You know, for the first time other then marcell, i think I'm gonna say "screw combat effectiveness" and just make something neat.
Because you all say power isn't important, and I'm already sidelined in the plot anyway, i have nothin to worry about.
So I'm taken dami's advice and not worrying about it.

I'm getting an idea of how put the charecter together, but the lack of magic or "special" abilities is making it hard to find something that would actually allow the charecter to grow and progress.

Backstory almost finished, fleshed out and hopefully at least somewhat original....

Asha is just a normal firebird. Mostly. She can't channel fire. No other known abilities. (I haven't even decided what her abilities might be yet.) Her coloring relates to her humanoid appearance. (pale skin, white blonde hair, blue eyes)
As a note there are more firebirds in the current generation of youngsters with little to no fire ability than ever before....inbreeding has some interesting results. ;)

Actually I could totally use suggestions for Asha and what abilities she might have. I had her story pieces planned out, but never really thought about what abilities and/or classes she might have. At the moment she has no knowledge or ability beyond basic reading and pointless etiquettte.

He has a huge into score but obviously has no ranks in any applicable (relatively) know ledges. (Thus far.)

I think this is appropriate given that our good Tryko'Sam has lived, by my estimation, billions of years.

Intelligence as a stat doesn't denote memories, skills or much else. Besides, I just wanted his base 'smarts' to stand out without any real reasons. Genius, without the schooling, so to speak, to show for it.
Plus he's got that stat for other reasons. My point about all knowing is still valid. :) Makes for easily bored people. And boring situations. Besides, stats? Rules light? Does it really matter?

Edit/add: Plus systemically speaking, his brain operates at insanely god like levels- it /might/ stun telepaths if they connect with him! (Hopefully!)
