Asch Redgrave |

Dom hung his head at the mention of the empire. "I have heard stories of the empire's tyrrany. It's like a horror story you would tell around the camp fire. I won't going to the front lines but I would be happy to give medical aid to the resistance. If you would well give him my offer as well?" Dom asks her as he takes Tami's hand hoping her gental touch would drive away the awful memories of the survivors of an empirial raid.
"Yeah, only these stories are real.

Phaezeriel |

Phaezeriel narrows his glowing silver eyes at Ehos, ::Ehos, did you know you have picked up a disease somewhere? Let me try to fix it.::
Phaezeriel concentrates and once again, healing power flows into Ehos driving the disease before it until none remains.
Manifest Resist Toxin augmented to cure disease.

Ehos Denulia |

Memory refreshed. :) As far as his abilities, he has none to 'detect' anything peculiar about her. His knowledge skills are what he was referring to.
::Perhaps she did not charm you, then. But it is unusual for a mortal to be as weak as you were after just one night of sporting.:: Phaezeriel pauses for a moment, ::I do not know Jaiye well, Ehos. I do not know how to advise you in this. I would suggest you get yourself cleaned up though. You are a bit, mm, disheveled.:: He seems to think for a moment, ::Is Jaiye the forgiving, understanding type?::
As he finishes speaking, the healing energies finish their work, and Ehos is restored to full health.
::Either way... she deserves the truth, Phaeze. I doubt she'll want much to do with me after this.:: he says stoically. Whatever Ehos may be - cheat, womanizer, etc - one thing he intended not to be, obviously, was a liar. That much is clear.
Ehos' headache and soreness vanish as Phaeze's healing energy washes through him, and he stands a little taller. ::Thanks.. appreciate that. I dunno... I don't /usually/ get so worn out either... but I wasn't robbed or anything. I don't know. It struck me as weird too... do you think I should confront Kara about it? I know where she works after all.::
The young elf helps recover the wounded as much as possible, depositing them in the infirmary, though he still seems a bit sluggish about i, perhaps just thoughtful.
::A... a disease? Of what nature?:: Ehos asked worriedly. He glances briefly at the birth control charm... well it wouldn't be the first time a girl he'd slept with had been... well /that/ wasn't a pleasant thought.

Tyrrin Denulia |

Tyrrin looks irritated at that, but quickly exits the storm. 40ft fly speed will get Tyrrin clear of the storm in 1 move action.
She then focuses her spell energies into preventing further directed magical attacks at them.
Casting Silence, targeting the offending bird. Has a cast time of 1 round though, so will complete at the start of Tyrrin's next turn.

Phaezeriel |

Damiani, what kind of disease was it? Ehos, it also removes fatigue/exhaustion.
::Jaiye does deserve the truth, but perhaps hold off just a bit telling her. Something does not seem right about the situation, and I would like to take a closer look at this Kara, as well as where you woke up. I found life essence missing, probably from resurrection or the actions of the demons, your body was weakened, and you were diseased. Lets see what else you are afflicted with, shall we?:: Though there is concern in his thoughts, Phaezeriel is also clearly teasing his friend.
Phaezeriel opens his sight to the auras around all things and studies Ehos.
Phaezeriel manifests Aura Sight twice and studies Ehos for three rounds. This will reveal auras of all four alignments. He also manifests Reality Revision to mimic Arcane Sight spell. This will allow him to see any magical effects on Ehos.

Ehos Denulia |

Unless there's some other effect in play: Ehos reads as Chaotic and Good alignments, and Arcane Sight should pick up the tech silence effect on him (magic/tech transparency), as well if used to determine casting ability: 14th level arcane caster.
This causes Ehos pause, and he stops in his task to let Phaezeriel examine him. ::You don't think... you don't think she was acting maliciously do you? I didn't sense any of that from her. She just seemed... well. Horny.::
Phaezeriel probably knows that Ehos is notoriously bad at reading people: he's impulsive with his actions in general, and not patient enough.
Meta-translation: Phaeze knows that Ehos has no ranks in Sense Motive, and not much Wisdom to speak of. His testimony regarding her intentions should probably be summarily dismissed. xD

Tyrrin Denulia |

Yes, she can get out, but the raven isn't where he was.
Not spotting their adversary, Tyrrin listens carefully for any hint of a spell cast, reading her hands to counter the spell if she's able.
In that case, readied action to attempt a Counterspell.
Perception (to hear any hostile casting): 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (6) + 32 = 38
Spellcraft (necessary to ID the spell in question): 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (15) + 31 = 46

Dom Waverider |

Edit
Dom looking slightly perplexed. "Resistance? Caster? I don't remember any wars going on in this region. And caster isn't that just a Fireleg or something. Is that just what they call them around here?" Dom really didn't seem to be keeping up with the conversation but he was trying.

Ghalen Kiln |

As soon as the bird disappears, he checks his various sensors and motion tracker to get an idea if it's even still around...

Lang Fei |

Grim Jr. wrote:Grim splutters "bwa ha? I I don't know what you are er or were talking about" he gets up"Let's just look for a way out of here," Ignace says, sounding strained, the air around her having heated up to an uncomfortable level again.
deciding it best to give Ignace a little space right now,
Lang starts to search the area for signs of another door.Grim can you look for magic again maybe its hidden like the other door.
perception: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (13) + 26 = 39
if that turns fruitless Lang will then check the statue of Voltair for any markings that could be helpful.
perception on statue: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (11) + 26 = 37

Phaezeriel |

Though Phaezeriel's fewatureless silver eyes are hard to read, Ehos has developed a little skill at it. It seems that Phaezeriel's gaze has stopped its scan somewhere around Ehos's waist or groin. Then the eyes flick back up to his face. When he speaks, his thoughts are so tightly controlled it is like listening to the voice of a computer, ::Ehos, we should go back to Avalon now. We will get you cleaned up and then see what we can see about this Kara person. I can keep you invisible until we have discovered what really happened, then perhaps Jaiye will still enjoy your company.::

Melody Waverider |

"Well, to begin with, a schedule change is part of the deal I'm about to offer you. I think that you definitely belong in advanced mechanics. But it does come with a catch. Professor Rosa resigned unexpectedly and effective immediately last night. Something about a prior obligation. I already have a full plate and am supposed to be pulling stuff off my schedule right now instead of piling more on, so it's a bit of a problem having the PE classes revert back to me. So I need help. That's where you come in. Well, you and one other student. His name is Tryko'Sam and he's doing this as more of a work study kind of thing. I need the two of you to work together to keep the sim rooms functioning properly and to keep coming up with new scenarios to program in. At least until we can find a more permanent solution. So what do you think? Are you up for that?"
Your offer sounds great, up to the point you said Tryko'Sam. I can try to work with him if can call me by my name and not "Hun" or Toots" or whatever term he thinks is cute.
Melody thinks for a moment.
I guess I will try. besides I really want to work with some of this stuff in this lab
so the answer is Yes, Melody still has reservations about that Sam character at the moment but maybe he has changed?

Tyrrin Denulia |

Tyrrin silently curses her lack of necromancy, and calls instead on an abjuration spell to attempt to block the enervation.
Using Dispel Magic to counterspell, requires a dispel check: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35. Result Counters any spell of Caster Level 24 or below.

Asch Redgrave |

"This is a caster." Asch says as he pulls out an overly large gun with a snap a hidden compartment and a shell pops out. He catches the shell while it's still in the air. "And this is a caster shell...here don't move." He says mischievously as he slams the shell back into the caster and points it up into the air and pulls the trigger sending a bluish white bolt of lightning into the sky. "Pulling the trigger activates Tue spell inside the shell. That was a #12 shell or a lightning bolt spell."

Tybalt Baneko |

This blasted sleet. It didn't hurt but it was sure annoying as heck. He had a plan though.
With a bit of push and pull on the snow and his wall, he knew where they each were. That was enough.
With waving motions and spell mutterings a giant sheet of ice stretched from where his wall was to the side of the mountain.
A brand new icy roof cut the torrent of hail of from its source above them. After the remaining hail falls past vision is restored and they look for the giant bird.
another ice wall. Horizontally anchored to another and the side of the mountain.

Ghalen Kiln |

Yeah sleet storm would seriously screw with radar too...didnt think of that.
Cusses under his breath.
"If you see a target, call it out..."
Ghalen says over his helmet.

Dom Waverider |

"This is a caster." Asch says as he pulls out an overly large gun with a snap a hidden compartment and a shell pops out. He catches the shell while it's still in the air. "Pulling the trigger activates Tue spell inside the shell. That was a #12 shell or a lightning bolt spell."
Dom watches the shot send off the spell intrigued. "Very cool. I'm sure it makes it so much hard for counterspells to work against you. Myself I'm not to great with magic. It's just the normal style magic. Nothing like your caster. How do you fit your spells into that... shell you called it? Is it like enchanting or something?"

Phaezeriel |

::Uh...:: Ehos replies confusedly, and somewhat worriedly, but following Phaezeriel as they return through the Headmaster's gate, back to the school. ::Why invisible? Is something wrong?::
::You do not have to be invisible, but it would keep Jayie from seeing you if she is in the same hallway you are. Unless you would rather tell her what has befallen before we do some investigating.:: Phaezeriel leads the way through the portal.
Once they and Yrrin and all the wounded are back at Avalon, Phaezeriel speaks to Ryo, ::Headmaster, all the wounded are at Avalon, thank you for the portal.::
Then he turns to Ehos again, pausing until the portal is closed before he speaks, ::Ehos, I did not want to say this before we were back behind the wards of Avalon. You have been marked by a powerful demon. The mark indicates you have been selected to be corrupted and harvested. We need to find someone holy who can help you to remove it, and we need to find out if Kara is involved.::

"Ace" |

Ace whistles at Asch's display "That's so freakin cool. I gotta learn how to do that"
In response to Vai "Yea, I've dealt with heavy handed, tyrannical types before, and I will again. Either this Empire or somebody else trying to wipe out those who are different."

Tybalt Baneko |

A stiff Breeze starts up and gently pushes at the snow.
If it's magic I probably can't. If he is just physically stirring snow up I probly can. More of a "who's control is stronger" kind of thing. Its just that my control is never stronger. :)
Casting Breeze instead.

Jeran Darkclaw |

I now have the image of a flying wolf attacking a flying raven...
You forgot to include that it's a surprised flying wolf....
Jeran flounders for a second before he realizes what's happened and then tries to run across the air towards the raven to grapple it.
Fly check:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Miss chance just in case the fog provides one: 1d100 ⇒ 88
Grapple check: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (16) + 27 = 43

Ehos Denulia |

::Jaiye could smell me if I was in the same hallway as her... I think that would just make it worse Phaeze.:: Ehos responds to that in an easy way, trying to make light of the situation. His tone fails him somewhat in that regard, and he runs a silent hand through his tousled blonde hair, before Phaeze drops the bomb on him.
::A.. powerful demon? That marilith maybe?:: Ehos responds, sounding utterly shocked. He sits down hard on the ground in shock. ::... Why me of all people? I'm not powerful or wise... or all that pure really.::
Ehos glances around the infirmary, somewhat stunned at the news. ::Wasn't that guy fighting the Marilith holy? Why didn't she mark /him/?::

"Ace" |

"Or I could just watch you a few times Asch, I'm a fast learner, to say the least He says with a chuckle.
"Not sure if she'll let me, but I would totally love a lift from dragon Vai. Its not often one gets to ride around on a dragon"

Tybalt Baneko |

Suddenly the bird feels a sharp, cold pain attacking it from the front and then suddenly the back.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
ugh. Grapple. Can this happen just before? No travel time for it. Using shift.
1d8 + 5 + 8d8 ⇒ (4) + 5 + (4, 4, 2, 5, 6, 1, 7, 4) = 42
1d8 + 5 + 8d8 ⇒ (4) + 5 + (6, 6, 8, 3, 3, 7, 7, 7) = 56

Tybalt Baneko |

just one per attack because claws are natural, but yes. Mostly sharp. Forgot to add the plus one cold to each. Also count as magic and silver vs. DR. :)

Agarthian Storyteller |

Since being grappled makes it easier to get hit, and he was difficult to hit anyway...
Held in place by Jeran, the raven tenses up as Tybalt's attacks land harshly. Still held by Jeran, the unconscious and bleeding raven begins to shrink and shift.. into a boy that can't be past his early teen years. A boy Tyrrin recognizes from here vision.

"Not sure if she'll let me, but I would totally love a lift from dragon Vai. Its not often one gets to ride around on a dragon"
"Last time someone tried to use a caster without training they blew apart a practice dummy with a healing spell...he was a doppleganger if I remember." Asch says as he slides his caster back into its sheath.
