Cept this is applicable to ALL levels, just makes us mythic, like Heracles or Achilles.
I have heard of the Mythic ruleset. Was waiting for them to come out to investigate further.
And yes, playing high level chars = fun.
DMing high level chars = much more difficult

In my case I'll be an expert at a piece of software for HR. I'll help clients use and troubleshoot that software.

So far, I don't think there's much bad. I mean, I haven't been super awesome just yet, but this particular build is geared for the PrC I enter next level.

I am loving this game. This is my first attempt at PbP, and I'm finding that the slower pace of playing online is a lot of fun because I get something to look forward to everyday. It's like the difference between reading a novel and reading a webcomic. But as for specifics of this game things have been fun and interesting, and as Aky pointed out, we are still on day one, so I expect things can keep going pretty well.
Well, I'm happy so long as everyone is having fun. Just wanted to check in.
Well, I suppose I can chime in too. I like this game quite a bit. Right now it is my favorite. I really enjoy my character and am looking forward to leveling up and fighting cool monsters (although one of us is going to have to put a rank or two into Knowledge Religion). I really enjoy all the role play with Circe (my wife likes it too), and I like the rest of the guys as well. Everyone seems to have such interesting characters, and I can't wait to get to know them all better. I also like your cinematic style TGC, it really helps with immersion.
I can't wait to see how things are going to progress from here. It could definitely get very interesting. If there were anything I would suggest is more NPC's. A school like this should have a large and varied cast. Perhaps we could each make one up so the burden wouldn't be all on TGC with his new job and all.

More NPC's is a good idea. I have a short list I've made, but more is always good.
If anyone wants to present ideas for NPC's that'd be great. No need for full builds, but just the basics with a bit about personality/background/etc. Whatever strikes your fancy. I may use them or alter and use them. That kind of help would be much appreciated.

You also may have noticed that I mentioned a lot about automatons, but have sort of let them slip into the scenery. I realized that if this place were 100% safe it would be no fun to play in. ;-) They're still around, but they're on an as-needed basis.
For the record most people believe the city to be 100% safe and you all know that. The ruling council likes that to be public knowledge.

Seems one can't just 'whip up' alchemical items. So can I add a few things to my character sheet that Hemlock would have made up prior?
Specifically 4 Sunrods, 6 Tindertwigs = Total spent making these about 10 gold.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't post over the past few days. I went away for a weekend trip to the Bay of Naples for class and didn't have internet. Totally worth it for a day in the ruins of Pompei though!
