The tunnels are small enough for the triplets to move back and forth, probably with just enough head room so they don't bang into anything. You find no (obvious) traps in this system. There are hatches that correspond to each each guest room, the back of the privy, and their personal room. There are also two exits, one to the north, about 100' north of the boarding house itself. You find another one leading south, but this goes much further than you might be willing to go at the moment. Given this information, is there any particular area(s) that you want to explore more thoroughly?
Ally is relaying everything she sees through Azaraunt's timely Message spell. She carefully looks for any sign of hidden passages or caches, and then travels up to 170 feet into the southern tunnel (to the limit of the spell). "Have you heard of one calling himself the Harbinger?"
"That just proves how new you are to this place. Anyone who has been here more than a couple of weeks have heard of this...thing." Joshiah pauses to sniff, then continues. "The Harbinger eventually comes up in almost every conversation had in this place. the problem is that, all it is is smoke and mirrors. It's all rumors and theories. No one has ever seen him, or her, or even it for that matter. There's no truth to tell with that one."

"Well, I don't know about that. No one has even been into the city itself in at least a decade, from what I've been told. And none of them are around here anymore. The Usurer might know something, he's about the only person here who was around when the last expedition went into the city. Beyond that, I can't really help you in that regard." Joshiah looks sad, as if she knows you're not getting what you want.

- 880 iron bits
 - 1200 gp
 - 1 dagger
 - 2 silver urns
 - 6 assorted gems
 - in back of some crates, you find a tapestry, depicting a griffon rampant on a field of clouds

| Lord Manticore |
@Macavity, Lavinia, and Azaraunt: The tapestry does not depict any particular kingdom over another. You can tell, however, that it is well made, using some of the finest materials available. If you had to guess, it was likely made by someone living in or having lived in one of the more arid countries, like Nix for example, where griffons are far more common. Also, your combined rolls give you enough to suggest a value of 5,000 gp for the tapestry, to the right buyer.
| Macavity the black |
After all of the attention to the tapestry, Macavity ensures that everyone sees the entirety of his search and offers, "I'm glad we found these iron bits. We'll need them to compensate Simon, our Society contact here. When we can relatively relax and remove any non-Society members from a discussion, I can brief you on what I learned earlier this evening."

"It seems that the law in this place is might makes right. While I do not believe that as such, I am willing to participate in that system of justice to satisfy the Usurer and the others in the Camp so we are not run out of towm. If she wishes to avenge her sisters' deaths, I am willing to accept trial by combat. She could even name a champion, if she so desired. Nothing else happens, really. the Hanging Man walks off, probably in search of more people (he doesn't spot you), but the creature hanging from the rafter is certainly dead. You see a couple of quick jerks from the body (or it could be the wind), and then stillness.
