"Anything particular about the vault? Is that a noble family: could be right that they're looking for gold." Gyorgy nods agreeably at the dwarf.
So now we're supposed to figure out this whole thing? What's that old joke: no good deed goes... Unpunished.
Then he smiles at Sherrif Hemlock, "Sounds like we're your guys-" he catches himself and nods to Clea, "and gals."

The Boneyard cemetery rests just outside of the Sandpoint Cathedral. It overlooks the Turandarok river and is mostly marked by simple grave stones. Some of the more affluent members of the town own stone vaults that stand near the edges or the center of the cemetery. The grounds are meticulously maintained and even the trees and shrubberies are well-trimmed. This particular vault was used to house the remains of acolytes, priests, and servants of the previous cathedral, not really known for luxury or wealth.

At the vault entrance, Gar pulls his adze from his belt. "Let me give it a looksee first. I got the eyes for dark spaces. Just don't want us to walk into any Gobo trap...not that they are that smar...." Gar voice drifts off and he disappears into the dark for a quick look and listen.

Mikal awaits Gar's return nervously, worried that the rogue is alone facing who knows what... "Perhaps we should follow him at a distance with the light, just to make sure he doesn't get ambushed or something."
| The Many-Faced GM |
From the entrance, Gar can see most of the vault. There are numerous stone sarcophagi in the main chamber dedicated to the previous caretakers, priests, and acolytes who once served the Cathedral. Some of the sarcophagi have been opened and their tops lie strewn about the floor.
The room appears to have been vandalized. There are a few discarded burnt torches and a stylized stick laying in a pile near the door.

The stick radiates no magical auras but there is a stylized skull carved into the stick.
Shuffling sounds echo through out the chamber as the bones of skeletons drag across the floor. Numerous skeletons come creeping out of the darkness. They carry no weapons but still wear the trappings of tattered robes.

Gyorgy just starts talking from pure nervous excitement, "Oh, goodness, this is like the story of Korlan and the dancing hats. With the juggler in the graveyard, where..."

Big apology from me. Somehow I deleted the thread from my 'focused' threads. I thought the group had gone silent, hence my post on to the discussion thread a few days ago, sort of seeing if their was still activity. I must have missed the number of posts on the play tab. I thought to look today specifically to see if I had screwed up somehow, and to my utter embarrassment I had. Again my apology to all for holding things up and a lesson learned to me to beware accidentally eliminating a thread.
