welp folks, it was fun! lol.

Well if anyone runs after you tell find you down in the mud with a broken jaw so not too bad ^_^ at least the "bed"is soft

Belo runs after Daniel, only stopping momentarily to grab his Healer's Kit from his backpack. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 to see if Belo can find Daniel in the rain. If Belo finds Daniel, he makes a Heal check to see if he needs medical attention. Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
so a few things
1 you have not really had a conversation with Daniel thus far so why would you run after him... 2 there is no way you would be able to here the sound of his jaw braking over the storm So...if you could give me something as to why this would make sense for your character. to do this... then I will decide how hard it is to find him.
sorry but I'm a bit strict about things like this...

Lets all go upstairs and reminisce over good times with the Professor. I'm sure we'll find Daniel still stuck in the muck tomorrow morning.
assuming of course that the dog who had the arm earlier hasn't become hungry again

Actually, belo. Daniel and carter are the only ones that actually had a sit and talk at all lol.

That Other Guy |

He is a spirit medium. He could explain it by certain leanings or nudges to go that way after Daniel due to his prescient nature. Spiritual spidey sense. An explanation like that would get cheesy if that happened for every decision, but I could see that working organically here.
My 2 cents

GM Bone Man |

OK I'm going to sleep hope to see a good answer soon...and I really am loving the RP so far ^_^

Okay. I'll admit. Belo's urge to seek aid for Daniel was metagaming, and I'm sorry. I just wanted to find a way to bring us back together in the inn. Bone Man, if you wish to erase that post, I wouldn't blame ya. OOC, I know there are spirits about, but Belo at this point, can't detect them, only commune with them.
And I've forgotten how ADDICTIVE pbps can be!!

Zagathoth |

jeez... i go to work for 5 hours and miss 27 posts (just in discussion)... i hate to think what i'm going to find tomorrow afternoon (but also love it a little)

Until people are talking in the Deputy's room, Hector will be hiding under the table... because reasons...
Then, if people do actually congregate upstairs, Hector will attempt to slip in as described.
If things end up wildly different than how we recently projected, I will abandon and retcon my last IC post.
We should also try not to get too out of hand with the gameplay threads' pacing. It can be overdone, and when it does get too fast it can really draw away from the gameplay and roleplay.
This is like 4 whole cents now.

Zagathoth |

The biggest problem with the crazy high post rate is when some of the party can't keep up... if we can all agree on an acceptable range (recognizing there may be busy times when someone is below that, or in game events focusing on one person that merit extra posts to get back to party action) everyone can enjoy the game...
How does everyone feel about 1-3 (gameplay) posts per day?

Radriel Shadowsbane |

Just to comment on the high post rate in discussion at least. Several of the posts were humorous (at least to me) posts about dogs with arms and PURPLE LIGHTNING!
So no one was missing anything significant if they couldn't find time to post.
Gotta say I'm enjoying this so far and hope to keep the momentum going even if it slows down a bit. . I'm in another pbp and it is moving at a glacial pace. . Very much enjoying the beginning of this journey...

I have had this happen to me sometimes with some of my other pbp I'm in. Usually I just make a post with sections blocking out what my character did at specific points. Since I don't want to hold a game up when other players are manly having a good role play experience.

I think we all know there are times when epic posts or a rapid post rate are just not going to happen. . For example if If you see me posting via wayfinder it's probably going to be a short post just trying not to hold everyone else up and keep the story moving forward. I think this group will find a comfortable pace naturally. . That said loving it so far

Shenanigans! Daniel shall tame this beast!

GM Bone Man |

I won't continue the game until zaga can post but dose anyone else go with him?
-Posted with Wayfinder

GM Bone Man |

Yes, this has already become loads of fun. I'm only concerned with the gameplay threads' pacing, right now it's pretty good but if it snowballs further it might get out of hand for more than just I.
Sorry but what do you mean "snowballs"?

GM Bone Man |

Lol OK you all free to rolepay how you want for the night, I'll have my next post up after your characters sleep....dun dun duuunnn ^_^

GM Bone Man |

Well No one said they woke you but OK you are awake you can't talk to we'll since your jaw is still broken sooo

I have potion, I can fix that >.>

GM Bone Man |

Potions don't really fix broken bones just mend wounds just like you can't use a potion to put your arm back on if it's cut off

GM Bone Man |

Now high level magic can but clw ..no. Unless you have some kind of spell or if anybody else does that can give you fast healing 1 even for a couple of rounds it would help set your jaw better than the shattered stated in. so looks like you're on a soft food diet at least for a couple weeks lol oh and until your jaw is fixed, you're at a -4 for bluff and diplomacy
Edit
I'm not being mean honestly this is what I rolled on a system I came up with about 6 years ago for my 10 D 10 rolls when I GM ^_^

Not like he was gonna be using either of those often anyway. As long as it don't scar. He already has one scar. He'd rather not have a hoof print scare as well

Daniel Valiros |

daniel gonna put the beat down on a bed rail...

The Dragon |

Yech. Realism.
Being fascetious, of course. But what is the point of having loot at all if we can't carry it? Gotta get one of those portable holes and bags of holding at the earliest opportunity. I don't suppose the inkeeper has directions to the local Magic Mart?

Daniel Valiros |

1. Am I allowed to try and grapple with my feat.
2. I think Carter missed the intruders post.
