Numeria has a long history of mystery and wonder buried under its rugged landscape, for on that one fateful night thousands of years ago, the Rain of Stars scarred the land. The fragmented remnants of a ship from beyond the stars fell from the sky, scattering strange technological ruins and deadly perils across the land. Today, these sites are feared by the barbaric tribes and coveted by the sinister spellcasters of the Technic League. Yet something worse than brutish berserker or super-science wizards has risen to power in these hidden technological ruins.
Something stirs in the shadows of Numeria and unless someone figures it out the whole world could be in danger.
Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.
Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.
if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.
Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.
Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...
Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?
Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).
Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."
"It's a science station run by the salvager group "The smilers" they do all kinds of crazy experiments here. My name is Whiskifiss from Marrows Raiders and the hobgoblin you saw there is Tinker he is the leader of the smilers. If your not here to attack the smilers then why are you here?" He says
Whiskifiss perks up and his whiskers move around quite a bit he seems excited. "Androffan girl? Surely you jest...There are no living Androffans left on this world..."
Yes you can press forward to the next room. I will describe the next room now.
This large chamber contains several metal tables adorned with tangles of strange devices sporting metallic, articulated arms, many of which end in blades, needles, saws, or other implements of surgery.
The whole area reeks of blood and old guts, and telltale rusty brown stains besmirch the floor and walls. Lighting is provided by several burning skulls sitting here and there throughout the room.
Upon closer inspection you realise that the creatures on the tables are mostly organic but fused together with machine parts (They kinda look like steampunk borg assembled by someone who was working with parts from a junkyard). Even the organic parts don't match as the arms and legs look like they were taken from different people.
There are four tables with a creature on each and they do not react to your presence as you enter.

"No..." Pharysene whispered, shocked at the horrific sight.
She reached out and touched one of the creatures on the first table, her hair gusted back and forth in sudden erratic breezes.
"Why would anyone DO this?" She asked, uncomprehending.
She concentrates and casts Detect Magic.

"Several things are possible,", Jayla replies as she inspects the subjects.
"Someone could be looking to augment troops, or themselves, and practices the craft on others before applying satisfactory results on himself or said troops.
Perhaps for combat enhancement, a means to replace lost bodyparts, enslaving people via mechanical means.."
Seeing the horrible sight of this room, and having to deal with the zombies of the previous room, she does not approach the tables keeping her sword up while looking around the room for any signs of threats.
I be careful of those bodies. Can be more zombies.

Jayla taps the forehead of the victims with the point of her dagger to see if thy respond at all, keeping her rapier near the ear to thrust if they make hostile moves.

Pharysene lunged around the first table in a gust of swirling winds to get a flank on the first creature, then swung her sparking staff.
mwk quarterstaff attack vs first creature:1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 2 = 25 for a possible 1d6 ⇒ 4 crush damage plus 1d6 ⇒ 6 electricity.
Your ratman ally attacks one of them shooting his crossbow from the door were he had been hiding. He targets the most damaged one that was struck by Jayla and it goes down.
attack:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 151d6 + 1 + 3d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (5, 2, 4) = 13

Pharysene drops Total Defense and whirls her sling around to attack the undead attacking Valeria.
sling attack:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 for a possible 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 bludgeoning damage.
Also making sure she does not energize her sling attack with lightning.
Val can hit two of the creature with her breath.
reflex:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 reflex:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
A second creature goes down from the fire breath.
The ratman decides to drop his crossbow and lunges at one biting and clawing it killing another.
The final remaining cyborg attack Jayla not concerned with the fate of it's comrades and focused on it's mission.
attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
It misses and then you finish it off. (gonna skip the round since it's highly unlikely it would survive to get another turn)
The monitors comes back on "Unexpected results, seems my experiments are a failure. I will need to try again with better stock. As for you I am curious as to your purpose in attacking this facility you did not come to save Whiskifiss (the ratman) it seems. Is your goal to kill me then?"
The screen is destroyed by the knife and there was no other in the room.
So the room is silent and if the doctor hear your replied you cant be sure.
Even so searching the room you find a bench with a and injector gun and a large number of vials.
You find eight red vials, a dozen pink vials, one orange vial, two yellow vials, two blue vials and one purple vial.
The vials can apparently be placed in the gun and then injected into someone.
You find some notes on the vials and their effect.
Red: Causes subject to quickly regenerate minor wounds.
Pink: Causes subject to become stronger and faster but loses mental acuity.
Orange: This potent drug can revive a recently deceased victim. If administered to a corpse within 1 minute of death.
Yellow: floods the brain with neuroinhibitors that purge the mind of excess emotion. Injected creature will remain docile and unable to feel anything for an hour.
Blue: A powerful anesthetic. A creature under it's effect will loses consciousness and will not wake up for an hour even if harmed. Multiple doses is usually lethal.
Purple: A synthetic adrenaline shot that will greatly boosts perception and reaction time but comes with some nasty side effects. User will become unable to concentrate or focus and will have a hard time completing any complex tasks for several hours. Is usually followed by drowsiness and extreme fatigue after effects wear off.
These chemicals are likely worth around ten thousand gold.

"Oh, you're injured!" Pharysene exclaimed just looking at Val.
She went over to Val and cast Cure Moderate Wounds and Cure Light Wounds, healing 2d8 + 5 + 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (6, 1) + 5 + (7, 7) + 5 = 31 damage.
Then she went over to Xaikon and cast Cure Light Wounds twice, healing 1d8 + 5 + 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 + (6) + 5 = 20 on her.
