So, for positioning, melee characters hide in the bushes, ranged/primary casters atop the walls. We hold the bandits outside the fort while the civilians hunker down. Is that the plan?

@Baolin: I moved them to the stable.
Speaking of which, the isometric view works perfectly for sprites. I've added some transparency to them, and threw them into formation.
If everyone is ok with them, I'll also remove their old sprites.
We're getting high-tech now, aren't we, DM?

"In case you're interested, there's still some positions available for that bonus opportunity I mentioned earlier. Again: All you gotta do is let us disassemble you. We're not banging rocks together here. We know how to put a man back together."
Sounds legit.

Alright all you fishing faithful I've got another one for you that comes straight from today!
I get home have a sandwich and start digging up my rods one ultralight to once again catch pompano or whiting (note I didn't catch either of these today). And one rod set for shark now most people when the set up for shark take a big rod and feel maybe 7 ft rod with a pretty heavy duty reel. Well not me! I go out with 8lb test line and a light rod made for trout and stuff of that nature. So I get back out went to Mexico beach again cast out my ultralight rig and catch a few catfish not sure why they are out so heavy right now it's actually irritating.
Finally I catch a pinfish well he gets cut up for the main event. Cast out maybe 5 to 10 minutes later my rod bends over and I start to hear drag being pulled I quickly switch rods and end up fighting a fish for at least 20 to 40 minutes I'm letting this fish take out line to wear it down....well I look down and see I've got no line left I can see metal never ever a good thing. So I finally start leading this giant shark only thing that this could have been. Well I see some more innocent bystanders hanging out in the water so I manage to get him to turn back the other way. I've got him in "close" or at least closer than he was before when my line snaps. [EXPLETIVE DELETED] i just lost steel leader and my whole rig it snapped somewhere above my shock like 50/60 lb test to protect against abrasion and steel leader for teeth. Well I'm tired I spent all day at the plant lifting 10 to 15 pound equipment all day so of course I re-rig and get some more cut bait on my hook.
Not 5 minutes later rod bends over again! So I begin the whole process once more. At first he swims into shore and I can see a 3 to 4 foot shark cruising along in maybe knee to waist deep water when he suddenly flicks his tail and all I hear is the sound o line being pulled out of my reel.
Well I probably go back and forth with this guy for my father in law says about 45 minutes when I finally get him to the shore line and we are able to grab him by the tail and get him out of the water!!! He's about 4 ft long and somewhere between 50 to 60 lbs I'm still trying to figure out what kind he was we let him go to swim another day damn that was awesome :)
I like pushing my rigs far further than they were intended to go but I almost bit off more than I could chew this time I'm thinking a rod and reel slightly larger than this one just to make sure I don't exhaust the shark to much and end up killing him. Almost thought this guy wouldn't make it which would have sucked they are so cool. Actually a great white was recently caught in my area which is weird since they don't normally come over here.

@GM:
If you're feeling RL pressure, we can hold off combat until the exams are over. There is no problem.
@Jian Xi:
You caught a shark? What kind?

Is that so? I didn't see any mention of it other than stopping in front of the gates and insisting they be opened. For whatever reason, I took that to mean that the doors were ajar enough to draw them into the courtyard. Maybe it was because of the map.
Well, they should still be able to see the dragon in flight. Maybe they think it is he who is talking - that or someone opens them in time for the bandits to see Baolin and the dragon.

So, we were just a lot more effective than I thought we'd be. Like, seriously, wow. We should take us some prisoners.

That was well-done, Baolin.
I suppose that it is best to give them the chance to surrender if they believe Jia-Hua abandoned them. If we give battle, they might feel threatened by us and take up arms.
It's as Sun Tzu says, "To a surrounded enemy, you must leave a way of escape."
Tsui Dawei
I suppose we can track him. It isn't like he has a horse. Maybe our swift tracking team should try to pin him in. He should only be invisible for a few minutes at most. The rest of us can start securing the prisoners.
Dawei is up for doing the tracking. He'll just want to have a talk with the prisoners when he gets back. They need to get right with the Eternal Emperor.

Hayashi will also join. I don't have the feeling that we're going to catch him.
But in truth--we have a hint about where he is going: back to camp to rally the rest. If I recall correctly, they had more troops. Dawei and Hayashi could intercept him.

Sure-if Jade Moon doesn't want in on the hunt, she may go instead of Hayashi.
He's is a bit extra, since Tsui is the better tracker. The rest could go.
Jian Xi got to get some action, man. I get the feeling we're overshadowing you or something.
Hu Xiang Lun
Xiang would prefer to stay and learn what can be learned from the bandits before rushing after Jia-Hua. Fading from sight may not be his only trick, and the more knowledge of him we have, the better our chances of defeating him.
Hu Baolin
We know that our prey is a good tracker himself. We know that they made camp to the north, and that their horses were there (assuming the prisoner tells the truth). So, I suspect that the west-bound horse might be a red herring of some sort. However, we also know that he comes and goes separately from his men. So...

In addition, the eidolon and the summoner must remain within 100 feet of one another for the eidolon to remain at full strength. If the eidolon is beyond 100 feet but closer than 1,000 feet, its current and maximum hit point totals are reduced by 50%. If the eidolon is more than 1,000 feet away but closer than 10,000 feet, its current and maximum hit point totals are reduced by 75%. If the eidolon is more than 10,000 feet away, it is immediately returned to its home plane. Current hit points lost in this way are not restored when the eidolon gets closer to its summoner, but its maximum hit point total does return to normal.
He is also quite slow when flying.

I have an upcoming surgery that will keep me from anything more than a small notification for two weeks. I will be unable to keep up with all events (and possible messages) completely, but will be able to log in periodically for a short comment.
Until then,

Wow. Good luck and hope all goes well! Stay healthy!!!
I'll have things updated during the day today.
We're nearing the end of the school year on my need (2nd to last day, actually) so that things were a bit hectic, but they're calming down again. I'll be doing summer school but there will be tons of free time for me there.

By the way, I am here, I'm just trying to figure out a good response to Gao's revelations of the Stag Lord.
