Ace gives Dom an exasperated sigh. "I know she's your sister and all, but do either of you think I was serious when I said my dance moves might hypnotize you??"
Coming out from the side of the spot where Vai appeared, some 5 or so seconds later, Tryko'Sam says, "Hey -- don't blast me or nothing, not stalking you, well, not ...yeah, I followed you. Hope you don't mind."
He steps a bit further ahead and looks around at the spot before glancing back at Vai.
"You okay, babe? You seemed really pissed back there. Good points though, so .. came to apologize for my high and mighty self back there. I just didn't ... got pissed, she was making jokes and shit, about some poor thing, living thing, I barely knew. That ain't right. Where I come from, we put psychopaths like that in jail, or in some cases, really beat them the hell up so they can't hurt anyone else."
With a chuckle he adds, "You got wigged out too, right? I mean, I wasn't alone back there in the thought of what was shared? Quite the temper there, Ms. Shyness." He grinned again.
"Mind if I join you here? I figure-- knowing this place is all magical and shit, I'll probably be tracked down so those two yahoos can make their point again." He shrugs, expecting that to happen, hands in his pockets though, waiting for her response.
Zilla unlike her normal self she seems to be taking the horse nice and slow. Just keeping near the group. She smiles as she watches the group rush around on the horses but she seems a bit lost in thought.

"No no, it's not that I didn't think it was a joke. It's just gets a bit old hearing a person talk about how great they. Even when it's concealed in a joke." Dom tries to explain as understanding as he can.

Vai had just barely sat down and begun to take deep, calming breaths when Tryko'Sam arrived. She had already let most of her anger go, only displaying a bit of annoyance at having been followed, but she doesn't get up or anything, merely opens her eyes and looks at him, continuing to take those nice deep calming breaths through the nose.
"And /I'm/ sorry for losing my temper like that. It's something I'm working on." Vai definitely sounds sincere in her apology. She's sitting in a half-lotus meditation pose, her skirt all tucked properly to protect her modesty. "If by wigged out, you mean scared, then yes. Tarka did scare me... but more than that: I know what it's like for people to be afraid of you just for what you are. I'm lucky to have a place like Avalon where, for the most part, no one cares what I am."
She sighs, the last of the heat leaving her, though she doesn't stop her breathing exercise, except to speak. "It didn't sound to me like... she even understood what death was, not really. Which is why I said what I said to her. She needs to learn the price of her own life."
"Come on, sit down." she says, gesturing to the grass next to her. "I'm not going to blast you, promise. Just... uh... don't touch me, alright? I don't like it."
Yrrin headed toward the flux of light, and when a pop of light nearby deposits an elvish woman, Yrrin starts heading that way.
And then Tryko'san pops out as well and starts jabbering
Yrrin pauses a few steps away, scanning for alignment on the pair
"Is there any way to go up there, or should we try the other door?" Tyrrin called over from the entrance to this room, still keeping her posted watch on the passage behind them.
"Well I can control how gravity affects me, and Tybs here can both teleport and levitate, so the two of us could carry everybody else up there"
"You don't understand just like everyone else." Is his only parting remark as he picks her up and flies away as quick as his wings will take him.
He uses his tail to have the arrows direct him to 'an empty room' and he follows them as fast as his wings will take him.
As he flies he hums the song that Tarka liked. It usually calmed her down.

The arrows take him to those unmistakable, blank white rooms.
He closes the door behind him with his tail and he lands softly.
He continues humming as he tries to calm her down.
"Easier than that."
He chants out a short spell and his amulet glows.
A brick of water appears and is immediately shifted into a ladder anchored to the floor and next to the trap door.
"This is why I love the minor magics."
Dave puts his foot on it "will it support the heavier members of the group?"
"You don't need to use it first of all, Mr.Gravity." he pokes him in the belly. "Second, it can lift a normally dense humanoid, if I focus maybe more."
"Well what about our lycan friend,"
"Myeh. Easy. He's a wolf, not a bear. You'd be the only one that worries me. Super condensed material and all. Unless Ghalen's armour's made of Adamanite or something, I'm good."
"My armor is alot lighter than it looks, no worries there. Do you need to be the last one up, or can you scout ahead?"
"They only stay for about two hours so let's go!"
After ensuring that all the ponies plan on following plans and all her friends know how to steer she sets them off on a course around the lake. They move at a quickish clip. Fast enough to be fun, but slow enough for the new people to be able to handle it.

After the meeting with Midori's folks and Ephebe, Ryuzo ports back to Nala's classroom, and not finding her there, leaves a quick 'sorry I missed you' note, and heads to watch over his kids.
Clone 1 is actually in the cafeteria eating, while clone 2 is of watching the clan war, making sure they keep their peace. A third clone spawns, in the middle of a hallway, and talks to a woman(?) who has stepped out of the wall. He bows, like Ryuzo would, and they both teleport away...
Walks outside aways to enjoy a cigar, then decides he might as well hoof it into Kuros to buy some more...
"Good. I can be first up but I'll have to be next to the ladder while people climb to keep it stable."
A little annoyed that no one had seen fit to answer her query directly, Tyrrin nevertheless determines the answer to her question by listening as the conversation continues on.
Eventually she floats casually over to the group, still keeping an eye behind them, and maintaining the concentration on her illusion. "My flight spell is still active, though I sincerly doubt I'd be a concern here." she says with a wry grin. A elf of her height and slightly underweight.. probably no more than 110 pounds.
"No, you're good. You've got the lady like figure going on and all that."
With an inquisitor's sense motive he can easily tell that this is a compliment and not flirtatious at all.
Kitty is nice, not stupid.
"Well then that's fine I guess, I'll go first," he then begins to walk up the wall, across the ceeling and down the hole unless stopped,
Flashing Dom a grin Ace quips back "I'll remember that, next time I hear you go on about how great your music is or how great your uh, extracirricular prowess are"
Having frightened off most of the edible animals in this area, the dark hunter moves silently among the trees to another area, looking for another errant hare to eat...
"Thank you, Tybalt. I'm sure you are considered an attractive feline as well." Tyrrin says sincerly. She didn't have any complexes regarding her body image - she knew that she could use to eat a little more. Ghalen hadn't seemed to mind last night, though.
She waits for David to report back on what he found.
"I might if I didn't look like my body gave up half way through puberty." He replies with a bit of self depreciating humor.
"Ya see anything?"
"Being nubile is a trait which many humanoid races consider attractive - youth is sought-after. At least, among females. Perhaps that is something you can use to your advantage." Tyrrin says wryly, but her smile belies that she's enjoying this conversation.
"Youth is all well and good, but most decent places have laws against 'seeking after' those of my apparent age. It's also rather hard to be taken seriously as a kid."
His point makes itself as a squeaky voiced 'child' speaks like an adult.
tarka silently sits in the corner. She stopped crying, but really doesn't know what to say or do.
Melody stops playing mid-song.
if all you guys are going to do is argue then I have better things to do.

"It varies from culture to culture." Tyrrin says easily. "Many cultures and races consider women adults when they first enter heat or have their periods. You should ask Jeran about how the Lycans do things at some point Tybalt."
"Either way, my point was this: you /aren't/ a child. Your particular image will appeal to some more than others. People make assumptions based on their experience - since you look as a child you will be treated as one - that just means you have a hurdle to overcome. It is not insurmountable."
"Anyway, I'm sure we are boring both Jeran and Ghalen out of their minds, so let's focus."
Lang rides along as best he can. keeping pace and occasionally sprinting on ahead just to have some speed.
This really is fun He says to nobody in particular.
He seems quite happy especially when his friends are also having fun.
"Haaaaaaiiii!" Midori calls back in response to Lang, bouncing on her pony as she was, galloping a little ahead of the pack. She truly looks like she's enjoying herself and finally releasing the last of her fears as she hugs close neck of her pony, her shoulder-length black hair streaming out behind her.

He pauses.

He asks, slightly off put by her usage of exclusively female culture rules.
"I loved learning to ride horses with my mama back home. Don't get too far ahead!"
"Yes, Tybalt. I know you're a guy, but examples with women are the easiest to find. Really, gender shouldn't matter, but it does."

Lewis stands off to the side. Ephebe would help better than he could.

Ephebe sat down next to Tarka and patted her back gently, trying to be comforting.
"Death can be a touchy subject to a lot of people. It is important to try and be sensitive to the beliefs of others. But there are so many different beliefs that it can be very difficult. You shouldn't have to apologize for being born, but at the same time, it's respectful to the person who died so you could live to express some respect and gratitude for their sacrifice. Does that make sense?"
"OK. Just making sure. Cause that's happened before. And I agree. Traditional gender roles that society has moved past shouldn't still be around. And yet they are. Ce la vie."
He then returns to point and waits for Dave's report.
