Allrianne |
Fear(22): 1d100 ⇒ 90 Well that's a fail with 6 degrees of Failiure, feel free to re-roll/give me something else, but in the interest of keeping things moving
Shock: 1d100 + 60 ⇒ (44) + 60 = 104
Allrianne embarrassingly faints dead away. For 1d5 ⇒ 3 rounds, gaining 1d5 ⇒ 2 insanity and upon recovery will be shaken suffering -10 to all tests until the end of the encounter - awesome!
Yelisaveta Alekseevna |
Fear Test: 1d100 ⇒ 72
Fear Test Re-roll: 1d100 ⇒ 39 1 Fate
Shock Table Result: 1d100 + 10 ⇒ (45) + 10 = 55 Reeling with shock
Arbites Shotgun, Semi-Auto, Shocked, Point Blank, TN 79: 1d100 ⇒ 56 2 hits for 2 scatter each, Left Leg, Right Leg.
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
"Emperor...", utters Yelisaveta with a shaken voice, taking a small step back as the shambling undead lurks into the room. The Arbites shotgun raises in her shaking hands as she pulls the trigger twice. Two resounding shots are heard, and the sound of eyeball-sized pellets hitting rotting flesh follow right after. The shells tear deep into the legs of the undead, and she lets out a nervous laughter.
Because kneecapping is fun.

GM can always rule that the 8 i rolled was for the fear since that was suppose to happen first ;)

De Guerre I'll allow a +10 modifier on the Fear roll, as you it is true that you don't have a very good sight picture. As far as the ward goes; that's pretty much much protection against 'active' psychic attacks or powers; this is pretty much just a horribly grotesque and sanity-twisting sight.
Vhymer's animated corpse staggers through the horrific crossfire, even as your furious onslaught craters his dead flesh.
Emerik Albaras |
Tracking the monster, and horrified that it had survived wounds that should have killed any mortal, Emerik grit his teeth and pulled the trigger once more.

Binerith |
Fear: 1d100 ⇒ 81
Binerith gasps and closes his eyes. He begins to pray to the machine spirits. High-pitched and disturbing noises begins to emit from his body, causing nearby people to feel the wrath of the Machine God
Sorry about being so late, using feedback screech
Yelisaveta Alekseevna |
Yelisaveta feels the wall on her back as she retreats further from the walking corpse. She fires another two blasts at Vhymer's reanimated body.
Semi-auto, Point Blank, Shaken.: 1d100 ⇒ 87
The tight spread of the barrage blasts to the right of the body, as she readies the shotgun, the loading mechanism's sound being drowned in the screeching of the Tech-Priest.
"Are you sure it'll work?", she shouts, turning her attention towards Binerith, her expression a combination of shock and rage.
cirle |
Da Guerre, make a perception test (+ 10, visual).
The illumen tubes in a 5 meter radius around the tech-priest shatter, raining down shards of glass.
Vhymer, his ruined body juddering under the hammer blows of the many rounds he has taken, advances implacably upon the Sister of the Sororitas.
Vhymer's grapple: 1d100 ⇒ 24
cirle |
Hmmm. So I'm going to assume that loosing a half-action doesn't cut into getting a 'full' reaction: Sister Jasmine, you can still dodge, though because of Binerith's sonic assault, and the falling glass, there'll be a penalty (-10)
Allriane, make a Toughness test (+0), to see if you 'jarred' awake by the air-raid siren going off in the hall behind you.
Yelisaveta Alekseevna |
Yelisaveta takes a long look at the shambling corpse, then around the room. "Ублюдку...", she exhales, seeing the sword to Allrianne's side. She runs through the room, and gives the noble a less than gentle slap across the face. "Shake it off, дура!", she shouts in her ear, as she tries to wake her from her stupor.
I think that'd be my whole turn. Not sure what the rules are for that, but shouting is Yelisaveta's forte. Also, no offense to Allrianne, calling her names and such. It's all in the heat of battle!
Sister Jasmine |
I only have a 29 in ST, so no way I'm beating that...I'm more familiar with Grapple in DW, not in DH, didn't think such a focused action is allowed while in a grapple, but makes for nice story....I don't know the rules you're going by, so unsure what else I can do...Do I have any actions? I'll try to catch up on the grapple rules for DH and see what my options are.
Sister Jasmine loses her grip on her bolter as the being takes it, much to her surprise.
Emerik Albaras |
Emerik stared for a moment. How many shots would it take to kill this creature? He'd already sunk a dozen shells into it's fetid corpse, and that wasn't including what the others had managed. Still, it apparently wouldn't hurt to add some more. He fired another carefully aimed burst.

Sister Jasmine: yeah, going more cinematic than what is probably actually within the scope of the rules. And as far as cinematic goes, how about this; as a Half Action take the Manoeuvre option, you didn't merely let him take the bolter, you pushed it against him, make a WS skill against his last roll; if you get two DOS you push him over Alekseevna who's skittering behind him (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk).
Alekseevna: You see Quill, a second bloody smile beneath his chin, looming just inside the kitchenette door. (He's going to get a PB shot as you sidle by, if Sister Jasmine knocks over Quill, there's a 50% chance that he shoots Vhymer instead).
Alberas: Its like pumping rounds into a dead grox.
Da Guerre rushes into the chaos of the melee.
cirle |
Binerith is able to roll a ball of knotted lightning into the room, weaving it between the acolytes without hitting anyone, but unfortunately it soars harmlessly through the kitchenette.
Sister Jasmine shoves her bolter into Vhymer's abdomen, which causes him to loose his balance, and rather comically he topples over Alekseevna, who is darting behind him (to reach unconscious Allriane).
Quill fires at Alekseevna from within the kitchenette Quill's shot: 1d100 + 30 ⇒ (13) + 30 = 43Quill accidentally shoots Vhymer (Yes <50%): 1d100 ⇒ 8
Yelisaveta Alekseevna |
"S&$&...", mutters Yelisaveta, ducking down reflexively as she's shot at. "Die already!", she shouts in anger, letting out another salvo at Vhymer.
Attack, TN 79: 1d100 ⇒ 39 4 DoS, for a total of 6 hits.
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
The shotgun barks again, and the reloading mechanism clanks viciously. Pellets shred the dead tissue, sending a spray of it everywhere around the room. "There's another one, in the kitchen!", she shouts. "Need some covering fire!"
Emerik Albaras |
Emerik grunted at the news that a second one had appeared. "I'll try and hold the one in the kitchen," he called out, "Focus on killing this one fast!" Focusing fire on one element of the enemy and thus reducing the chance of it being able to affect your force was a sound tactic, although Emerik was less than cheerful at volunteering to deal with the other.
Aiming into the kitchen door, he opened up on the undead Quill. Since no one had engaged him yet, he opened up with both weapons. Hopefuly the raw force of lead would make the Chaos-tainted monster stagger back.

Alekseevna : Vhymer's right leg is almost completely destroyed, a strand of tendon and some some-shattered fragments of bone is all that is left of his knee-cap; the lower part of the leg dangling loosely. Note that Vhymer is flat on his back, on the floor, and struggling to get up, since the one leg won't take it any weight, it is very difficult for him (it).
Albaras : Like an oak in gale, Quill sways in a storm of lead, but doesn't go over.
De Guerre : you take up position besides Sister Jasmine.
Binerith : Make a Perception test [+10].
Allriane : Allriane, you wake this round, though that is pretty much your whole action this round.
Konstantine : We'll have him in the back, watching the parameter: Guild Members are scurrying back and forth, and there are alarms; mournful, tolling bells.

Yelisaveta Alekseevna |
Yelisaveta moves next to the body of Vhymer, lying and writhing on the ground. "Die, упирь!", she shouts, aiming the shotgun at the head.
Attack, half aim, single shot, point blank, head, TN 59: 1d100 ⇒ 95
Her shaking hands fail, however, and the blow ricochets in the stone floor, sending a cloud of dust and deformed pellets into the room. "Черт!", she shouts again, furious at herself, as she puts her finger on a new scratch on her shoulder.
