Hew had barely heard Grim over his own thought. Rather than stop Hew slowed his pace. Till grim caught up. "I'm not going back there not just yet." He growled without even looking to Grim. Soon the two found them selves in the heavy blades class room. AS soon as Hew sees the practice dummies. He holds his hand out to tell Grim to stop as he transformed the sword and struck the dummies. It took only a few seconds for three of the dummies to fall apart completely. He yelled as he struck the dummies. Any fear he had before a had became overwhelmed with a rage.

He... he has wings like you do, but they aren't made of gold. Aniki has the same wings." Midori speaks with a sort of melody to her voice.. though right now it is more akin to a harmony, as if seeking to harmonize with David.

"no I can summon things, it would try to gore you, but it wouldn't sucede, if you were not up to it I could rear him in, or I could summon some undead, try and test the spirit's claims..." he snaps his fingers "maybe I could summon that ghost into a juju zombie and then he couldn't hide things behind partial answers, I could just command him" the young reaper looks fairly excited

The nurse takes the scanner away when Ardiente mentioned that she's uncomfortable. Stress was linked with all sorts of badness after all, and inducing stress in patients isn't something a healer does. "I understand. We have a few other students like that. I'll get a scroll and one of our clerics." With this said, the young triage nurse bustles off to the nurse's station to complete his tasks, leaving Ardiente standing at the foot of Anahita's bed.
It's obvious that the 'strange technology' is what throws Anahita somewhat off, but not necessarily glowing and blinking beeping things. It's the uncertainty of fluids in needle devices, or the like. So much so, she actually pops off the 'bed' too, to stand near him.
Coupled with the lack of hearing, she would have used the pad and pen, or pointed to it, while going through this to write out questions and answers. Presuming all that happened, and when Ardiente finally announces cleric 'magical' healing, she looks much more relaxed and content. None of that crazy technology here, thank you, is apparently her issue.
Awaiting the return of the nurse, or someone else to manage the healing from a scroll, Anahita reaches over and runs a hand along Ardiente's back, as if stroking his spine in what can be an affectionate gesture, mouthing the words, "Thank you." She does this as well for his arm, showing merely affection and gratitude, while smiling warmly.
Perhaps it was a good thing she didn't 'hear' the one person commenting about 'birth control charms.'
Once the cleric does show up, and casts the Remove Deafness/Blindness on Anahita, she does that jaw 'opening ear passage' motion, and looks around, then back up to Ardiente in her normal voice, "You are my hero, Ardiente. I am most grateful for your assistance and will seek to return the favor."
Additionally, she thanks the cleric type, but there's no touching there.
Oddly enough, she doesn't do what most humans would when turning back to face Ardiente, (or humanoids), which might be hug him, but she does maintain that affectionate gesture along his arm again. Her eyes are alive with happy thoughts, clearly.

melody likes the idea of modifying stuff which is evident with the jurry rigged speakers and amps she pieced together from old spare parts. seemed to work good enough though.

Vai beams, like you wouldn't believe. She even starts literally beaming - glowing ever so slightly at this praise... or perhaps the whole room seems a little brighter. Both Tamrin and Fei can pick up her eye glass a bit, but her smile could light even the darkest corners of the universe at that moment. This was the Tamrin she had met when she had woken that first day. This was the man who had encouraged her to have her own life again.
This was her Dad.
