Overly permissive GM's can be pretty scary. It's almost as if they are saying, "Yeah, do what ever it is that you like. It's not going to help against what I have planned. As long as you are happy before you die..."

TCG - for maps there are a few choices:
1. Bodge something up in excel using square cells to represent location.
2. Use a tool like Maptools to put one together, which has a learning curve to start, but gets easier after.
3. Half-way house of cobbling together maps using powerpoint and image files and saving as a jpg. (which is how I put mine together)
As to sharing, there are a multitude of sites out there. I use google docs for mine.

I think Gambit should get his own movie. I just can't decide who should play him though.
Suggested marching order anyone? I would take point or rear guard. My perception is decent, my melee is pretty good. If we go two abreast, I would suggest me and Lorth in the front, Dash and Hemlock in the back, and Aky and Circe in the middle. We could switch things up if we need to, but on our way, I think that would help us the best. Objections or revisions?
Sounds fine by me. Hemlock is notoriously known as a straggler.

Works for me. Though if the guards start asking questions Aky or I should be up front to talk to them. We both have a pretty decent bluff and diplo. I would say probably me, just because I can handle a melee better as well.

I've seen the Malifaux stuff and it looks awesome but that stuff is pricey and it takes time to set that stuff up.
I can honestly say the one thing I look forward too in retirement is the time to play computer games AND with gaming materials! HOpefully my fixed income wont prohibit me from purchasing it.

I was more referring to using leggo's for maps. Kind of a b++$+ to set up, but could be fun for important 3d battles. Probably something to reserve foe BBEG fights.
Lego's aint cheap either but yeah I could see using them for big fights.
Not like you guys are going to be fighting any big things in the future....

I love creepy stuff. I was so sad when a friend moved away who ran some really fun and creepy parlor LARPs. It became a running joke that I always ended up killing my husband's character in those. :)

My friend was recommending that we play Don't Rest Your Head and when he described it I just couldn't get into it. It didn't sound scary or creepy, it just sounded like someone was shooting really hard for creepy and ended up landing in silly instead.
Also, I'm going to be out of town later today and tomorrow. There is a chance I will be able to post, but probably not likely. If there are any actions Dash needs to take, feel free to take the reins TCG.
