Lorenzo darted into the room and lunged for one of the maggots with a smooth fencing lunge; spearing his rapier right through its body and leaving it barely able to fight!

Zolrak Stormborn |

Zolrak strides into the room, breaking to the left to stay out of the fighters' ways, and calls a spark of lighting down onto the maggot Lorenzo skewered, in an effort to finish it off.

The maggot hit by the dual-punch of Lorenzo and Zolrak seems to convulse, before a deluge of disgusting liquid bursts from it's mouth, covering Lorenzo in the foul-smelling goo.
Need DC 13 Fortitude save from Lorenzo or be sickened for 1 minute.
Maggot #2 bite at Nareth: 1d20 ⇒ 15 (hit) for 1d6 ⇒ 5 damage.
The other maggot bites and Nareth and manages to sink its grasping mouth into the warpriest's leg, opening up several jagged tears.
Fly bite at Alec: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 1 = 18 (miss) for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 damage.
The fly flutters down from the ceiling and bites at Alec with an oversized protuberance from the vicinity of where it's mouth should be, but the sturdy dwarf just manages to catch the attack on his shield.

Lorenzo was not quick enough to evade the spew the maggot spat at him, but he was iron-stomached enough to not let it affect his fighting ability; or so he thought. Lurching for a moment, he almost blunted his rapier on the hard stone floor.

Zolrak calls another spark of lightning, but misses again.

The wounded maggot bites at Lorenzo, but he nimbly moves out of the way. Nareth is not so lucky, however, as the maggot again manages to bite him, this time lunging up and hitting him hard in the chest. Nareth collapses to the ground, bleeding badly. The maggot lets out an unsettling chirping noise, and the other maggot turns towards the fallen man. It's immediately obvious these creatures are intent on feeding.

The fly hovers in place and again tries to poke its protuberance into Alec, but is foiled by the dwarf's armor.

I believe we have a Breastplate available, by the way. Alec is wearing the masterwork, but I don't think anyone took the other one.
Seeing his ally falling, again, Alec diverts his attention from the fly and brings his sword with full force on the maggot striking Nareth, slicing it in half!

With the hard to kill trait my stabilization penalty is only half of my negative hp. Figured in a campaign this combat based it would be good to pick up.

The minor blast of thunder causes the last maggot to burst. With only the fly remaining, Lorenzo stepped towards it and thrust with his rapier. The odd angle of thrusting into the sky at the flying creature troubles him, however, and he misses.

For a character built around a luck mechanic, its pure irony that this is the worst I have ever rolled with any character ever!

Zolrak unslings his greatsword and steps forward a bit, then focuses another tiny burst of lightning at the fly...

After a minute or two, making sure Nareth is indeed not dying (at least not dying as much as he had been...), Zolrak looks at his conscious companions. "Does anyone know how long it is until we can enter Haven again? Or do we have the means to heal Nareth back to functionality?"

The fly is not dead yet, according to my counts.
The paladin is obviously worried about Nareth catching some kind of disese. "He's ok, right? Do you think he's going to get any disease from those bites?"
"When we leave, we cannot return for 12 hours. Then, IF we find a door that takes us there, we're good to go. We got a healing wand. Can you please help Nareth, Lorenzo?"
