The creatures are definitely undead, skeletons of warriors from some distant past. This isn't a graveyard or tomb, so they must have been summoned from somewhere else and brought to this location.

EDIT: Story Master, better use DC 16 to be safe. My sheet's showing +2 versus undead but I'm not sure that's accurate. May not have time to find a definitive answer tonight, so let's give the skeletons the benefit of the doubt for now. :o)

Nastrod, I think you mixed up on the critical part. Unless you actually do crit on a 10, which is whoa.

Flug jerks uncontrollably and hunches over, a black swirl of energy surrounding his form for a few seconds. When it vanishes, a humanoid wolf coated in white fur and clad in Flug's armor lifts its head.

It turns to face the skeletons in the east and walks forward, drawing the morning star hanging from its belt, to block Celif from their view.

Standard action to use Many Forms, transforming into an adlet or the closest humanoid approximate in the world of Sæmyyr (humanoid wolf, but not a werewolf). I gain +2 STR (size bonus) , scent, and low-light vision. Move action to W-8 (in front of Celif), drawing my Morning Star.

Fener and Rudy launch attacks at skeleton warrior #8. Rudy fails to get a bite on the creature, but Fener, in cat form, bites and claws the creature solidly, and bones go flying in all directions as the skeleton is ripped to pieces! #8 is destroyed.

Nastrod gracefully steps back and slams his flaming sword into skeleton #4. The blade makes contact and both physical and fire damage result!

Flug concentrates and mysteriously transforms into a wolf form, and moves toward the skeletons emerging from the east warehouse.

Thorgrim moves into the warehouse, and skeleton #4 strikes at him in passing 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 but misses! Thorgrim attacks #4 and #3, missing #3 but striking #4 with a powerful blow that sends bones flying in all directions, destroying it! #4 is destroyed.

Not to be a downer but Cleave specifies that the second attack is only attempted when the first one hits. If the first one didn't hit, no second attack, sadly. Though it's fine if he attacked #4 first. :P Don't forget he gets -2 to AC after the cleave until his next turn!

The white-furred wolf in Flug's black armor jerks its head, its ears twitching to some inaudible sound.

Thorgrim powers his weapon at #1 and smashes it with a tremendous blow, and the creature blows apart, bones flying in all directions! #1 is destroyed. Thorgrim then whirls and tries to strike #2, but the skeleton is able to parry the blow with its shield!

Fener and Rudy advance toward skeleton #7. Rudy attempts to bite the skeleton but his attack is blocked! However, Fener launches claws and teeth at the creature, causing enormous damage, and the skeleton flies apart in multiple directions! #7 is destroyed.

Seeing all the skeletons destroyed on the ground, Gezzo ducks into the open door to avoid the arrows. While moving he quickly scans the area for any doors to the tower.

Gezzo slides his morningstar into his belt as the wolf moves for cover.

It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust from the bright sunlight to the dark shadows of this warehouse. The open area of this room contains scattered bone shards. There are numerous items relating to ship repair in this room, and much is still useable – barrels of spikes and nails, scrap metal, boxes of pulleys, wood planking, etc. An anvil and hoist are present and in working condition. There are also piles of hemp rope and several sheets of sailcloth; however, moisture and mold have rendered them brittle and too weathered for use. A large metal toolbox sits in one corner. Beside the toolbox is a two-handed sledgehammer in good repair (1d12/x2 if used as an improvised weapon, 15 gp).

There is one entrance, 5 feet wide, which faces the wharf. I covered the tower outline when I placed a "roof" on it for the two skeletons that you can see. If you want, I can create a separate map of just the tower, showing all levels. There are two levels to the tower, each 10 feet high, plus the roof which has a crenellated top. Gezzo pulls out his crossbow as Lryhla follows the group out of the building. He takes aim at the skeletons on the roof as the wolf heads for the tower door.

Attacks Skele A if he can see it when it gets into range while Lryhla moves to J8. Once in position, he looks around, drops his crossbow and pulls out his morningstar.

Well...Gezzo cant hit a barn with his crossbow, but he can at least see very clearly how bad of a shot he is.

The crenellations on the tower roof also offer partial cover, so your chances were further reduced by that factor.
