Yes, this is the right place for questions. The cast are rather quiet in light of the turn out; if Victor speaks to them he may learn more. Robert isn't there.

Just a heads up:
I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning for the south where I'll be doing some actual table rpg play for a long weekend (yay!). I probably will not be able to post much (if at all) from tomorrow (Friday) until Tuesday.
Spencer's on his date, what are the rest of you up to together or separately? Victor is going to rent or buy a space to work, so we can start RPing that if you like. Lucian's watercolors are coming along: does he want to continue working? Go for a critique?

Lucian will continue working until fatigue drops him to sleep - I'd throw up an RP post on it, but I'm still digging out from the Snow-hemoth that landed on us, and I'm driving home from work today to visit my friend; his sister was in a drunk driving accident and is really badly off. Post coming...?

Let's plan to have it used for the play. That may have to change based on our conversation with Estus though. I say we rent a warehouse in a dockside/ water front type area to go with the mood and creepy factor. Would you want to bother trying with financial investors? I'm thinking it may not be worth the effort. As far as budgeting and supply lists, etc, I would rather keep that abstract. I don't really know enough about this kind of stuff in real life. But, you're right. I think that the next step is to talk to Estus.
We're both fairly wealthy men - I think that we would simply chew through our own money before looking for outside help. Keeping the guts of everything can stay abstract, too - I would rather not have to do something that seems so eerily like work.
So, with this in mind... let's brainstorm for day one, make our abstract supply lists and budgeting and whatnot, then bring it to Estus tomorrow.
Unless you plan to hire more people to assist or look for a particularly huge warehouse, you should be able to pay for the project from your own savings. I also have no interest in going through extensive budgeting and research- someone can make an Accounting roll to stick to the budget and then Art rolls for building it.
I will have a larger update on Spencer's date and Martin's consultation tonight when I'm on a real keyboard (that isn't also a shared work computer).

Totally agree. I don't think we need to roleplay anything from the first day, but James may want us to make some rolls. Once that's done, we can make an appointment to see Talbot.

That's a great Art roll; this turn of events has really energized Lucian it seems! Put a check next to your Art skill for the end of the chapter. The project is a sustained effort and we're going day to day for a little while until we can skip around, so it may be a little while before Lucian's critical acclaim starts rolling in.
Okay, tomorrow I'll update again with the warehouse (unless you guys have a specific neighborhood in mind), Spencer's date and Martin's seance. I think we're getting ready to move the plot forward a little unless you want to spend some more time RPing.

Yeah, I hadn't expected that you guys would want to keep it going after the riot. You did find it particularly moving after losing sanity to the Yellow Sign, though, so not out of character. Hopefully Martin (and the scandal caused by the riot at the Scala) can talk a little sense into you gents...
Well to foreshadow, Spencer would be intending to either help find a new venue, or convince the Scala to allow a couple of extra showings, but would be reasoning in a 'tamed' version to avoid a repeat performance and more controversy... there is the attentions of a well bred lady to consider after all!
