The better news is that I also put together a google doc for the pantheon of Calweld that I've been meaning to finish for a while. I've wanted to handle that especially since it has mechanical impact for folks who like the divine classes, and makes up a huge chunk of world-building for a setting. Mainly I wanted to offer some extra variety, but it doesn't affect anything in the campaign yet. The only change rather than addition was a total rework of the death god I wasn't super thrilled about.
I’m thinking Jean would probably be played by Jason Statham at his most short-tempered.
So, a cool loose cannon type of guy, unless he's stuck playing across from Dwayne Johnson? Who apparently has a clause in his contracts where no-ones allowed to look as flawless on-screen as the rock?
In fairness, given the size of the Rock, it might simply be survival instict on other actors part. You don't wanna upset the guy whose arm is as big as you are.
So, I'm still working on intro posts for our new comPCtriots which may make things a bit hectic in the game til we meet up, but as a heads up this game is unlisted from my profile page, and I'm waiting on a response from paizo in the meantime. Things are weird.
Since this is the kind of game I can say this in; I'm interested in seeing whether Abel goes into the plot bathroom, or waits and marinates in "mud" in the name of fair dibs.
I hooe everyone has a good 4th of July, or for those who dont live in the states, a happy regular thursday. I'll push things along friday the 5th if everything goes right.
Also incidentally, is Jean's name pronounced like a more french "John", or like the denim pants?
Edit: Still no response from Paizo on my issue with this game appearing for me. Does anyone know if the customer service email not the right place to look?
Yep, I posted the link to my homebrew races in a couple of places. I really should put one in the campaign info. One of those links was in the last recruitment thread though.
"These beings possess the head and lower body of a snake clad in scales, and the upper body of a human. Their eyes peer with a sense of calculated cunning."
That, and they're a more rare sight than most other races, so seeing a big snake would unnerve most common folks in my mind, nevermind a talking one.

So, just to make sure I'm reading this right, Takesh and I are on the 35th floor now and Lady Ainsworth, Bishop, and my two coworkers are within easy view of the elevators and about to buy some clothes?
Heads up everybody, I'm without internet for a few days, thought it would be a done deal by now, but I'm still looking for an ISP. Posting will resume soon.
Sat down and finally made a list of where Jean stands with the sundry NPCs the party has met. Surprising no one, Jean is still grouchy and antisocial.
The influx of new NPCs will slow down after this. There's a reason I thought a doc laying them all out for memory would be useful.
I imagine Jean as the kind of guy who spends his saturdays in a garage, alone with a bottle of whisky and or scotch while the complete works of Johnny Cash play in the background on loop.
Dang, sorry. I think I need to start keeping notes on NPC's in this game. It's been a while since we started and there are a lot of folks. More accurate edit below.
It's no problem. I thought the same thing, so in the campaign info tab I put a link to a google doc "The Supporting Cast so Far" with summaries for the various NPCs as they come up.
Danke, that will help me a lot. My memory isn't great, and there were several points where problems IRL meant I wasn't very focused on what was happening.
Perfectly understandable. I thought it was weird she didn't react to seeing Jacques given how the last meeting went, what with staking a guy and all. But I didn't know if it was a character quirk I didn't know yet.
Personally deeply stressed by this dude not trying his best in a duel with Alistair. To me it implies that he is conserving his abilities for something they might know about that we may not.
Does anyone else think Till’s response is one that someone in duress would give to someone about to out them in front of a potential abuser? Maybe my sense motive check will reveal more but man these guys got me thinking so hard. Love to hear your interpretations.
