Nathaniel, we can handwave the airship roleplay and assume you found an engineer who quotes you the figures we talked about previously. Anyone who needs to buy stuff, do it now. Then decide how long you're staying in town. We'll say it's the second day now.

Okay, Viorel finds the paralictor by asking around for 1d4 ⇒ 1 hours. He seems amenable to your offer. He says that if you can manage to take the keep and hold it for them, that you will be welcome there and rewarded to boot. If you attempt to take the keep for yourselves you will have made an enemy of the Order of the Nail.

Barek, the flying machine was fairly cheap, 3000some gold if memory serves. Nathaniel was asking for donations, but it's up to you whether you chip in. There is 36500 GP from the trophies, plus 7750 for the various suits of plate mail. That's 44,250, divided by six gives 7,375 Gold each.

Rosa will put up Her and any short fall GM, 3000/5=600each if your in, I mayself think is a grand bit of kit, and well done Nath for comming up with the idea. Rosa will 1st thank Viorel for helping her getting the locals to talk, she not very good at that at all. She will then let Viorel work out just how much the will pay the Order of the Nail, to talk and hold the keep until they get a detachment to them. Rosa will need the party to agree to hand the keep over once its been taken, she of couse would like to be, its not really her call alone to make, nor in fact any of this, its just a plane. We could try and find another place to take, buy her thinking is withe the Order of the Nail on there side it could help them go deeper into the bad lands.

So looks like everyone's done shopping. How long are we staying in town. The shopping and going to talk with the Hellknights took up the second day. We'll say it's the morning of the third day back in town. If you stay to wait for the machine it will be 13 more days.

Although I must warn you all, if that's your decision I may have to pause this game for a while to avoid destroying the shared timeline between the two groups. Two weeks is a lot of time for them to alter what you might find out in the wastes. They already came across some of your handiwork.

Im for heading out and doing a sweep again, or even heading to the fort if its not to far, and do a recon.


You guys were almost to the fort when you found the barn with the Mohrg. It's in the next hex over. Also keep in mind your rings of sustenance take a week to kick in. Once that time is past you'll only need to rest for two hours a night. Though traveling in the mists would be slow.


Well Cinderfang is still missing. Also with that info I would lean on let's go. I noticed little problem with the plan about buying a scroll of teleport. We would need CL 27 scroll to move us all. Since 1 medium/3CL+caster and we have two large ones that counts as double so 9x3=27. Luckily Torin has travel domain which means we have tree casters so we can do with 3 scrolls with 3375gp or 562.5 gp per head. Because of that, the location of the keep and travel times I would say it's not really worth it because if we can get word back to the knights imidietly. We most likely are back before the flying apparatus is finished.

Viorel I see your points, all sounds good to me, if the party is down one, should we look to higher another? or head out as is? as there is another group 1 or 2? I forget we need to keep up doing stuff, I would say, but its a party call,

Lemme see about the Cinderfang situation. If he's gone there's a cleric of Gorum that really wants to play here. He failed to make it into the other group.

Cinderfang goes about his business the next day, quickly gathers his necessary supplies and then assists the group in their own preparations. He quickly gets restless in the town, frequently asking when the group is ready to leave.

Cinderfang is definitely a fan of getting back on the road.

I would say go the same route we came to the keep and then the shortest route. Assuming success then sending to the knights, wait for them to get their asses there, give the fort to them. After that see what the situation is.
