Assuming Nareth uses detect magic...

There is a magic aura on the door.

"It said no time. Time gone. Gone. It lied. It spoke the truth. Did it? Yes, friend. No, it lied. Time forever gone. No time."

Male Human Bard(Archaeologist) 1

Robert stood askance from the secret door, "If it only opens from the inside, perhaps brute force would be in order?" He gestured at the dwarf paladin, indicating it might be best if he were the one to try.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Certainly, but I would like to try our other options first. You know, path of least resistance and all that..."

Tired of waiting, the Dwarf tries to push the door.

Pushing on the door is like pushing against a stone wall; nothing happens.

"Hehehehe. Time to go. Go time go. No. Stay. Go. It can't go. It must go. Time flies. So it said. Did it? Yes, friend. No. Said else. Ask. Answered. Yes. No. Said time. Said no time. No time. NO TIME! NO!"

Surprise Round - Robert and Cockroach only

Robert's turn.

Knowledge: Nature DC 11:
This is a giant hissing cockroach. Just like their more normal sized cousins, they are incredibly hardy, and can keep acting when most normal creatures would be unconscious.

Knowledge: Nature DC 16:
Cockroaches can sense vibrations on surfaces they touch, giving them tremorsense.

Knowledge: Nature DC 21:
Giant hissing cockroaches are able climbers, and can even fly, albeit clumsily.

Reflex(DC 15): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Bug is now prone, I believe. Also front edge of grease should be where the bug is, so that melee people can get up in its face.

Do you want to move on to something else, or continue trying to figure out this puzzle? You've found one other unopened door on this floor, as well as some objects/areas of interest you may want to revisit due to relatively limited inspection:

1) The room with the falling rocks.
2) The rift in the ground in which centipedes hid.
3) The statue that answers questions.
4) The iron chandelier with a magic aura where it attaches to the ceiling.
5) The room that filled with blood.
6) A room filled with bats, the floor covered in guano.

Note: I'm not saying there's something to discover in those rooms, just that you either decided to leave and return later, or didn't spend much time with them.

Alec is ready to move. "Well, I'm not the clever one, but I've run out of options. If none of you have more I suggest we leave. Maybe we can return to that room with the guy who answers questions and ask him how to open this? By the way, haven't find the liar yet?"

Robert bristles at the dwarf's rough slap, blustering and muttering dark words. Composing himself, he replies to Alec, "That seems an apt change in tact, an excellent idea. Let's be off then."

He moves off from the group, gets as far as the doorway, then stops. He remembers he is not the heartiest member of the group and gestures for the others to step forward for their usual marching order.
