Tudfwlch leads you through the busy fields toward the dense Blakemoor Wood. You leave your shields and gear on your tethered horses at the edge of the forest. You equip your armor, lance as a longspear, sword, and gauntlets. Blaidd accompanies Bran. Sion leaves Rhianwen hooded on his horse, because there’s no where to fly in the thick forest. Tudfwlch wishes you, ”good hunting!”, with a smile and returns to the manor.
During the afternoon, the only one of you that does not appear well practiced at hunting is Raedwald. You have no time to make any comments, because you find the trail of a boar, which is an excellent omen for those pagans among you. You track him for a good hour and corral him in a thicket. You encircle him while he hunkers down facing Blaidd. You know the sun should be setting in a couple of hours, but it continues to be that almost shadowed twilight of an old, thick forest.

15 feet move to K-17, I think. I'm never sure how to track encumbrance and movement in combat and such. *embarassed*
Bran of Tisbury
Raedwald, you should have a 20 ft movement. Your base move is 30 ft. per round, modified by wearing medium armor to 20 ft. per round. 20 ft. is two squares in this terrain. If you double move you can move 4 squares or twenty feet.
Bran of Tisbury
Not more than the armor would unless I'm misreading and you have more than 153 pounds of stuff, in which case I would recommend leaving more things on your horse.
Jubal Breakbottle
I'm also weighed down further by the stuff in my backpack, am I not?
I think one of Raedwald's issues is that the cavalier kit includes the common riding kit, so he appears to be carrying around two saddles, double feed, etc. He can drop weight there by rationalizing the doubles.
I'll get a round 1 summary up shortly

The dragon had been hunting the boar for hours before the humans interrupted, so it hunted both. Now, while the humans are distracted by the boar, it decides to grab the furthest one for supper.
Yellow eyes briefly flicker from the canopy in a nearby oak tree. Suddenly, a large reptile, as green as the surrounding foliage and at least six feet in length, leaps out and pounces on Sion while gripping the old, stout oak. It has a dragon’s head filled with sharp teeth, and two arms ending in grasping claws. A cloud of greenish vapor wafts from its gaping maw. Fortunately, only a back claw manages to rip through Sion's armor.

Blaidd, barking madly, tries to bite out the pig's throat. The brush of the forest's undergrowth is too thick, and scramble as he does, Blaidd's teeth come nowhere near pig flesh.
