You will have to try a bluff, with + 2 thanks to your mentioning you are a Witch.

Are you sure you want to do that?

@Ghilda

I'll take your first roll as your perception check then.

The galley is a mess, and a treasure trove of lost and ignored gear. As you're examining the place you find a masterwork dagger being used as a butchers knife.

Easily replaced with one of the many knifes cluttering the room.

Sneak
You can sneak next door to the Quartermasters store, but Grok is there all day so all you can do is nod and smile at her. Introducing yourself.

Do note however the stores are an unoffical shop for the ship, you can trade for things you want, if you have something to trade?

You do need to make either a DC 10 Profession (Cook) or an (Int) check to prepare the evening meal as Fishguts is slurring out a long story regarding his time cooking in a fine restaurant back in Port Peril, and not doing any cooking.

Day end.

As dusk falls the Wormwood drops anchor and the crew gathers on the main deck for Bloody hour, when punishments are given out.

Aside from Barnabas II no one failed badly or obviously enough to warrant a lashing. Dorgan showed up from the bilges, stinking, fatigued but with enough dead rats to show he'd done his work.

Barnabas, you get abused by Mr Plugg, by now it's starting to become familiar, but that is all. He seems excited and distracted?

You see why shortly as a pirate is dragged up on deck from where he'd been chained in the bilges.

The unfortunate Jakes Magpie was caught stealing from the store the same night you were press ganged.

Mr Plugg struts as he makes a show of reading out the crime and Jakes 'confession'. Announcing with delight that Jakes will be keelhauled while the crew watches.

Perception checks

Ropes are attached and Jakes is dragged under the ship for 12 rounds. What is hauled up the other side is in bloody shreds, dead and thrown to the sharks.

Evening actions,

You are all given a half pint of rum to drink, the rum is staggeringly strong, doled out to keep the crew docile.

It's also addictive, a DC 5 (Fort) check to avoid addiction.

Failing to drink your ration is punishable, selling or spilling the ration gets you six lashes, six with the cat if you spill it again.

A DC 10 (Stealth) check means you've tipped the rum over the side, or in the scuppers without being seen.

After the rum ration is doled out you have your choice of actions.

Nighttime Ship Actions.

Sleep: Go to bed early and sleep through the night (automatically recover from fatigue)

Gamble: Play or gamble on a game of chance or pirate
entertainment

Entertain: Make one Perform check to entertain the crew

Influence: Attempt to influence a single NPC.

Sneak: Take time exploring one area of the ship. The PC can take 20 on a single Perception check or other skill check, but must make a check to avoid being discovered.

Steal: Attempt to open a locked door or locker. The PC must make a check to avoid being discovered.

As Jane heads down below deck, Data comes and lands on her shoulder, clearly tired from the long day in the rigging.

Jane will lay down and rest her eyes. She'll wait till everyone is in the chamber before talking again. "Someone keep watch."

It's a (Stealth) check to not be seen, then (Perception) and (Disable device) to actually steal something.

You're on a crowded ship, lots of people around so it's been simplified to one check to creep around.
