    Once he's caught up his breath, Tharkan walks among the front people, using his darkvision to gaze through the tenebrous mists of this place.


    The party moves on, heading to the western door. Finding it neither trapped, nor locked, the door is opened to reveal a ruined armory. Rows of wooden racks on the walls of this room hold a ramshackle collection of rusty blades, scraps of armor, and warped arrows. Six small dogslicers and six small horsechoppers are piled haphazardly around the room. The other items are unusable and worthless.

    There is a door in the eastern wall.

    Moving to the eastern door, torque opens it to reveal a curving room that appears to be a good-sized kitchen, complete with decaying tables, cupboards, and bins. One newer table has what seems like a child’s laboratory set up, with broken cups standing in for beakers. Looking up with a statrled glance is a goblin working at the table. With the goblin is a strange automaton consisting of hodpdge of parts, including an arm made from a human bone! The goblin hisses something to the automaton and it moves toward the party.
