"I can indeed speak to the beasts of the land, as well as the avian who call the sky their home. I can even speak to the spirits of plants, and other things found in nature. Everything has a spirit, from the tiniest of pebbles, to the mightiest mountain. The roaring river, the breeze through the trees, as well as all creatures found in the natural world possess a spirit. I can talk to them all." He says with a touch of pride in his voice.

Silinrul |

"I'm willing to bet you have a spirit, yet you are part machine. Not much more different between you and a rock, but I understand your skepticism."
Sadly, I need to head to bed. Gotta get up some what early tomorrow for a follow up X-Ray on my toe. Thanks for the RP so far, Ice. Will pick later, once I am back from the hospital.

Tryko'Sam |

"Wait what? Slow down a sec. The infirmary was attacked too? And what happened in town? Gah, I'm so lost after yesterday..."
"Some attack on the infirmary-- blown up, along with some dragon attack or something? As for town, nothing wrong with it last I checked, a few days ago, for me. Crazy stuff happens a lot here, no? Then again, it does seem to be a nexus for oddness and drama. Pretty sure the infirmary is ok now though. Some students fixed it up recently. Should be okay."
Tryko'Sam stretches in his seat and asks, "Not sure where Bradley is, and to be honest, I don't recall meeting him, so, can't really speak to that."

Tryko'Sam |

That brings Rena up short, looking at Tryko'Sam strangely, then over to Maya. "Oh... um. How much did your forget of your time here when you did what you did? Cause we were with Bradley this afternoon." she asks, worry shifting momentarily from Bradley back to Tryko'Sam, meeting his eyes.
"Wait, he was the thin guy on the roof with us briefly, right? Didn't we only-- well, you guys more than me, just hang out with him? Memory fart there. It's been a few days, plus, barely know the dude."
Tryko'Sam shrugs and smiles sheepishly.
"See, if you had a cell phone with him, and hands, you could just ring him up, or use the arrows I guess and track him down."
He sounds helpful.

Rena, the Companion |

"Oh... I guess it's been a while for you. Sorry, I forgot." she returns, also somewhat sheepishly, standing down her alarmism, though her tail is still flicking anxiously. "I think I will go look for him though. I'm glad you have your memories back now Tryko'Sam. Come find me if you need me."
There is a slight nuzzle from Rena, then the snake creature turns to Asha as well. "And I'll see you in our room tonight, okay? Stay safe." and another nuzzle.
Not nearly as affectionate with Maya and Tybalt, Rena still smiles to them and says. "You guys too. Have a good day if I don't see you."
And then the snake-creature floats off, heading through the door, which she is glad to find automatically slides open for her. Out in the hallways, she puts her tail on the wall and calls forth the arrows to find Bradley.

Dom Waverider |

Tyrrin slumps slightly in the aftermath, before straightening again. "They're dead." she says matter of factly, looking at one of the corpses. Her voice is slightly hollowing, as if pushing away sadness. "We can't rest yet. Professor Yrrum, is the Virus airborne? Dom, we need that water contained, now. We can't let the disease spread back out."Then she brings the pen back to bear, comm signal opening again to Professor Sunwake. "Professor, Dom was able to bend the virus out of the victims, but they are still dead. This area needs to be contained as soon as possible, and my magic is running very low. And... once that's over... well, we don't have enough resources to bring these people back. We'll need Priests to put them to rest properly. Tyrrin out."
Dom solemnly nods to Settro. "Or you could cancel the spell. Your choice." He calls to Settro in a wary voice.
After hearing Tyrrin's orders. "Yah I'll need something to contain the water in, something big. He looks to the blackened water.

Vickory West |

"I know some great techniques for causing pain. Would like me to show you one before we get down to the whole fighting thing? Id be happy to you know, its so rare for a torturer to have a willing subject, or a like minded audience. I know this great spot right near the heart where you can pierce ever so slowly to great effect."
Bluff, Diplomacy: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 281d20 + 25 ⇒ (6) + 25 = 31
only partially bluffing, will happily pierce that one spot nice and slow before suddenly twisting the blade into its heart. Also, not a torturer, but did get to know one quite well who always gave that same complaint, figure it would over well with a lover of pain.

Tybalt Baneko |

"See ya. Good luck finding him."
Tybalt waves as she leaves.
"Crazy stuff is bound to happen in a school packed with magic kids, but this sounds a lot bigger than just powers going wrong. It doesn't sound like a student did it. I guess the school is back in order now. I haven't seen anything broken since I got here, other than people's spirits. Between that and the sun..."
He trails off.
"Ugh. Ignore me. Let's just change the subject. Are we ready to go?"
Tybalt seems to have a habit of ignoring what he considers bad things. He never commented much on Asha's previous conditions and now he tries to move on from the harshness of what happened yesterday.
It's probably not for a lack of caring, obviously he's compassionate about that, but he seems to not want to discuss past things he can't help fix.
He downs the rest of the cream and waves the stand away.
He walks over and sets the glass in a sink or on a bar, whichever there is.
The pad and pen were stowed back in the bag and his pocket.

Maya Rhys |

Watching as the butler opens the door out for Rena, as she leaves, Msya looks back at the remaining pre-adults and says, "I suppose I shall bid you three farewell, for the time being."
She rises up and puts her glass down while doing so. "Tryko, if you discover anything off, regarding your memories and the fix we conducted, find me. Otherwise, I'll be in touch soon. A pleasure chatting with you all. I shall remain here for a duration yet."

Tybalt Baneko |

"Oh. One last thing before we go. Maya, you're really good with the sim room. Do you think you could help me build the program for Dave's birthday party? It's on Saturday."

Silinrul |

Silinrul chuckles at Tural's question "No, it doesn't quite work that way. At least, perhaps not as you might think. The pieces of broken rock would still possess its spirit, but it would be fractured and shattered as well. Such a spirit would be near useless."

Silinrul |

"Not at the moment, no. Thank you for your help."
Once they enter the lunchroom, and he spots Jai and Ehos talking to a roguish looking young man and a girl who looks to part fiend. He walks over to them, motioning for Tural to follow "Hey sis. Ehos. This Tural, who is apparently some sort of machine angel or angel machine. She was kind enough to assist me in finding you"

Maya Rhys |

"Oh. One last thing before we go. Maya, you're really good with the sim room. Do you think you could help me build the program for Dave's birthday party? It's on Saturday."
"I would be most happy to assist, but, do you feel it is wise to use a simulation? Why not prepare a party beyond the walls of these rooms, I'm sure there is plenty of time to prepare and in doing so, you might make new social ties with others. Either way, come find me to discuss if you still desire assistance. I do enjoy parties."
As she says this, the room switches, instantly, into a modern city skyline apartment setting, with a view of water out one facing, and water, bridges and more city out the other. A bay region, with green, blue and buildings. Her clothing has changed as well to a business casual outfit, blouse in light cream color, charcoal grey skirt, stockings and minor heels. Her hair is up in an intricate set of buns now, and she has light make up.
"Until we meet again. Do be well and take care of one another." She smiles once and looks out the impressive view, though there is a hint of sadness as she considers it.
Tryko'Sam opens the front door out at this point, the school hall awaits.

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt pads away from the sink and quickly hugs Maya on his way out.
"Thanks. I'll think about it."
He gets to the door.
"See ya later." He says with a smile as he ducks out the door.

"Neither extreme heat nor cold have prolonged negative effects on my exterior. I can land on the surface and investigate the anomaly."
Perhaps afterwords, I should work on implementing the case for the information pads into a kind of full body armour. It is not ideal for making in large quantities, but perhaps a plate mail could make it efficient. File thought chain into file INOV.
"Great, you can go find out what's going on. Report in as soon as you find out anything....but....be respectful while you're out there. This place isn't supposed to be open to any non-firebirds. We're trying to respect that as much as possible, but this is something a firebird can't safely deal with."

Sadie Jhiwoon |

Belsayv
As Vickory's storm of Fire begins to sweep through the room, both Yrrin and Vai dispatch a foe each, and Sadie's own blows strike deeply against her axe-wielding opponent... perhaps a little too deeply, as blood sprays out from his wounds, splashing into Sadie's face.
Sadie will need a DC26 Fort Save or be poisoned, losing 1d4 Con.
Fort save: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
Sadie shrieks as the blood burns her as it touches her skin.

Sadie Jhiwoon |

Belsayv Combat
Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the hammer-handed N'gathau has decided that Sadie is too frustrating to fight, choosing instead to charge away after Yrrin, a hammer-handed blow coming down hard on the holy warrior. Fire burns across his skin.
Sadie gets an AoO from that charge.
Warhammer attack vs Yrrin: 1d20+26 Damage: 1d8+17The axe-wielding and now ever more bloodied warrior tosses his axe aside, and instead tackles Sadie, aiming to smear more of his poisonous blood on the young teenager, and eager to watch the life slowly drain out of her.
Another AoO for Sadie,
Grapple: 1d20+27 if succeeds, then make a DC28 Fort save vs. poison, or the duration of the poison extends (and the DC becomes higher). In addition, since he is on fire, Sadie will take 4d6 damage each turn.
First AoO:1d20 + 28 ⇒ (12) + 28 = 40
Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14Second AoO:1d20 + 28 ⇒ (11) + 28 = 39
Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Sadie managed to duck away from the grapple, slipping out of the demon's grasp. With the constantly shifting forcefields whirling around her, it was sometimes difficult to tell exactly where she was.

Fieri Sunwake |

Ardiente once again feels the hard stone of the teleportation room floor beneath his feet - having returned with Fieri for the umpteenth time in as many days. "We're getting there." he says, somehow still standing straight after the constant marathon - he had only really had that nap in the kiln for the last 3 or 4 days.
Even if he's standing straight, his tone belies a certain weariness. "How are you holding up Fieri? Do you need a break yet?"
Fieri shook her head, trying to hide her exhaustion. "There's no time for breaks. We only have an hour or so left. I can keep going. It's only a little bit longer."

Bradley Urquardht |

After bidding an affectionate farewell to her friends, Rena heads through the halls in search of Bradley. The arrows lead her to a small courtyard off of the kitchens where there was a compost heap. Asha Soleil |

Rising up, Tryko'Sam stretches after placing his emptied drink down.
"Until later then, Maya. Ping me if needed. Off to socialize and hang with new friends. Lead on, peeps."
He dusts himself off, moving to the door out, preparing to open it as needed for exiting.
"It was nice meeting you, Maya," she said shyly as she followed the other two out of the SIM room. She seemed content to follow them to the infirmary, although she still kept a wary distance from Tybalt. She liked him well enough, but well...ouch.

'Hello Tural.' flashes up on Ehos' datapad in easily read white letters, in the Common language. He decides not to overly question what an "angel machine" might be exactly - he had been at Avalon long enough to know that it didn't really matter what people were - it was what they did that made the difference. Usually anyway. 'Come, sit. If you're hungry Silinrul, there's food just over there.' Ehos continues to display noiselessly with his pad, motioning to the food line-up nearby.

Since Sadie managed to escape the grapple, she only has 1 dose of the poison. So Fort saves at the start of every one of Sadie's turns, until she makes 2 saves in a row or 6 rounds total have elapsed (or someone steps in the cure the poison). You also still have an action Sadie, that was just attacks of opportunity. :)

There were alot of bodies around them, but they couldn't stop now. "The ice may not hold the virus for long, and my Walls of Force are expended. This is a bandage fix at best. Bradley appears to be sleeping in the compost. He looks to be hurt or sick or some combination of the two.
Bradley's day isn't about to get better as suddenly a huge feathered snake-monster with wings is descending upon him, poking at him gently with her massive snout. The massive monster opens it's mouth, massive razor-sharp teeth looking as though it's about to have Bradley for dinner! From somewhere very close nearby, Bradley hears the silken-soft voice of the girl he has a crush on, saying his name in a worried tone.
Yet Bradley is not eaten, and once again he can hear Rena say his name from... the snake monster?
Forgive the artistic license! xD

Rena, the Companion |

"Bradley are you alright?" Rena asks worriedly. She couldn't exactly lift him out of the pile without using her teeth, and she knew from earlier that Bradley was afraid of things with big teeth. Instead she was trying to gently move him out of the compost pile with her snout. "How can I help?" she asks, panic beginning to creep into her words.

"Pretty glad that memory thing is fairly resolved. Seems we can repeat it if necessary too, so I'll be my usual self, more often. Talk about crazy coincidences running into Maya, but that's normal in my world. At least, when it did happen, we realized how and moved on pretty quickly. There were a few, wtf's back in the day, but all in all, nothing we didn't stress over too much."
As he walks along with Asha and Tybalt, it would appear his clothing from the SIM room remains as it was just moments earlier.
"So, Asha, can you remember your mental state when you did your ghosting trick? Sounds to me you subconsciously picked up a defensive ability after all those years of abuse in your tower with the servants and staff. If, I've found, you can call up the mental muscles to repeat the action, you could manage to ghost out on purpose. I knew a fellow who could alter his density, seems as if you could be doing similar, or a variant of such."
He's casually walking along, occasionally peeking over while talking.
"Oh yeah, by the way, Tybalt, if you wanted some assistance with SIM programming, officially, me and that blonde musician chick, Mel, was it? We're tasked to be the go-to folks. I think her side of it is more technical, repair the hardware type, could be wrong, while I'm the visual artistic type. I've already whipped up a few pre-made scenarios and am planning on releasing 'em for public use, but, got side tracked. The system is pretty wicked though, maybe even self aware, so you shouldn't have a problem. Happy to help if you still want. Dunno about the blonde though, so you'll have to ask. I seriously doubt she'd say no if you ask her."
He shrugs after saying that, looking on ahead as they walk along to the infirmary.

Tybalt Baneko |

Was Maya warm?
Tybalt is walking against the wall, upside down on the ceiling, to maximize space between him and Asha, paying more attention to his and her pain than to Tryko'Sam's dislike of magic.
"Cool. Thanks. Mel is pretty nice. If we do it in a SIM room, I have a team of people that are good with it. You guys are invited too, by the way. Unless you have something against Dave. It sucks, but some people do."
He continues to walk for a moment before realizing something.
"Wait a second. How are you still in those clothes? I thought they were sim room stuff."
He seems really confused, but resists the urge to inspect them, getting the heavy feeling that Tryko'Sam is a really "personal space" kind of guy.

Dom Waverider |

"Sorry no demi-plane, but I have to agree we need to see if there is anyone that wasn't here that is still infected." He replies with a serious look. "I would help you with the water, but after using water that way the chi flowing through it is replaced with inert chi."
