Numeria has a long history of mystery and wonder buried under its rugged landscape, for on that one fateful night thousands of years ago, the Rain of Stars scarred the land. The fragmented remnants of a ship from beyond the stars fell from the sky, scattering strange technological ruins and deadly perils across the land. Today, these sites are feared by the barbaric tribes and coveted by the sinister spellcasters of the Technic League. Yet something worse than brutish berserker or super-science wizards has risen to power in these hidden technological ruins.
Something stirs in the shadows of Numeria and unless someone figures it out the whole world could be in danger.
Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.
Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.
if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.
Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.
Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...
Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?
Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).
Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."
You all take over and hide and shortly after three men holding primitive rifles come in. They don't spot you right away and instead notice their fallen guard. One of them runs to check on him while the other two look around.
Well over a dozen large glass tanks sit against the walls of this oval-shaped chamber. The tanks themselves are semiopaque with condensation, grit, and filth, but several of them seem to contain some sort of figure within. Each tank has a metal-rimmed door on its front allowing the contents to be accessed, and one tank to the north has been wrapped with several coils of rope.
A set of double doors lead to the next chamber at the north-east corner of the room.
The beings in the tanks are all humanoids of various races that appear to have been experimented on and surgery altered. You see scars from multiple surgeries on all of them and they all have a circular scar around their skulls (like the top of their skull was removed and put back) Surprisingly they appear to be still alive and upon noticing you begin to bang on the glass of their tubes.
F Android Slayer lvl 5. HP 46/46, AC 21/16/16, Init+5, Perc.+9, Fort+5 Ref+9 Will+3
Lacking any compassion, being an android, Jayla calmly turns towards the other girls.
"These are all still alive, subjects to unknown surgeries." Int check, calculating %:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
"I think there is a 60% of individuals who might be able to aid us in some way, 20% fleeing the immediate area, 10% to suffer a mental breakdown, and 10% needing motivation to do anything at all."
Tapping the nearest tank with the tip of her dagger...
"Opinions?"
The tank at the end which is wrapped in rope contains a wererat who seem to have not been surgery altered yet. The wererat is scratching awaits the tank and motioning wildly for something. He seems to want you to get away from the other tanks.

"It's horrible! These people have been experimented on. The surgeries on their heads left scars!
"Are any of these the girl we were to rescue? Or Dinvaya?" Pharysene asked, wary of getting too close just yet.
Perception:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2
"A moment, please. Let me see if I can retrieve information about these subjects before we release them." Kinna examines the control board to see if she can pull up any data about the experiments and patients.
Not totally sure what skill to use to try to retrieve information from a computer- Disable Device? Kn: Engineering?
Jayla believe it should not be too difficult to free the wererat she would simply need to remove the rope around it and open the glass tube.
As you begin to take apart a panel a monitor lights up on a nearby wall. "Well this is a surprise test subjects don't usually come here willingly." says appears to be a hobgoblin with in a labcoat. "However I am not one to waste such and opportunity. Let's begin the first test." The tubes begin to open (all except the one with the wererat that remains closed)
I'm here. How many of these things are there? There are over a dozen tanks, but they didn't all have a test subject in them.
Kinna types into the glowing panel on her forearm, sending a matrix of lines up at the ceiling to swirl into a perfectly circular gateway to a dimension of clouds and soothing light. Belying the peaceful nature of the place on the other side of the gate, a huge spider crawled out to perch on the ceiling.
Cast Summon Monster II for a Giant Spider (celestial, 7 round duration) on the ceiling. I want it to web up test subjects to keep them off us.
Val manages to hit the 3 targets to the north without hitting Jayla
reflex:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 reflex:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 reflex:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Somehow they are surprisingly nimble and avoid most of the flames. They do not even fling as the flames burn and seem to not even notice. (it did damage they just don't feel pain)
They attack the three Val burned go after the her and the rest attack however is closest swinging their arms like clubs.

Pharysene steps five feet north to (G,2).
She opens her mouth and emits a flash of lighting that connects the three enemies north of her dealing 5d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 4, 4) = 14 damage, a thunderous BOOM occurring at the same time. Half is sonic.
Lightning Breath (5d4 electricity damage, 30 feet line, 2/day, DC 16) (Su) As a standard action, deal electricity dam in 30 ft line (Ref half).
She's visible now!
Harika grunts as one of the lab subjects hits her and takes a step away from the melee. She gestures at the floor and another gateway in space opens up, this one directly underneath two of the attackers.
As she does this, the giant spider on the ceiling spins a web at the pair of creatures against the southern wall.
5' step to H4, cast Create Pit at E2 to get 2 attackers (if Jayla will move to C4 none of us need to save against falling in). DC 18, 6 round duration, 20 feet deep
Spider shoots a web at the 2 attackers at I2 and I3, anchored against the wall high enough to not catch Pharysene and Xaikon in the radius. 7/7 rounds left of summoning.
The ratman now freed jumps on the closest experiment biting it.
bite:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
A few go down and a number of the experiments have taken severe wounds that would fell a normal man (they are at negative hitpoints) but they do not fall and instead seem intent on continuing to fight.
The hobgoblin on the monitor seems to be taking notes.
"resistance to pain is working better than expected but targets lack proper motor control to do battle. Best used as meatshields to more skilled combatants" he mutters.
Those that remain continue to attack the closest targets.

Fending off the creatures attack, Pharysene steps back to (G,2), then winds up her sling to attack the guy at (I,2).
sling attack:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 for a possible 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 bludgeoning and magic and 1d6 ⇒ 5 electrical damage.
