OK folks. I have been a bad GM. It has been a very miserable time for me after Labor Day. A lot of things came to a head, and now I find myself without a job (for about four days). Things have been stressful, and with everything going on, I haven't had the time or inclination to play anything. It has been a stressful two months, and again I am sorry I haven't kept up. These next few days I will have time off, a valuable commodity. I am updating everything I can. Stay tuned!

Hi all
I just want to say that I am trying to keep things going, but my schedule and several life-related stressors are really taking my creative flow offline. I cannot update at work, or a lot of times at home. The time is just too tight.
I'm am dedicated to keeping going though. If you guys are. Until things settle down, which, realistically might not be until 2016 or so, I will have gaps in posting. I apologize for this, but I will try to post up in a timely fashion, or at least post something here to give you all an update.

I am working on some stuff for this next scene. I am going to move things forward as I can. It seems like everyone is still onboard, so I am going to be advancing the storyline as the week progresses. Just let me know if there is anything you wish to do.

Then Magnus could spell attack him with a DAZE, which would break the fascinate, but leave him unable to take actions for one round,
THEN the rest dog pile on him and try to silence him in one round?
I've always regretted lack of 'knock out' rules in RPG's. :)
Or is there a rule for sapping someone and knocking them out that I don't know about? ;P

Hey I used to DM as well, I know what it's like to build an elaborate storyline and have people not pay attention, and so when I'm a player I try to work with my DM's setting and play off of what the DM's given me. Also, thanks to all this being online, I do have the option of re-reading conversations that literally happened years ago.
That is a good thing. I know that's helped me when I want to remember just what I said a year ago. PbP is a damnably slow process, and real life has a way of getting in the way, but it has its advantages as well.
Oh and as an aside. The guard could be taken out, but it needs to be done quietly. Otherwise the two guards above will definitely be 'on their guard'. Remember anything flashy is going to be REAL flashy in this dark warehouse.
Sounds about right. Unfortunately, given my imagination of Magnus's personality, I didn't really build him for 'subtle'. :)
Regarding that question, would you rule that when DAZE says 'takes no actions for one round' would that include calling for help? It does not prevent him from defending himself, just prevents him from acting for a round.
If so, that will give us ONE round to beat on him before he can cry out or attack back.
The way I read it is it's a clouding of the mind. So for a round he would just stand there looking stupid, but if you attack him it would allow him to snap out of it to defend himself normally. So if you want to get the jump on him you'd still have to beat him down. I will give you guys a surprise round on him, assuming the daze is successful.
That sounds cool to me, (sort of like a low-lvl jedi mind trick) :)
Went ahead and posted action. Magnus will obviously delay until Citali can deafen the guard if she indicates. Figured we need to take this guy out, and Magnus isn't the most patient fellow,... :)
