I'm going with an investigator. Would an infiltrator archetype (paraphrasing: investigates and disrupts groups from within, by taking the shape of people or creatures whose company he's infiltrating) work?
It wouldn't NOT work, but I am not certain how much use you would get out of infiltration abilities. Let me noodle on it.

That might work out pretty well, looking at the features. Note that CH is also going rogue.

You can never have too many rogue-types. :)
I'll finish up my character tonight/tomorrow and have it ready for review.

Oh, I don't know if you folks typically look at the Campaign Info page, but I am going to be using it heavily for this game so you have the current date and status. This AP is tracked week by week, so I will display the current status and probably spoiler the history.
So check it now and periodically through the campaign. I will put a notice either here or in gameplay when it changes, wherever seems most appropriate.

GM Treppa |

In what sense?
/me is confused
The scene opens at the protest. What's revealed about your personal agenda is up to you. I will PM any pertinent info for individuals (or spoiler it). Does that answer?
Has the group decided if they're acquainted and going together or wandering down chaotically?

GM Treppa |

Hard to tell. The other group are all minor nobles or illicit spawn thereof, so they decided they're acquainted.
Patrick and pinvendor are both tieflings. That could certainly be a close-knit community. Half-elves are also in the minority. Not sure what taig's investigator is. Maybe you all met in low, halfbreed dives? :P

GM Treppa |

And we're off!
Go ahead and post your character's description and any RP you would like to do. No rolls yet, we'll get to that later. For now, meet up with your fellows (if that's what you decide to do) or simply describe yourselves.
I will check characters during the week as we get through the intro.

GM Treppa |

Battle map is up and the link is on the Campaign Info page (CURRENT MAP). If you have any problems seeing the park, let me know.
Individuals depicted are either guards (line before the opera house doors) or vendors/entertainers. You can assume the grounds are full of scattered people, some clustered in groups, others wandering freely. You can move around without much trouble.

GM Treppa |

Well done, everyone! The casual group is keeping up with the intense one. Have one Hero Point. That gives you a total of two to start (one for this, one for the Broncos going to the super bowl (and yes, that's really your L1 hero point)). We'll run them as Pathfinder recommends, since I haven't used 'em before.
If you haven't completed your character builds and backgrounds, please try to do so this week. PM me or post here if you need a judgement call, and feel free to chat/coordinate with your party members on skills, abilities, backstories - whatever is fun!

Schedule note: I'm finding that my schedule favors morning (sometimes ridiculously early morning) posting. It gives me time to read and digest the night's posts, review the adventure, and customize the next scene. Hopefully, it gives you time to read the post and think about it before you have to post at night.

Treppa |

OK, still working tonight. I'll get an early morning post in when I'm fresh and have time to read and digest everything. Promise.
Problem was, I was supposed to be at my client's office at 9 a.m. and was awakened by her call at 10:30. :( I usually wake between 5 or 6 (or 2-3 some days), so don't set an alarm. I have plenty of time to prep a good post and get ready for work -- usually. D'oh.

GM Treppa |

Operational question before we get to it: Would you all prefer to roll initiative yourselves, or have me put an initiative roll at the bottom of the opening post of combat? That way, you can start right in posting combat actions.
But I perfectly understand if you prefer to roll initiative yourselves. If you want me to do the rolls, I'll do them strictly in first-name alphabetic order of your characters every time, for consistency. I'd do party first, then bad guys/NPCs, then post the full init order.
I guess same question goes for pre-combat Perception, if that applies. Again, I'd have a consistent order.

After some deliberation, I'm pretty certain that Dravek is not the character for this game. As it is, I will withdraw him and allow the GM to decide his fate.
I will draw up some other PC options and present them in the next couple of days assuming the GM wishes me to continue participation. I will assume yes unless she notifies me otherwise.
My apologies if I cause any delays.

Happy Easter to those who are observant. I hope the rest of you aren't stuck with a couple of feet of snow like we are. Finding eggs can be tough.
I've made some changes (had to drop my classes) so hope to keep up as previously planned from here on out. My apologies (again) for the delay.

I used to run a table for friends, including my roommate. We've all moved to different places now, and she misses playing a real RPG. She has resorted to playing WoW.
She polled her WoW buddies and has about a half-dozen people interested in playing a Hell's Rebels game together. I can probably run it pretty easily, considering this group will be way ahead, but it might be a little tough with 6 noobs. They have varying degrees of experience with tabletop gaming but little to none with Pathfinder.
I was wondering if any of you would be interested in mentoring one new person through the first book of Hell's Rebels - helping with character creation, teaching them the ins and outs of playing their class, helping them level up from 1 to, say, 3? I thought if they could each have a mentor who would help them via PM, we'd keep the discussion thread relatively clean and they wouldn't be so afraid to ask what they might consider stupid questions. It's especially useful if you speak WoW, but not necessary.
I am going to make it core-only to keep the amount of material available to a minimum, so we won't get half-dragon summoners or anything.
If this is something you'd be able and willing to do, PM me please. And if you don't feel like it, don't worry! My roomie speaks both Pathfinder and Wow and can translate for me.
Thanks!
Treppa
