Had to make an executive decision to move things along. Your plan was a good one. Actions Up!

I can't find the plan.

He had it as a spoiler took me a while to find it myself.

Just wanted to check: Did we get a full rest in before this fight?

Sadly, no. Having stopped to rest only around 3 hours after waking up made it impossible to truly sleep.

You tried, but your eyes kept snapping open.

I am requiring at least 8 hours between extended rests.

Alright, so work to fire training to bar tending last night, means I wasn't at home to read or update squat, now I'm back.

Wow,ok. It had been two days so rolled on with what I thought you'd go for.

Yup, Sunday was work to game to bed, no time either...

Chern's a battle beast. Between his two weapons and bear traps, he's making short work of the wolves.

Round 2 up!

Dagger? Chern uses two short-swords...

I guess your character sheet threw me off when it said longbow, shortsword, dagger.

I took that to mean you used a shortsword, dagger combo for some reason.

Will correct in future posts.

Realistically, one doesn't need a dagger, but it seems like the kind of thing every character should carry.

Jesse, if you are prone, you can't stand up OR crawl 5 feet w/o an AoO.

Luckily, Dakkar blasted the wolf back ten feet so he's in the clear.

If these "waves of magic" are meant to be me, they are not. These are standard "if you come near me, i will hit you with my big stick" melee attacks.

They are not. Something is trying and failing to use magic device.

are there any standard actions to heal? like the breather thing or no?

Heres that example luc of things that go in a discussion online instead of in game at the table. rules sometimes have to be in play, makes sense.

Ah, I did not see any of our people try to do such a thing, so I assume that there is more we do not see, or did i just miss something else?

You can also put these kinds of things in [ooc ] tags too in the gameplay thread. That's fine.

No, that's about it. Emrys is poorly positioned to be able to discern that part of things is all.

Holy crap. I roll about as well here as I do in real life. Ugh

Sort of waiting for Oderick's response to Dakkar.

Here is your chance to roleplay your mountain man butt off. Take advantage of it.

I was trying to avoid screwing it up for Oderic, as it was sort of our way of trying to gel him into the group, and Brian's questions were spot on.

Indeed.

I think everything has been played out as far as it can be now. Onward from here!

huzzah! Dakkar is planning on having the pelts turned into something for each party member. Suggestions?

Always. Be. Pushing.

Indeed.

New post soon. I hand waved the actual selling of the loot and gave each person their share.

Edit: Removed 13gp per share as the pelts are being made into something cool under direction of Dakkar.

Cloaks seem the most logical. Wish we had a crafts person to make wolfclaw clasps or some such.

Jesse,

crafting the scroll uses a spell as well so at this point you've used 2 1st level spells. Technically, you could have crafted it last night or during the day and a bit of travel so I gave you the beneift of the doubt. Watch this in future, though.

Scribe scroll is not an infinite source of cures at the cost of simply gold.

We would need to be on day 8 then, no one had spells left on day 6 for a scroll to be created.. Otherwise he is done a spell for the day

Balder would love a cloak with a wolf head that would go on top of his own. thatd be fierce.

I look forward to dividing the loot. We've been doing a lot of that lately. But it's nearly time to get this pile sorted. Stupid bandits delaying us . . .

see , told you balder would surprise you. Hes quite lawful neutral, alive if possible dead if nessecary.

Dude, check your email...

Luke, I assume the best thing to do with a map like that is tell you what we plan to do, but not move anything then, since others likely act first, but then if when you move the map at the end of the round, if we are in the wrong spot, then we should correct it?

You can move your guy when its your turn in the initiative order and not before as others actions may influence your movement. Your point about the end of the round makes perfect sense. Feel free to do that.

Been snooping through the recruitment threads on here. There are a freakin' ton of games going on, lots of pretty bizarre stuff too. There's at least a few GMs running 4+ games at a time. How can they find the time for that?

What surprised me though was that people are playing all kinds of systems here. 4e, Star Wars, all kinds of craziness out there.

Yeah I sniffed around for a while before trying this out to see how it's done.

There are a bunch of groups doing this exact same adventure....well, not exact same as I've added a lot to it.

Which is fun to read their experiences.

Their groups actually have cooperation with each other across the board. Craziness indeed.

The advantage of not knowing each other in real life perhaps? ;)

You may be spot on.

Depending on how complicated this is, maybe we should have numbers and letters around the edge of maps, like a chess board - "Emrys to A3".

Since you all can move your own figure, I don't think that is needed. Besides, I have no sweet clue how to do that in google drawings.

meh, Balder has every reason to dislike Ordric and no one can dispute that, real life knowledge or no. I wont RP someone who just rolls over for the sake of "party cohesion". but i was willing to not have this happen ant that counts for something i guess. oh well too bad so sad.
