I typically put characters ahead of those they interrupted assuming they preempted the character as they acted, but I am fine either way. Anyway, great to have you back and sorry for your loss.

I kind of forgot they started out on horses.

Oops. I guess Jarra is still on her horse in the middle, but Vorgya, Zalatha and Darkral and Korungra dismounted during negotiations phase.

I don't think it's really that meta, because when you hit something you can get an idea how bad you've hurt it. I won't do it all the time, but I'll usually at least let you know when something is "bloodied" (half damage).

Ah, excellent. I was actually considering asking how beat up he looked. I agree, it doesn't tell us a lot more than we should be able to figure out by relying on our experience.

I have to say, it disconcerts me a little that the rogue has more hit points than Damien does :P Do you roll for NPC HP by chance?


These NPC statblocks are actually straight out of a Frog God module with a couple tweaks to spell selection. But yeah it looks like they gave Zalatha nearly max hp.

Damien, Janna cannot target anyone in the mist so she has a burning hands at the ready once she has an idea of a target location.

I did actually call out the opponents I could see on my turn.

Now that I've actively attacked Zalatha, can Janna not at least see which square I'm attacking into? She should be able to get a fix on him at least.

Oh, and note that the elf should also be visible to you now. He tried to counterspell Leo which would break his stealth.


The elf was never stealthed, he never even attempted stealth. He has been visible to all since he reached the edge of the mist.

Everyone knows what square Zalatha is in, and some idea where Korungra is.

Pretty much right now let's say if the token is on the map, everyone knows what square that guy's in. But I think Zalatha and Korungra are attacking vs flat-footed AC, unless your name is Damien or Jerrid.

ok but still Janna double moved to get to you so will have to wit till next round and will probably attack the clearly visible one that is throwing things at us.

Hey DMG, how do squares in the mist like Zalatha's work? Is he hidden from all sides or does he only have 20% miss if attacked from the corner (Directly above Gorer for instance)?


He has 20% miss if adjacent, and 50% if ten feet away (in the mist). That spot you're talkin about has only 20% miss.

Indeed, it's hard to deny the power of a focused summoner. Just takes a couple levels to come into it's own!

Any Freya yes! Kev is rather scary! Damien just tends to be louder :P
