FYI, I'll be traveling this week.
(Taking kids to Space Camp, then coming BACK to do work that I can't get out of, Then going BACK to Space Camp,..[We just had our 20th anniversary, this is closest were getting to a second honeymoon!]) ;P
Short version (too late!) I'll be traveling a lot this week, but I will have access to Internet in between driving and other insanity. So I should be able to mostly keep up!

Quick heads up guys: I am just beginning to plan my GenCon trip. I will probably try and tie up a few loose ends, but then I'm not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to PbPs. Maybe some, maybe not. So just keep y'all in the loop, I might not post up quick this upcoming week

Hi everyone.
Just a check in. I'm sorry about my silence. I got back from GenCon and went back to work. Usually I am able to update a bit there, but things were a bit hectic. Then I volunteered yesterday and ended up working in a downpour for five hours before they called the day because of weather.
I am working a bus thing today, so hopefully I can catch up with everything

Hi folks-
Just a note and an apology. This game has seemed to be fairly problem-plagued. I don't know why, but it has been. That being said, I was trying to reread some of the older posts to get the crew names right when you go back and....
You got off the Laugh at Shoalsbreak and headed to Threepenny Port aboard Artos' Ghost. The Sengenese vessel isn't in harbor, rather it was an Opalline vessel that brought you here.
Now, I'm at a quandary. Do you want to retcon it to where the Laugh brought you, or should we stick with Ghost?. I apologize, since I lost the 'bible' of names I get confused with 2-year old postings.

Hey folks.
I'm not sure if I'm Imagining things, but I don't see a lot of enthusiasm for this game anymore. It could be that everyone is busy, or that we went through a bad patch with my posting and getting everything tangled up.
Let me know, honestly, if you guys are still onboard. I am in the middle of charting out another adventure, but if you guys are tired of the game I'd rather not put in the effort. Let me know. I won't be upset. I'm actually amazed y'all stuck around during all the silences while I was getting my life back together.

For me it's more like there's a lot of other characters but it feels like Magnus and Kesel do most of the talk. I'm really trying not to step on other people's shoes as I'm new to the game. It doesn't feel right joining someone else game and then taking over. A lot of time I'm holding back because I want to hear what the original cast want to do first.

I'm in. I'm good. I'm here.
Sort of. Mostly. ;P
I am sorry for my seeming lack of enthusiastic posting lately, just been too busy to craft my usual novel-length monologues. I've been keeping up with (almost) everything, but it has been tough. (Work, bills, you know,) ;)
I suspect it has a little to do with the down time, it does seem to be a bit rough getting the old engine started again.
Speaking for myself, I'm glad I stuck around! :)
I confess a little bit of dragginess on my part, sorry, I'm sure I'll get back in the swing of the Swashbuckling-magus once we get going again!

LOL
Your a lot nicer than me! ;)
Seriously, Magnus is also a newer PC. He just talks a lot because
1- That's his personality, and,
2- It's me! ;)
Honestly, most of the time even Magnus doesn't know what he's talking about. He's just talking because that's what he does! :)
It's all part of the charm! yeah, that's it,... ;P

That's kind of the feeling I'm getting too.
But, honestly you've been playing for four years now, I think you qualify as veterans by now, LOL
But, as you say, you guys have been keeping up. I'm more interested in what the other folks have to say.
I am in a position to take you folks on a new adventure, and I have the time to post more regularly, but I need a heads up as to whether there's any enthusiasm for it or not.

For me it's a couple things. One is the nature of my character's concept. Citlali doesn't talk much. She can but doesn't and spends most of her time paying close attention in order to read lips.
The other thing is that it always take a while to get back into a regular rhythm with a character after an extended break.

And I often hold back a bit because I'm playing San as definitely NOT the leader; someone who's not sure he even really cares what he does. :-)
But yeah, it can be hard to get back into the swing of things after an extended break; still, I'm in favor of continuing as well. I've always enjoyed this game a lot.
