this is a great suggestion, but what exactly are you talking about?? The battle wagon itself?? the decanter?? my leadership system?? all 3?? LOL

Was thinkin the wagon or decanter... lol. The system will end up far nastier I reckon!

Aww, but I wanted it to run off of the broken dreams of children and the tears of orphans....

Male Human (Mwangi) Artificer 3

The decanter of endless water sounds like exactly what we need. It's a little costly but having a component built into the engine to supply water is definately preferable to relying on one party member being up and able to cast.

Valen, leave the necrotech to squad 1. If they can get that chuck wagon of theirs self-powering we'll be able to settle our differnces once and for all on the quater-mile.

Wooo! Drag Race! And even if it blows up we take them with us!

Dotting to follow the action of the other groups.

Necrotech is an awesome idea!

Also new post is up. I've posted that the three fleeing highwaymen are heel and toeing it as fast as they can.

And I'm also taking a leaf out of one of my co-GMs play books and asking you folks to list the magic treasures that you would like to find in the future. No guarantees that you'll get them but at least I'll have an idea about what to bring into the game.

I'm still working through all the ideas for the faction leadership thing, there are some decent ideas in there, it's just a matter of making them work.

Back as soon as I've muddled my way through!

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 1

Greetings from squad 4 =) and a dott...

Like Krathok says, a Decanter of Endless water would help me make the Big Top a reality and give Torque the in-character inspiriation to pursue steam-tech in the first place. Other than that, I'm easy. The artificer has a class feature called 'salvage' that allows him to break a magic item down into it's value in materials that can then be used to make a different magic item.

I get craft wonderous item at level 4, craft magic arms and armour at level 5. Other crafting feats come later, but I can at least make sure we have exactly the weapons and armour that we need.

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

Torque, what book is the Artificer from?? want to read over it to check out whatcha can do and eventually can do.

Male Human (Mwangi) Artificer 3

It's a 3rd party class from the Tome of Secrets. Needless to say, I got the Ok from Pentor before rolling one up. It's presented online here

I know you have the OK, but as your co-GM, i wanna know what you're able to do, and perhaps find ideas for plot n stuffies to give you, lol

Hey MonkeyGod here is a link to a write up on the Artificer class in the Pathfiner SRD.

Also I'm looking forward to the many fiendish plans that both MonkeyGod and I have in store for you all! I would insert a maniacal laugh in here but I've been overdoing the maniacal laughs lately.

Now, I am but a simple man. I only ask for these things:

Spoiler:
+5 animated heavy mithral shield, +5 defending distance returning shortspear, +5 determination heavy fortification mithral fullplate, +5 keen speed adamantine greatsword, amulet of natural armor +5, belt of physical perfection +6, boots of striding and springing, cloak of resistance +5, gloves of dueling, ring of protection +5, ring of regeneration

Mind you, I have this character built to level 20, so this is my optimal set of items for that level. I plan to always fight with a great sword, so we can at least start with that. :)

I'll see what I can do Gremm. You might have to fight a lot of giants to get all that stuff in your size though!;)

I'm only medium size, though! I don't mind if it fits a little tight.

Hahaha you say that now but when your chafing like crazy you'll be sorry!

I am a strong man. Nothing can be worse than a whipping from Pa.

Hiros Gremm wrote:

Well how can I compete with that?:)

Ok so I'm quite interested in adopting MonkeyGods suggestion of having PCs gaining Leadership points. Currently I'm not sure how we are going to implement it but I'm looking at players being able to accrue these points starting at level 6. However this is just a suggested starting point and that could change as we discuss the suggestion.

So could somebody please give me an outline of the idea and suggest ways of implementing it? I'd do it myself but I'm to lazy and How I Met Your Mother is on TV.

Hiros Gremm wrote:

UNDEAD PA!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Ahhh magic items. How I love thee. I will follow Gremm's example and put what I'd ideally like by 20th level. I know I may not even get half of these, but oh well. Assume that lower levels of items at lower levels is desired, i.e. Ring of Spell Storing, minor, regular, and major.

wishlist:
Bracers of Armor +8, Ring of Spell Storing, Major, Ring of Protection +5, Amulet of Natural Armor +5, Headband of Mental Superiority +6, Belt of Physical Might (dex, con) +6, Cloak of Resistance +5, Deck of Illusions, Metamagic rod of Persistent, major, scroll tube

That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll find some more things later. As an FYI I love random magical items like Wonderous Pigments and other things people find dull or useless. I always try to find some interesting use.

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

I shall give you a magic pig. I'm not sure what it will do, but the only way to make it work is by calling it "Ma Peg"

Male Human (Tian) Barbarian (Urban Barbarian, Spirit Totem) 3

Wish List: Things that would help Nine Tail be a better scout. Darkvision goggles for his mask = cool item #1. Boots of spider climb would be #2. A CON boosting item would be nice.

Plus anything to emphasize his bestial fey connection would be cool along the lines of natural armor, minor shape-changing, short teleportation, resistances, hiding/invisibility, misleading tricks, etc.

Monkeygod wrote:

Obviously it'll at least give me a +3 to diplomancy magic.

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

So, anything with Cold Iron in it right, Nine Tail?

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Or maybe he has pork vision and shoots deliciously cooked pork products from his eyes.

mmmmm, bacon.

Male Human (Varisian) Fighter 3

Meat vision!

Male Dwarf Monk/2

I'm incredibly new to Pathfinder, so I'm not sure what magical items would benefit my monk. I'm familiar with the amulet of Mighty Fists and know that any Wisdom-boosting gear is beneficial, but other than that, do you have any specific recommendations for what I should request?

Paizo Employee

Male Human (Varisian) Fighter 3

Monk's Robe

Boots of Springing and Striding - go fast

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Monks don't need the movement increase, but I would reccomend Boots of Speed. They grant haste as per the spell for so many rounds per day that need not be used consecutively.

Hiros Gremm wrote:

Scan for Monkeygod: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

"Heh. Coast clear. Meat vision you say? Is there any other way to see the world!!!??"

shrugs shoulders, brushes glitter from apron and slinks off before Monkeygod see's him: (Simian Deity Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25)

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

casts Color Spray on the Glitterdusted little halfing.

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Yay! I just fed that kid's family for like a week!

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

Deific Perception check1d100 + 50 ⇒ (45) + 50 = 95 Nothing can hide from the all seeing eyes of Monkey the Maleficient!!!. **casts Insanity on the intruder, Will save DC 125.** **casts Confusion on the Intruder, Will save DC 125.**

Hey, your average commoner doesn't really get to see magic all that often. Even if it is just a nifty use of mage hand.

The magic is great! The showboating leaves much to be desired.

Sorry for disappearing for a couple of days everybody! I've been working 14 hour days and haven't had the energy to check in on the games till tonight, and I just finished working another 14 hour shift and have to go back to work in about 8 hours so I'll just be trying to get some in-game posts up and move this sucker along.

Things are moving along nicely from what I can see, I will try and come up with a good post to add to what Monkeygod is doing, later on tonight. I'm so glad it's my last day of work tommorrow!

Ahh, so what you're saying is it needs to be bigger. Well, I can do bigger.

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Wait, did Tok just decline tea?!?!?! That goes against every monk stereotype ever!

Male Human (Tian) Barbarian (Urban Barbarian, Spirit Totem) 3

And Dwarf stereotype "I only drink water". I think our team found its waterboy.

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

Hahaha, now a whole bunch of water boy quotes are running through my head.

But I think Tok is eventually planning on going drunken master/fist.

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

if you guys can figure out ways to pull off Waterboy quotes in game, without seeming lame, I'll find a away to reward you, LOL

Disclaimer:
I make no promises as to the usefulness or value of any rewards, but I do promise they will be cool :) lol

Male Human Sorcerer 3 (Abyssal Bloodline)

I'm still waiting on my pig!

Male Dwarf Monk/2

Yes, the drunken master is potentially in my future. I'm thinking Tok had something of a drinking problem when first arriving at the monastery, so he was put on a strict regimen of water and bread. Afraid of losing control, Tok only drinks from his own waterskin.

But it's only a matter of time...

Male Human Gunslinger (Gun Tank)/ Lvl 3

Sorry for being gone for a spell Squadies. (Heh! If the Spell had only been a Standard action I wouldn't have been gone for so long. Wow... That was lame.) I'm back now though!

Oh, I'll be sure to try and help push towards the edge.
