Masked Mountain. You still got a fight in your belly? Follow us to the fire, because I guarantee, where ever there is fire, there are gobbos...like moths to a flame...big green, grubby moths."

NotPFS Wreck |

Wreck turns to the one who spoke. He probably meant him. He gives him a thumbs up
"Eye is....am... am ready to fight" he still had trouble speaking this Common tongue. He might get better in time
-Posted with Wayfinder

Clea Starshine |

Clea looks around, and sees the situation well in hand. The locals were tending the wounded and gathering the dead, as well as now very alert to further attacks.
You are right, Gar. The goblins are still a threat. Lead on.

Mikal Karoly |

Mikal heads toward the signs of smoke as well, wanting to help deal with goblins and fire both.

The Many-Faced GM |

Following the smoke through the town is easy enough. It only takes a minute of hustling through the mostly empty streets before the carnage is encountered. Coming around the corner numerous goblins can be seen enjoying the fires that are blazing. Several structures are on fire, each with a pack of goblins standing near them laughing and singing. Screaming can be heard but it's impossible to pinpoint a location from here.
