Miet's move speed means she can't get into color spray range this round - closest she could manage would be to move up next to Erwin and ready a color spray in case they move toward her.
Saves against Uraisa's spell: 1d20 + 1; 1d20 + 1
The partially-burnt Tower Girl collapses in the face of Uraisa's spell, but her ally manages to just barely shield her eyes before the magic hit.
Don't know what happened to my post from early this morning, but Oscar hit with a 22, and did 7 points of damage... I'll roll again if you wish.
Who were you attacking? (And I've had similar things happen to me once or twice before as well, even down to the repeating dice rolls. No idea what it is..
How many enemies can Kassandra catch in range of her Burning Hands spell? If she can get three, she'll cast the spell, otherwise she will use a Healing hex on Shiv.

The one who dared to attack Oscar. I had that in the flavor text with the first post :-(.
Female Human Bloodrager (spelleater) Normal: AC 15/11/14, hp 11/13 AC 13/11/12, hp 15/17, rage 4/8
Ellantera grins at the new arrivals and salutes them with her sword, hoping she looks more sure than she feels.
Are Miet and Erwin in the hallway? How wide is it? If it is 5', can Ellantera step into is far enough that only one foe can attack her at a time? If it is 10', she will move up alongside the dwarf and bid him turn around and ready his hammer.
"N' need t' rush t' th' party, there's a new one right behind 's!"
If her actions allow, she will ready an attack on the first one to come in reach using her off-hand masterwork silver dagger, feinting with the sword.
Kass: you can get three if you get right into the faces of the newcomers (and that would be five of the six, actually, just missing out on one rat). Of course, doing so would almost certainly mean that Miet's action would be wasted. Make your call - I won't resolve the actions of the new group until you do.
Oscar's hammer breaks another arm (and probably a couple ribs as well), while Galyna manages to open a deep cut on her foe's shoulder.
Ellantera, the corridors here, like everywhere else in the Crow you have so far seen, are 10 feet wide.
Ellantera steps up just in front of Erwin and Miet, weapons at the ready.
With new arrivals in the field, the Tower Girls and their pets try to rally. The rats attacking Oscar and Shiv continue to snap and hiss in an outraged fury.
The rogue hisses over his shoulder through clenched teeth at Galyna, "This is yer fault." The rogue falls on top of his rat opponent, driving his blade through it, before succumbing to his own wounds...
Rats had my number. Hit me every round for pretty much max damage. Shiv was at 0 hitpoints and now is at -1 because he attacked. I was assuming that he had nowhere to escape too.
Kassandra scans the battlefield, torn between her urge to burn the rats and helping her wounded party member. As Miet moves up and begins to cast a spell of her own, she makes her mind and sharply turns towards the wounded Shiv. Muttering a short incantation, she pulls a talisman from one of her pockets and presses it onto one of Shiv's wounds.
Healing hex on Shiv for a 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 point heal.

I'm not sure Edwin or I are able to act yet. How far are we from the entrance to the room the others are fighting in? Miet should be with us as we all have the same movement rate and started toward the scrum at the same time.
The new arrivals have their actions to take now, since Kass healed Shiv, then Oscar's attack will resolve and everyone else - including El and Erwin - will be able to go.
The rat-girls ready their weapons and move forward, but not as fast as their rats, which swarm furiously toward Erwin with a rage that goes to something beyond just feral. Before they reach him, though, Miet incants an arcane phrase and a blast of color leaps over them.

Readied Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16Not including favored enemy bonus, see below Silver Damage:1d4 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 - 1 = 5Includes -1 to damage for silver, not including +2 favored enemy (human) since I wasn't sure how the lycanthropes play into that - or if they are, in fact, lycanthropes.
On her action, she will press the attack on the same target, using power attack and the longsword.
MW Longsword attack:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9Not including FE Non-silver Damage:1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10Not including FE
Erwin will use Inspiring Command on Ellantera. Affected allies gain a +2 insight bonus on attack rolls, AC, combat maneuver defense, and skill checks for 1 round.
Lycanthropes keep their original subtypes in addition to gaining the shapechanger subtype. These are human wererats, and thus are (human, shapechanger) - your FE applies.
Even with the feint, Ellantera finds the wererat too nimble for her blade, dodging aside before lashing out with a stab of her own.
Two more stabs do no better, as Ellantera's foe parries both attacks easily.
Erwin tries to offer her some encouragement, while Oscar and Shiv finish off the last of the rats besetting the rogue. No Tower Girls were threatening Shiv or Kass, Oscar, although there is still one threatening you... Shiv, with the rats off of you, you can move into a flank with either Galyna or Oscar to help deal with their Tower Girls. Meanwhile, Uraisa blasts her foe with more colored lights. Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 She resists again, and she smiles with a feral grin.
Kass, Miet, Galyna - you're all up. Galyna, you might have a flank coming if Shiv decides to take that move.
Should we come up with a period of time to act before the character is botted? We've been waiting 6 days for Kass, and Oscar hasn't acted in almost two weeks?
Sorry about the late posting! I am traveling around and abroad this summer and posting has not always been easy. I'm sorry again, and if these things happen please feel free to play Kassandra and not wait for me for too long!
After healing the rogue, Kassandra turns towards Uraisa's foe and attempts to subdue her, at least temporarily. She raises her hands in a strange gesture, whispering a few words in what sounds like gibberish.
The Tower Girl finally crumples, even if not as thoroughly as Uraisa would have liked; Kassandra has at least given the wizard a short respite.
The Tower Girls seem less confident now that their numbers are starting to dwindle. One stabs at Galyna (first stepping out of the flank), while another runs up behind Oscar to stab at him as well.
At the other end of the hall, the wererats and the donkey rats both find their access to Miet blocked by Erwin and Ellantera, and so turn their weapons on them.
Oscar kicks out at the rat bothering him, to try and discourage his attack, but turns his attention to the Tower Girl who thought she would be all sneaky and like, but found his armor tougher than her blade.
Putting aside her magics, Kassandra loads her crossbow and fires a bolt at one of the donkey rats, but it unfortunately misses its mark by a good two feet. Kassandra hisses and puts the crossbow away.
Female Human Bloodrager (spelleater) Normal: AC 15/11/14, hp 11/13 AC 13/11/12, hp 15/17, rage 4/8
Ellantera, through as much luck as skill, dodges or parries each of the attacks directed at her. And this round, AC 20.
Knowing that the tiny weapon's damage will be more effective than her preferred blade, she uses the sword to parry and continues to try to drive the dagger into her opponent.
Attacking the wererat that is in my face; if both are, the one I attacked last round.
Galyna can't finish off her target, but Shiv has no such difficulty, easily dispatching the woman and leaving Galyna unthreatened at last. Oscar and Kassandra find their attempts to strike less effective, but Uraisa finally finishes off the rats that have bedeviled Oscar and Shiv and Ellantera uses her knife to great effectiveness, slipping the blade beneath the ribs of her wererat attacker and causing her to cry out.
Erwin still to go; also, Miet, the same narrowness of the hallway that keeps the Tower Girls from being able to stab you past Erwin and Ellantera keeps you from being able to cast color spray without catching El and Erwin in the blast.
There is a grim, almost fatalistic determination, in the eyes of Oscar's foe now as she finds herself without allies in the large sleeping chamber. She takes another stab at the fighter before attempting to slip past him to join her were-sisters in the hallway.
Short sword attack on Oscar: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7; then Acrobatics to tumble past him 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10. Ouch. That's gonna provoke, Oscar.
Out in the hallway, the presence of silver seems to change the wererats' attitudes. The two rat-faced women exchange looks, then one makes a sudden move toward Ellantera, hoping to distract her, while the other leaps upward, somersaulting forward in an attempt to get behind the ranger.
Aid Another from the first wererat: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10. Good enough. Full defense from the second wererat, then Acrobatics to try to tumble through Ellantera's square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
The wererat lands easily behind Ellantera, grinning nastily as she prepares to take advantage of the flank. FYI, Miet, the wererat is standing right next to you as well.
Although so far they have not proven to be a threat, the donkey rats continue their frenzied assault on Erwin. Bite attack #1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2, damage 1d4 ⇒ 3; bite attack #2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12, damage 1d4 ⇒ 2.
You guys are up. Oscar, don't forget your AoO before your actual action.
Kassandra turns her attention to the wererats and makes some gestures with her right hand towards them at the same time as throwing a pebble at the general direction of the one which is further away from Miet.
Slumber Hex on the wererat further away from Miet ("the first wererat"); if it works, this should allow Ellantera and Miet to flank the wererat between them.
If Oscar's Girl hasn't fallen then Shiv will shoot her, otherwise he'll move down the hallway to the Ellantera fight and shoot the closest one of them. Subtracted -4 for firing into combat.
From behind, you can here Shiv grumble to himself, "I got this..." There is a twang followed by a whistling sound as a crossbow bolt narrowly misses clipping your ear and embeds itself into the Tower Girl.
It takes a second swing from Oscar, but he puts the last Girl in the room down. Erwin manages to crush one of the two rats, while Uraisa notices one of the unconscious Girls is starting to stir as Kassandra's hex begins to wear off and blasts her back into passivity. Shiv's bolt catches the wounded wererat in her back, but the mundane steel doesn't seem to hurt her. Kassandra spots an opening and fires off another hex, hoping to turn the tables on the flanking wererats. Will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Unfortunately, the wererat resists the magic, leaving Ellantera still caught between them.
Miet, that's possible, but you're probably going to want to make a casting defensively roll - because Erwin and Ellantera are right in front of you and there's a wall right next you opposite the wererat, the only 5 foot steps you can take are still within the rat's threatened area.
Here are my usual chargen rules for PbPs (those of you who have played with me before will find these quite familiar):
* 20 pt buy
* Standard core rules races
* Any classes/racial traits/archetypes from core, APG, Ultimate Magic and Ultimate Combat, plus the ARG (3PP material potentiaally allowed - I don't have a lot of it, though, so it's by approval only)
* Feats and spells from any Paizo-produced Pathfinder RPG source (with stuff from the 3.5 Pathfinder era potentially allowed - I'm mostly thinking of the spells from Gods and Magic that haven't been converted yet)
* Two Traits, one of which must be from the Shattered Star Player's Guide.
* Starting gold equal to your class' average.
I am not automatically opposed to non-standard races, but I tend to lean a little harder on them than most other rules options. Consider them by-approval-only, but please feel free to ask. Of course, as noted above, archetypes from the Advanced Race Guide are fair game for any race I choose to allow in the game. Ultimate Equipment is also open for use essentially without restriction.
Anybody have questions or comments, shout 'em out!

After some thought and if Shisumo really dosent mind I may be able to come up with something just let me know what the party might be needing.
Awesome!
Last count, we have an evoker, an urban ranger, a rogue, a tactician, a dwarven cleric, and two still-deciding. We have the basic roles covered, so you should be free to do whatever you prefer. It might be a challenge to keep that many bodies on their feet in a big fight, but the undetermined characters could both help with that.
It's an interesting idea, but I think in the end I'm not comfortable with it; it's either too fuzzy a choice or too broad a one. As a general rule, ruins "draw" their terrain type from their surroundings - while there's a case to be made for changing that in this context, I'm afraid that doing so in this AP would mean your favored terrain would apply in every dungeon, which is a problem in that the dungeons are deliberately designed to be pretty different from one another in their settings. I would prefer to emphasize those differences rather than gloss over them.

Yeah, I'm not good with traits. What first trait did you take?
I don't have mine figured out and I don't have gear other than weapons and armor figured out, either. The character sheet is far from done, for that matter. Right now, it's just the bare facts.
This is Ainvarg's Urban Ranger, by the way.
Now that you have me thinking about it, I'm leaning toward the Defender of the Society (+1 trait bonus to AC when wearing Medum or Heavy Armor) for my second trait. The first trait is less clear.
Got My sorceror nearly done just not sure of the exact bloodline? and second trait Any suggestions? Gnome who specalises In Illusions and talking.
The only really illusion-oriented bloodline is the shadow one, and it isn't terribly so. As for talking, maestro and infernal have some social elements to them, if you choose to go that way...
Female Human Bloodrager (spelleater) Normal: AC 15/11/14, hp 11/13 AC 13/11/12, hp 15/17, rage 4/8
Yeah, Ellantera is intended to be closer to a rogue, but able to be a front-liner. I like the potential in Galyna's class features; looking forward to seeing how she develops.
Okay charcter mostly done save for gear and one more trait. (Thinking ease of faith but just want to see if that's okay)
Why wouldn't it be? Because it says "your divine magic?" I consider that to be an artifact of poor writing - it ought to say something like, "the divine magic of your faith is no different than that which powers..." etc. You're welcome to take it.
Your stat block and the ability score list on the left side of the screen are in disagreement about your Charisma and Wisdom scores.
And... I hate to say it, but you don't actually qualify for Extra Rogue Talent yet, because you don't meet the prereq of "rogue talent class feature" yet. You have to be at least a 2nd level rogue to take Extra Rogue Talent.
Serpent Runner trait seems to point to the same thing... technically, a rogue with medium armor proficiency who wears medium armor only loses evasion, which might be a tradeoff Arioch's willing to make.
Yep and yep. Basically, down the road he will eventually be the proud owner of a mithral breastplate and shield (negating all the penalties with the combo Serpent Runner). The non-proficiency penalties are equal to the negative for abilities/skills as far as I can tell, which will be non existent. The mithral will also count as light armor so he won't lose the evasion. Being a scout I see him getting in the fray a whole lot. A bit of a different kind of rogue. It all is going to work with his background. Basically, he was was forced to train and perform in the Serpent Run wearing a breastplate. I was about to run this by Shisumo just to make sure it all made sense to him. I have a habit of looking far down the road with my characters. He's definitely shaping up to not be your run of the mill rogue I think.
A strict reading of Defender of the Society suggests that it doesn't actually work with mithral breastplates, but I'm not going to actually rule that way. Your plan works for me.
Oh, and just a quick FYI, I am using his favored class points with the human option from the APG to get additional Rogue Talents (in case you were wondering where I was putting mine). Yay, I like your ruling but I see what you are saying! Not critical to the build but thanks :) His role is really to make the fighters in our group better. Down the road he'll be taking stuff like the Rogue Talent: Assault Leader and Teamwork Feats if others so desire.
Considering swapping Great Fortitude for Defiant Luck. I like the idea of luck playing a big part of her life as she tries to protect the citizens of the city from the things that lurk in the ruins and beyond
I'll get rid of the extra feat, and build the profile either tonight or tomorrow night. Away on a business trip, and never know how much time I'll hame.
I think I'd like to have everyone ready to go, characters finished and read for approval and the start of the game, by Friday morning. Is that possible?
