Olaf goes to I-12 and attacks the statue in front of him

Olafs attack chips away at the statue but is less effective than could be expected by such a swing.


With military precision the statues initiate a counter attack...

Rotton remembers having seen descriptions of similar constructs in a Book before.They are guardians and very durable, the golden one is a special version and rotton remembers that there was a warning about it in the book,...... something about shattering weapons when attacked or something...

Looked it up, seems a yes. But Delsir doesn't have Precise Shot.

Delsir spends a move action marking the statue at G12 (north) as his favored target and swings his dire flail once at it. He's getting +1 to hit and damage against it.

The party attacks the statues ferociously but their attacks seem to lack effectiveness.

Gold swings blindly at Delsir...

Delsir uses Force Strike (2nd arcane point) against the statue directly east of Delsir.

South countinues to hack at Van Olaf...

Gold is in H-11.Delsir is in G-12 thats no flank for Jake.First attack misses second hits.Delsirs second attack against north was a critical threat BTW roll confirmation and damage.

When getting temporary bonuses from flanking, should you add those to the rolls? I didn't for Jake.

i wanted to save it for the final encounter and didn't think i needed it, but i think ill go ahead. ill have olaf use his free action to activate rage and use blur. after that ill be at work now


Summary: Currently round 3.Initiative Order:Shiro,Olaf,Gold,North,Rotton,South West,Delsir,Jake.

Shiro Bulls Strenght,Attacked West 2x,Attack 1 14 damage, Attack 2 6 damage.

Olaf attacked South 3x Attack 1 10 damage,Attack 2 9 damage,Attack 3 14 damage(with Rage)

Rotton cast Glitterdust duration 4 rounds, used force Strike 8 damage against north.

Delsir Attacked North 3x, Attack 1 6 damage , Attacks 2,3 16+8(crit).Took 15 Damage total from attacks against him.

Jake Attacked used Martial Maneuvers for Weapon Spec, Attacked Gold with Flurry damage 29.


Gold turns around to face the new threat presented by Jake,swinging its sword in a wide arc while doing so...

Before Jake and Delsir come up, I wanted to know where they are on your personal map. Keeping Delsir alive is more important, but I'd like to have him flank Gold with Jake if possible.

I see where the confusion is. I had Delsir move to G12 on his turn (a five foot step).

Also, funnily I used Delsir's name on one of Rotton's post.


Oh, I see now Jake did indeed have a flank against gold with Delsir, that means his 1st attack did hit as well.Updated in the summary.

Sweet! I don't mind if Delsir still got hurt, but I don't think North was flanking him. Also, for Glitterdust "Each round at the end of their turn blinded creatures may attempt new saving throws to end the blindness effect." I thought it was a save as a full round action and assumed you didn't want to spend an action, but apparently not.
