if the first hit knocks him out the second doesn't happen. :)

::Jaiye could smell me if I was in the same hallway as her... I think that would just make it worse Phaeze.:: Ehos responds to that in an easy way, trying to make light of the situation. His tone fails him somewhat in that regard, and he runs a silent hand through his tousled blonde hair, before Phaeze drops the bomb on him.
::A.. powerful demon? That marilith maybe?:: Ehos responds, sounding utterly shocked. He sits down hard on the ground in shock. ::... Why me of all people? I'm not powerful or wise... or all that pure really.::
Ehos glances around the infirmary, somewhat stunned at the news. ::Wasn't that guy fighting the Marilith holy? Why didn't she mark /him/?::
Phaezeriel's thoughts are at first a little surprised, ::She can smell...of course she can. Duh. Well then, yes, that would make it worse. Let's see if this Yrrin character can help.:: Then he shakes his head at the mention of the Marilith, ::From what I understand, these marks require more time to apply, and I do not think that the Marilith would have been strong enough to apply it. Though perhaps if she were acting as an agent, she could have. However, it is right there.:: Phaezeriel points just below Ehos' hip.
Tybalt Baneko
did he look next to dead after the first? Could just auto roll ones if it would knock him out instead of kill him. He would do this too. Might even drop the sneak damage if that would work better. He would really try to not kill the bird person.
Tybalt Baneko
............. What he said, but in my voice. *sits in corner for not thinking of that earlier*
"Ace"
"Well, clearly, he wasn't nearly as good as I am. Course I need to see you do it a few more times before I can pick it up, but it shouldn't be too hard"

Ehos lifts his shirt slightly on impulse, pulling down his pants a little as well, to see if there was a physical mark or just a magical one.
::Wait... a marilith isn't powerful enough to do it? Aren't... aren't they like the generals of the Abyss or something?:: It's Ehos's turn to sound surprised, looking at the ground and running his hand through his hand again nerviously. ::Why the hell would such a powerful being target me?::
Repp, the Bleached
Repp had rather enjoyed his morning, walking about the school as he had done, and so returns to the cafeteria for a bit of a early lunch, spotting a familiar face across the room, he smiles and approaches.
"Good morning, Tryko'Sam!" the albino gnome says brightly, going out to him. He seems in quite the cheerful mood, a big smile on his small face.
"How was your weekend morning? Learning lots, I hope?" he says casually, looking over Tryko'Sam's food choices and debating what he should eat himself. Seems to be in a very good mood this morning.

Occuring after whatever interaction may occur with the Divine Magic teacher:
Having finally finished his preparations for the day, Vare sits a moment to compose himself, going over what he wanted to say before he cast the spell.
He's still sitting in the teacher's lounge, Rena laying nearby in her general lounging mood. Once she gets excited she's hard to keep down but most of the time... laying about is her M.O.
Vare casts the spell Sending, targetted towards the woman he had spent the previous evening with, and what had ended so abruptly.
Miss Anahita, I apologize for my actions last night. I regret my initial reaction. I am concerned for your safety. Please inform that you are safe.
He waits tentatively a few minutes for a response, not sure if she would even want to respond to him at this moment.

Doing a bit of a double take looking at Repp, Tryko'Sam appears to take a few moments to remember who Repp is and then nods saying, "Hey there... Repp, right? Headmaster door waiter? You good now?"
Scratching his head for a moment, more of a hand through hair gesture, Tryko'Sam adds, "Yeah-- it's, been ... odd? But, I guess that's where we are at, right? Magic place. Kind of crazy. I should get caught up on some of this... maybe there's some videos or something I could watch. How about you, man? how goes?"
His use of 'man' wouldn't exactly be appropriate, but then again, Tryko'Sam's not thinking 'fantasy culture', he's clearly an outsider in his mannerisms.
Tryko'Sam has just something that's easy to eat, perhaps a quick small sandwich or fruit. Nothing specific, really. His mood is ..glum, nothing overtly happy or sad on the scale of things.

After the ten minutes to prepare and cast, there is a simple response heard via the spell.
Be not concerned. I am safe. I have no anger towards you, Mister Vare, at this moment.
Her voice would sound a hint, officious, as if to not share any emotion.
Repp, the Bleached
"Indeed, the Headmaster did eventually arrive. I have had a pleasant morning. I've been introduced to at least one more friendly young lady - one Melody Waverider - as well as the enchantments Professor. Beyond that I wandered the school... it is quite facinating how it changes and shifts constantly. I enjoy it. Keeps one on their toes." Repp replies jovially, his good mood somewhat infectious. "Nothing bothering you I hope? Too much magic perhaps? I'm.. not sure what a video is, but I'm sure there's plenty to learn hereabouts."
"Lots of people would be willing to teach you, I'm sure. I'm not a wizard though, sorry." he says matter of factly, not having sit down yet... which means he's staying about a little taller than the table. Repp doesn't seem put off overmuch by Tryko'Sam's odd speech patterns. "Don't worry about it too much, 'man'. You'll get used to it I'm sure."

At the mention of Melody, Tryko'Sam nods and says, "Yeah-- ran into her, bit of a fire cracker that one. Seems to have her panties in a bunch or something. Least, that's how I remember it." Slight bit of a frown though, as if he's trying to remember it well. With a shrug after wards he says, "All good though. She seemed to be tense about something or another-- who's to say, she got bossy and walked off. Some people just feel entitled, I suppose. Maybe I'll get to know her a bit more."
Not really having much to talk about regarding anything magical, Tryko'Sam then asks, "So, what's your plan for the weekend? You hit town yet? Some serious fight went on there-- big ass snake woman, six arms. Whirling walls of swords or something, big glowing armored guy, like twelve feet tall bleeding profusely. Wild. Hopefully the team that went there to stop it got it resolved. Couple fires too."
One thing that would be noticed, he's fairly casual about the discussion of a 'fight' or seeing crazy abilities going on.
Repp, the Bleached
Heading to bed soon, take that as you want.
"Is that right?" Repp says curiously, glancing uncertainly over at the food line, as if he wasn't sure he wanted to eat all of a sudden. "Six-armed snake woman you said? And a few fires? It seems we missed the excitement. Ah well. Pardon me a moment, gonna have some food."
Repp does walk away for a couple minutes, taking a few smaller pieces of food. This and that, though it should be noted that he doesn't seem to eat any meat.
"As far as plans for the weekend... well, nothing as of yet. Still getting to know the school. Did you have anything in mind?" It's almost as if Repp was 'falling into' a method of speech that might put Tryko'Sam at his ease, attempt to adapt his vocabulary. "I think Melody is a bit uptight.. but she's got mental problems or something. That's how I met the enchantment Professor. Enchantment is all mind magic.. they had to fix her brain or something. I didn't get the details." While Repp did seem curious about the battle in the town, he didn't feel any need to rush off there or anything.

Tryko'Sam didn't walk off as Repp went to get his food and returned, and listened while he explained the Melody thing.
After a moment of thought, he says, "Huh." Mister Articulate.
>> Might explain a few things. Hope she's better. Wild. <<
"I see, thanks. Well, mentalists ...they can be-- yeah, tough road to walk." Going quiet on that one, a bit of a stern jaw, looking off briefly then back.
"Not sure what's up for me next, might unwind a bit in a swim, or just go explore. I suppose we'll meet again though, right? What are you going to study here?"
Dom Waverider
Dom just shakes his head. "And thus the return of the Ace we know and love." He teases giving Ace a playful nudge in the process.
Turning his gaze to Vai. "Perhaps we should check on the others. There was others there, like Fei?" He asks curious as to where he is.
Ghalen Kiln

A little boy? What is his stake in this?
Tyrrin flies up to where Jeran is holding the unconscious form of the boy, something of concern on her face. "He... he was in my vision. My dream." she says, looking concerned at him. She ensures his wounds won't cause him to bleed out with a simple Orision.
"Oneiro, what do you make of this?" she calls down to their leader.
Vai Sunwake
Apologies to the folks waiting on the shinobi bit to be advanced. Will work on that later this morning, promise.
Vai smiles at nods to Ace, and then looks at Tamina, Dom and Asch. "Well, I don't mind carrying a couple people back if they would rather not teleport. Flying is one of my favourite things to do. Fei is fine, Dom, don't need to worry about him right now. I'm wondering if we should stick around more though, and help clean up from the fires.... assuming the townsfolk don't run screaming again." she finishes in a somewhat wry way, but there is also a touch of doubt in her voice.

Maybe I'll try my hand at becoming a powerful wizard." he finishes with though last words said in a deep(er) voice with a somewhat 'big arms' display, his arms held above his head as though he were about to call down some mighty spell. He laughs easily afterwards at his little joke.
"I might go down to the town and see if I can help in some way, but not before I finish lunch." he says with a friendly smile, genial and happy at that moment, the evil-looking red eyes aren't moving around the room or studying anything, other than his plate.

Vare sighs after he recieves the response. "Mister." he says aloud, which causes something of a look of concern from Rena. Overly formal and stiff. Despite what she said, about not being angry towards him, things were obviously going to be different in their relationship. He silently curses and stands, heading out of the room. Rena's head comes up and then she tags along with him.

After several more minutes, Nanami breaks away and goes to join the other two members of the squad, across the bridge and away from the Amateru. Unless Kitty goes over to her, she remains there until Ryuzo returns with the scrolls.
Meanwhile, Midori's parents are attempting to be polite towards Kitty and Michael, having bowed and formally introduced themselves - Koizumi and Yuki Tsuyomi, of the Amateru clan. "Are you attending Avalon as well?" Yuki asks of Kitty, though her eyes keep returning to her children, some ten meters or so away.
Midori Tsuyomi
Midori had watched Hew-kun leave to 'give her and her family space', with something of a sad look. She was still cradling her older brother in her arms, even though he was considerably bigger than her.
What's the duration on that sleep effect Ryuzo?
"Hew-kun, please come back." she calls to him in her melodious voice, needing a friend right at that moment.

Yrrin's mind is a rigidly ordered place, that while powerful, has no psionic capability whatsoever...
"Hello Phazeriel, I would gladly assist with this." his eyes move over Ehos, and focus in on the mark through his clothing... "Since neither of you is injured we should allow the professionals to doctor the ones who are while we move to a quieter place."

Just so you know, the way telepathy works in this setting: generally, if someone opens a telepathic "channel" to you, you can reply telepathically, even if you can't normally communicate that way. Just so you know, Yrrin.
Not sure what the mark looks like, but I imagine it's quite complex.
Fortunately, Yrrin was still in the Collective (if I'm not mistaken), and so the mute elf is able to communicate with the warrior in front of them easily. ::Ehos is my name, pleasure to meet you Yrrin.:: Ehos says gratefully, his confused and worried emotions bleed through the telepathy somewhat. ::Is there any particular place you would like? I have a sound proofed room we could use if quiet is that important. We would have privacy there as well.::

Your offer sounds great, up to the point you said Tryko'Sam. I can try to work with him if can call me by my name and not "Hun" or Toots" or whatever term he thinks is cute.
Melody thinks for a moment.
I guess I will try. besides I really want to work with some of this stuff in this labso the answer is Yes, Melody still has reservations about that Sam character at the moment but maybe he has changed?
"I'll talk to Sam about that. I'm supposed to talk to him about the details later this weekend and that doesn't seem like an unreasonable request. And it will definitely be better if the two of you can work together."

deciding it best to give Ignace a little space right now,
Lang starts to search the area for signs of another door.Grim can you look for magic again maybe its hidden like the other door.

if that turns fruitless Lang will then check the statue of Voltair for any markings that could be helpful.

Jaiye stretched and got up from her desk. Her stomach was growling letting her know that it was lunchtime. She headed for the cafeteria and smiled brightly when she saw Ehos in the hallway. She walked towards him, her smile changing to concern.
"Are you okay, Ehos? Your clothes are all dirty and....is that blood?!" she asked examining him for wounds. "Should you go to the infirmary?....." her voice trailed off.
She had always been expressive. Never more so than now. As she got up next to him and her sensitive nose told her everything she needed to know her ears drooped low and her tail hung limp. You could practically see her heart shatter. Her lip quivered as tears began forming in her eyes. Before any tears could fall and before he could stop her she turned and ran, shifting into her hyena form as she went so she could run faster.

Ehos, Phaezeriel & Yrrin -- this post's for you!
It is at this moment, that Phaezeriel, (assuming his Arcane Sight and such is still active) notices the following:
The mark on Ehos glows brightly for a moment, and flares-- illuminating the area and room, then is mysteriously gone. With the Arcane Sight, he can tell that some manner of transmutation occurred, high level of it, but it's impossible to know what or where the energies went. At this point, the mark near Ehos' groin is gone.
For Ehos, there's that 'shattered' sensation of love lost, perhaps coupled atop his own personal feelings.
Yrrin would feel an 'aura' of corruption, and then it is gone with his sensing of evil, from roughly where Ehos is.
Please note-- unless you are 'seeing' with Arcane Sight, you cannot 'see' the Mark on Ehos with normal eyes. It requires magic. I'm not sure if Phaezeriel can 'send images' of what he sees, but, such is the nature of the mark.

Ignace, I may need your help here. but I may involve doing something you are very uncomfortable with. and if you don't want to I'll understand. but we may need to light a fire in that bowl. and I don't have the ability yet to produce flame through fire bending. but you just might be able to.
