Chirinide the Half-Elf |

O.O it got upgraded, I didnt realize that before(actually my last GM was assuming 40 diameter instead of radius, hmmm).
It is a 40ft radius all directions centered on C40(up to d32 and over to k40). The bad guys have to save every round at the end of their turn. The area also counts as difficult terrain.
Acid Arrow: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Malcom Eviscerator |

Dang Malcom, running into the group like that! Why can't he stay out of the way and shoot from range?
Damnit Chirinide. Whats with all the ranged attacks and spells? Everybody knows all the action is up close!
Fort Save #1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Fort Save #2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Fort Save #3: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Fort Save #4: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Assuming nothing debilitating happens to Malcom I'll post his 3rd round actions.
Malcom swings his Shields wildly starting with any target and continues until it drops then moving onto the next. He gets a 5' step in between actions in case he needs to move to hit a new target.
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
if the reflex save Vs. the Entangle spell fails Malcom takes -2 on all following Attack Rolls for the round and -2 AC.
Primary Hand w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26
Primary Hand w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23
Primary Hand w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21
Off Hand w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20
Off Hand w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
Reflex Save Vs. entangle for end of turn: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Gelik Brittlefinger |

Gelik wipes a trickle of cold sweat from his forehead. This fellow may be crazy, running straight into bodaks just like that, but he probably saved my life by getting their attention.
I'd like to see an updated status, e.g. how many enemies are standing after Malcom's action and where they are relative to Gelik, before posting a Round 3 action.

I'd like to see an updated status, e.g. how many enemies are standing after Malcom's action and where they are relative to Gelik, before posting a Round 3 action.
Here is a map that shows how thing look are at the beginning of the round map

Gelik Brittlefinger |

Gelik starts his turn at D38
Seeing as some of the undead were visibly eaten by the alkahest but still dangerous, Gelik lobbed two more bombs at them, this time taking a more measured aim.
Throwing bombs at C42 and D42, counting on Malcom to make short work of the first row and excluding him from the splash damage if he moves forward. Also I apologize, but I overlooked that the splash damage can be halved with a reflex save. I'm including it now.
Ranged Touch 1: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 2 + 1 = 34
Damage 1: 6d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 5, 1, 6) + 6 + 1 = 31 13 splash damage, REF DC22 for half
Ranged Touch 2: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 2 + 1 = 33
Damage 2: 6d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5, 8, 4, 7, 6) + 6 + 1 = 43 13 splash damage, REF DC22 for half
A bomb crit? The rules are not too clear on that. Let's see if it confirms: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
I think it should be only the first die + fixed bonus
Crit damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 = 9

![]() |

Gelik starts his turn at D38
maybe I am missunderstanding your action but are you saying with this that you are moving from your current position up to d38? if so you are going to have to take a move action at the least will have to check when I can access the map which I can't from my work computer

![]() |

Here is a corrected copy of the map at the beginning of the round 3 apparently Gelik and I got our wires crossed and miss understood each other will be posting the results for this round in the next few minutes

![]() |

Malcom start the round off by swing at the bodak in front of him. His first attack hits with a resounding thud however his second and third attacks miss as the bodak is able to move just out of the way. The fourth attack hits but again the fifth attack misses again. Despite the attacks the bodak remains standing if by just a hair or more.
Zaldane and Pendin are still sleeping all the while wake up at the beginning of the next round
Aelaeron and Luca wake up and seeing friend in possible danger teleports all himself and back to the door room.
Drake sets himself up for death dealing the next round putting himself just outside of the entangled area and readies his bow.
Gelik launches his vials of fluid again and in the process kills another of the creatures this time in back row. and causes damage to the surronding bodaks.
Chirinide flys over behind Malcom and goes invisible.
The last three bodaks decide they will go all out 2 stare at Malcom and 1 at Gelik. Fort saves dc 18
I created a new map with the current positions, a link is being emailed to you follow the link to view the map so check your emails you can also edit it now, Zaldane pm me you email address so I can add you to the list too.
Round 3 actions please

Chirinide the Half-Elf |

Chirinide remains invisible this round.
Chirinide pulls out her bow and fires at the bodak in C41,
Shortbow, +2 from Invisibility, at FF AC: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
Dmg from bow: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Sneak Attack Dmg if applicable: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
I am only half evil?!
Edit; looked it up, PF really improved what can be hit with precision dmg, wow. Even constructs can be hit with it now, that's cool.

Nexumis |

A swirl of blue and white light appear near the middle of the room forming an oval portal and producing a grand looking elf dressed in ocean blue robes lined with silver stitching. His blond hair flows down to his mid back, with six braids, three on each side of his head hanging by his chest. Gripping a reddish/brown hickory staff almost matching his copper headband with a yellow gem set within, looking almost as a third eye in the middle of his brow. His face flawlessly smooth but a worried look appears in his eyes.
Oh my... I maybe to late he says in elven, his voice smooth and harmonic. Looking around the room he takes in the dangers the party is facing. (Perception Check)
Kyrsil! Our comrads need our help my friend He says again, in elven, and a Pseudodragon squirms its way out from under the wizards robes and hovers next to Nexumis' head. Chirping wildly its obvious to tell that Kyrsil isn't approving of the sights before his eyes.
Sorry I'm late, Nexumis is here! How can I be of assistance friends? He says in Common. Then pointing his staff at the Bodaks Magic Missile! He commands, firing five magic missiles out of his staff. After attacking Kyrsil and Nexumis make their way to the other side of the room, away from the creatures.

OOC: Hey guys, I've been waiting to join in :) Happy I'm able to come in a time of need. Since I couldn't see the map guys, Or I would have been more specific, I just did a simple attack that doesn't require much rolling. Once I'm up to speed on the area and what not I'll dive right in :) ... Did you email the map to me? Not sure what my email is on here, but send ANYTHING to Tweakerkiller9@yahoo.com

need you to roll init Nexumis, and any ooc comments need to be in the ooc discusion thread or within the ooc tags same as you do with the dice formating. And create a separate profile for the pseudodragon if you will so that I can delineate yours and its actions separately in the future thanks :)

Pendin Fust |

Would we hear battle at this point? Can Pendin see Nexumis' casting and can he see where he casted...My next action is going to depend on if Pendin perceives a threat to his characters...Unless he has already met Nexumis?

![]() |

You can see and hear the battle with bodaks in the next room. I am going to have to say based off the door that Nexumis appeared in the room beside Aelearon, you and zaldane but I need his init first so I know when this will all happen because it will all happen on his init

Lady Zaldane |

Waiting to see the init roll and if we've met Nexumis before
Go ahead and take your action Pendin, his action will hold off till I get a init for him, however it doesn't seem that he is paying to much attention as I pm'd sunday to jump in and he just posted yesterday but not since...so we will see I guess. anyways declare your action

Pendin Fust |

Pendin wakes up and blinks in surprise. "What in Irori..." He notices the battle ensuing and with a glance at Lady Zaldane he says, "I believe our comrades could use assistance."
Move action to stand up and move action to C40.
Reflex save from Entangle1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

![]() |

Malcom and Gelik before you can act you feel part of your life force drained from you as the gaze of the bodaks siphons away some of your life energy. You take 3 negative levels.
Due to this drain all but one of Malcom's attacks misses. The one that does hit kills the bodak in front of you though when you bash his undead skull in.
Zaldane steps back into the hallway and examines the chalice at a distance but is not able to garner much aside from the fact that she is sure it has some sort of magic coming from it. It doesn't look religious either.
Pendin moves back into the battle and thankfully avoids becoming entangled
Drake shots at his target and it hits the arrow sinking into the corpse's gut however the bodak remains standing.
Aelaeron cast Protection from Evil on Luca, Luca cast it on Malcom.
Gelik seems like he is waiting for something or maybe its the draining effect of the bodaks gaze.
Chirinide still invisible shots the same bodak as Drake and as well damages it this time shooting it in the face. Again though it remains standing.
Out of the door-room steps a regal looking blond elf in flowing blue robes and gripping a staff, He asks if he is late and then begins talking to a pseudodragon before turning around and shooting a magic missile at the bodak everyone has shot at this round. Despite his effort the bodak remains standing.
The bodaks as revenge for the death of their friend glare at at Gelik and Malcom again Fort save each of you, will post an update for the map when I get home. Round 4 actions please

Pendin Fust |

Pendin's serene look upon his face and words to the bodak, "Prepare to witness the perfection demanded by Irori" belies his next furious assault. Almost too quickly for the eye to follow, he attacks the bodak with a veritable flurry of blows. Feet, hands, and elbows all fly from Pendin to strike at his enemy...
Flurry of Blows with 1 ki point expended to make addt'l attack
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24 +3 Brass Knuckles Damage: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2) + 5 = 8

Substituting last blow with Improved Trip 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (17) + 19 = 36
Assuming some of the blows succeed and the Trip succeeds
Pendin looks down at his foe and says, "That is perfection."

Drake Slips into the shadows
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28 finally adding in my cloak since it wasn't added in before
as he slips into the shadows he moves to where he can see the undead pretty well, out of the engtanglement zone though but try to be within sneak attack range for next round

Nexumis |

Nexumis watching in amazement as Pendin moves his limbs in a flurry so fast its almost confusing. Young one, you move of Elven grace and speed, your gods must favor you for sure.
Nexumis makes his way within range of his next spell, reciting ancient elven words of life and death,
Having one of these things on our side might be a good idea? I think it would, Yollandra, Take hold of this abamonation! Take this creature and erase its mind, from now and forth it is MINE!
Kyrsil Stay back for now, I'd not have your look upon their gaze.
=====================
Move: Move to E39
Spell: Nexumis points at the Bodak at C42; casting Command Undead. Will save of 20 or be commanded by Nexumis.
I assume I appeared near where it says "Door way" on the map. So, last round I moved to the edge of the green area, and this round I moved half-way down the 'green hallway'.

Nexumis |

Ahhh, I didn't know that. Here is what Nexumis does instead, he wouldn't take the chance of being immobilized...
Nexumis watching in amazement as Pendin moves his limbs in a flurry so fast its almost confusing. Young one, you move of Elven grace and speed, your gods must favor you for sure.
Looking down the hall he also notices its full weeds, brush and not just normal things, but moving things... I'll not be stuck in that, he thinks to himself...

This realm has the oddest manner of beasts, luckily they don't seem to be too much for us, though I hope we don't run into any large groups of them. Whatever they did to Mr. Shields doesn't make him look all that well.

Lady Zaldane |

on phone and still no map gonna work with what I got, I'll post this action first and then if I need to do any checks leave a post and I'll get back on tonight to respond
