Is the champion port a spell-like? Cause of so, it requires the same concentration as normal casting.
Either way, posting combat from my phone sucks and my comp isn't setup yet. Vai is panicking instead of thinking and is struggling in vain to free herself. Skip me for this round.

The champion port is a supernatural ability. Hence how Nala keeps popping up in wherever she happens to think about since she hasn't got the hang of it yet. You just have to visualize where you want to be...so it's totally natural that someone who is panicking would have trouble with that part.

Do you have any interest in playing shadowrun? someone i know is putting a campaign together. this question stands for anyone who is in milwaukee, or close enough to it that they would want to travel for a shadowrun game.

Actually, this is something I've been meaning to say for a while.
"No, Ryo, that's not right. I saw it in James's dreams before. I tried to explain, but it sounds too crazy. See, reality is layered, and in one reality you fell out of the tree and in another close layer you didn't. You can never effect the timeline you come from, only parallel ones. The trick is steering things to the one you want. Also, we have to defeat the time demon in all of them or she just comes back over and over. But how do you defeat someone throughout an infinity of possible realities? I haven't figured it out yet and neither has Ephebe. Who is still sleeping by the way. I guess she's not really a morning person."
Now, that's way back from the original Agartha game, but with the more recent explanations of timelines, it appear that Jiminy is messing with time when ever he warps reality, because each timeline is actually a separate timeline.
Triplets. Similarities. You dealing with it yet? ;)

I wondered when you'd figure out how James was messing with reality. Yes, he pulls things from other timelines into his own. It's always worked like that. :)

Probably true, since there is nobody with Fei who would brag about what he is doing right now....assuming that he succeeds, of course. ;P

I will be gone for a few hours playing archery. Here are Phaezeriel's planned actions:
Assume that Phaeze will continue to use healing and restorative abilities as necessary. In this situation he can achieve some truly amazing amount of healing per round; he can hit 930 hp per round with very little effort. He has the power Psionic Revivify, so Ryleh can bring people back from the dead with no permanent negative consequence, or he can if their body is brought to him in short order.
Once the away team returns he will move to Nasima and restore her eye.
See you all again soon.
P.S. I am loving this arc. A Lot. Well done!

The arc is definitely a good one. But will it be finished when Khoda is gone? I suspect Nasima's father will be disappointed at the very least.
Also, based on when certain events take place in-game, I have an idea for another free-form game. It will be of significantly lower power-level though, but still centered around kids learning to control their abilities. I don't want to spoil any more than that.
The whole co-DM we've got going on here will be used in my free-form too, since it's just so much more fun for everybody!
Too bad I have no idea when I will actually be able to start/participate in said game. Darn you RL, always getting in the way!

Sorry for my lack of posting this weekend. My digestive system has decided that it hates me. And apparently decided to punish me for doing stupid things like eating by making me spend the weekend in the bathroom. Fun times. Feeling a little depressed about missing out on the beautiful weather outside.
Anyways, catching up now.
DB3, I am intrigued by your idea and look forward to whenever you actually get a chance to implement it. : )
I've been toying with the idea of restarting an old game that I really botched the first time around. Somewhere between normal and free form. Definitely starting at low level. I've learned a lot about how to DM since then and I think I could handle it without totally losing it now, but I'm not sure I have the time to devote to it. And I don't want to pull time away from Avalon. We'll see. I think part of my issue was how I timed the game. I think it would work better if some of the NPCs I had as commanding officers were contemporaries instead and the night watch was still in really cruddy shape as opposed to starting to look almost repectable. :)

Which, actually, might help a lot.

I got that a lot when playing with E7. Mostly just because we were both really good at improv. :)
In the current game I often do have some knowledge of what's going on, but not always. Keep in mind, good at improv. Unless it's with DB3, in which case we just seem to think at the same frequency or something. :)

Strange. I've always had a problem drinking tap water because of the taste around here, but recently I've been just fine with it.
On a completely unrelated note, I've been spending way too much time in IRC. My hands keep trying to /me things. And when I'm on IRC, they try to use BBCode.

Drinking plain water has always been a problem for me. More than a cup of water at a time and it honestly makes me nauseous. Weird but true. I buy carbonated mineral water to combat this problem.
I have the same problem. I make a lot of juice. As for the other using different formats I have the same problem but from this mmo I play.
