Right, posting a plan here because typing it in Gerns voice would just about kill me.

I think sending scouts while others wait at Zalaras is dangerous. If they get seen, it's a long way to run for help. It also gives Lamm and his cronies lots of time to prepare.

I think we follow a similar plan though. The less sneaky types wait close by. Near enough to see the place but still hide in the shadows or alleys. Our sneaky types can then scout, knowing we are within simple run distance to help them. If it all goes well, we can get a signal to move in and attack from the best place.

Gern is not a sneaky type. Heavy ish armour, and Dwarven speed does not a sneaky person make. He sees really well in the dark though, so he can pick up whatever signal is used quite well.

That also works. We've got three folks at Stealth +5 or higher, multiple people with Knowledge (local), and multiples with Diplomacy for gathering info. It's more how we want to allocate our resources, at this point, within a given time frame.

I think I've made it editable, but it's my first time messing around with the google drive, so it might not be. I'll roll everyone's initiative, but you can take your actions whenever. I'll sort them out into a big, hopefully somewhat cinematic experience once everyone's moved. If you don't take an action in 24 hours, I'll bot you, but I won't try to get you killed.

Probably not needed, unless you're as worried as Gio is. Still, if you want to delay 10-30 minutes, it can be used untrained based off of Charisma. It's opposed by the other person's Perception, so if you're stealthed and disguised, it's basically 2 Perception rolls to recognize you.

Same here. It doesn't matter to me who initiates the roll, as long as it gets done.

Sometimes you doing the rolls for everyone else takes a long time though DM. I have no worries with you rolling for me, but don't do too much work. PbP is lots of work for DMs at times.

I find putting dc's in and providing spoilers is fine when lots of folks need to make the roll. If it's only one character, then I often roll for them and just spoiler the result.

It is almost a must for you to roll things such as perception, init, and saves when not in comdat for a pdb. Other wise it gets bogged down waiting for some one to post.

Also, I have two questions:

Since the alleys are very dark, could Litsy possibly see something, if she perfoms a Perception check?

Does she also have a stealth bonus because of the darkness?

The alleyways are fairly dark, but it's possible you could see something down them. You wouldn't get a bonus to stealth, but those who might be watching would get a penalty on their perception checks.

I was thinking that her family-- before they left-- would have put her in touch with someone in the Cerulean Circle, and the contact was hers to maintain (dumped half the starting gold in "fees" for searching and such), as well as figured that she was working under them with part of what she made in the day going to them in return for some affiliation.

I may not have a post between Wednesday and Sunday night, due to Thanksgiving. I'll be visiting my grandparents, and might not have access to a computer for a few days. I'll try to post if I can, but if I don't, it's not because I dropped off the face of the earth.

Gern is off map and waiting patiently at the moment. No real need for an in game post as a consequence.

Scouts, don't forget to have a look at the locks and take a guess on whether you can pick them or not. If we can remove the chains from doors then its easier to go in.

Also, check how big the windows are. If someone can smash a window in and go through that way without much trouble, then we can have multiple entrance points at once, without bottlenecking in the doors.

College aye. I got my nursing degree in June, and now I'm going for my Bachelor's of Nursing. I was taking four courses this term, but my load is a lot lighter from this point forward.

sorry for my delay. Was at a wedding the last two days, and the website was down for me before that.

Gern is a not really aware of the situation with Giggles by the way. At the moment he just thinks the group has controlled the fight out there. If he finds out Giggles was involved in his brothers murder though, he will kill him without doubt or regret. Especially if Giggles is standing free with his weapon on him.

I'm letting folk know in case they want to resolve it more peacefully.

I can suggest out of character getting the half orc to walk the kids to the nearest coppers and handing himself in. Although, remember that when the charm wears off, he'll know he was magically induced and he won't be all nice and friendly anymore.

If you manage to tie him up or otherwise secure him, Gern won't kill him. His code won't allow him to kill a helpless person.

Also, if other plans come up, I'm not going to make my characters personal agenda turn into some kind of inter party conflict. Please don't feel limited in what you want to do because of Gern's background.
