Yeah it should not take more than half a day to enter the Crow via the sewer entrance and backtrack to the storage area where you found the clockwork servant.
As suspected, Gared's key does indeed fit the clockwork servant. Once he winds it up, the creature springs to life after a few shuddering fits and starts, then stands motionless until the person who wound it up moves. At this point, the servant follows that person, never straying farther than 10 feet away and acting as a bodyguard.
Here are its STATS.
Post will be incoming this evening.

Carridan: Sorry about the misunderstanding here. I was not completely clear with Jasper's responses. I should have clarified his gaze was still unfocused after you revived him. In other words the fact he is in pain had nothing to do with his lucidity. I just wanted to emphasize his mental instability here.
I apologize for the confusion.
If you wish to reconsider your actions here, I will allow you to do so.

Wow. On the one hand, I don't feel quite as bad about not posting for several days because of being swamped with changes at work...
On the other, I feel bad for not chiming in earlier to say that while I can certainly understand real life impeding our gameplay, I for one would prefer to keep playing at a slower pace than to close the Campaign. This is my longest running surviving game & I have been enjoying it & you guys immensely. You guys have also been here for me through some fairly harrowing times & if we do wind up closing things down, I will miss you all.
Perhaps a temporary hiatus so DM Eric can recharge? I seem to recall we had one a while back, or I may be thinking of a different Campaign.
Maybe we could all check in again in a couple weeks time with a brief re-cap to reacquaint ourselves? It might actually also assist me in finishing up the Campaign Journal...

Sounds like a solid idea. I may have a job at Wal-Mart soon, but things are quite busy lately on my end.

Okay, guys.
I do appreciate you guys wanting to stick with this game. I have enjoyed running this game a lot and think you guys have a...unique chemistry, he he. Still, to be honest, I do have trouble staying motivated for a game where the players do not actively take an interest in the game as much as I do.
Since I see everyone is having RL issues to deal with now, I will put this game on a hiatus until Sunday March 29th, about 2 1/2 weeks. I hope this gives all of you (and myself) a chance to refresh and recharge our collective batteries.
I will check back here at that time.
Take care and I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
DM Eric.

Well, I've got orientation at Wal-Mart tomorrow, so things are looking up on my end. Hopefully, it translates into a permanent position after the remodel is done.

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay in posting, but I've just had one of the busiest weeks of my life. It also has turned out to be one of the best weeks of my life, as I was accepted into my medical school for the coming fall class! I'm going to be a doctor!
As far as the game goes, I adore it and I'd really rather not see it go. I hope we can all pick back up, refreshed and replenished after the break!
Gared Naught
Here and hopeful/excited to get back into the thick of it! And thank you! I can't wait to start attending, though there's certainly a lot to figure out between now and then!

Okay...After giving this some thought as to whether to resume this game due to some RL issues, I have decided to resume this game once again. I know how much you guys have enjoyed this game and my DMing style so I am willing to keep going with this!
Judging by the posts here, It looks like Horven, Gared and Carmina have all checked in. I just need Yamyra and Carridan to chime in and we can get this ball rolling!

Sorry I have missed out posting the last few days. I came down with a flu bug Thursday night & have alternated bed-ridden with being violently ill in the bathroom since then. Feeling better now.

OK a quick note here:
While I do enjoy the RP aspects going on here, I do not want this to lead to any bad blood between you guys. If you are feeling as if things are getting out of hand, let me know via PM or here in discussion.
As for Dialla, right now it looks like only Carridan wishes to apprehend her. Let me know if anyone wishes to help him here.
Horven Graveltoes
It's strictly RP on my end.

Assuming the soon-to-be fetched captain accepts the, Dialla was a murderess but she got away, (which doesn't make much sense to me, as the question of who was murdered is bound to come up if there isn't a body left) Gared would move to talk with Carridan and then Horven separately before deciding whether or not to act to turn in Dialla before the group reached their destination. The Erastilian must address the dissent within the community!
Gared Naught
I understand this, but Dialla had already explained her plan to disguise herself as Chebby when Carridan had left to go inform the captain, correct? So unless Carridan doesn't recall or share the details, her plan wouldn't work?

I'll be heading out of town this weekend. I'll try and keep up.

I'll be traveling as well, and won't have my computer with me, but I ought to be able to make a post or two with my phone.

Me too.

I'd like to do a little more of the conversation with Carridan, assuming he's so inclined, but we could do that in flex time and keep going.

I'm well aware that I'm a complete idiot for not saying this earlier, but I'm moving today. :P So I perhaps won't post anything in a few days, depending on how bad the jetlag hits me.
Sorry guys, I was so immersed on planning everything that I almost forgot to tell you. :(
