I've been to so many places in so many different times, hell... I could be your uncle or something!" Casfi laughs jokingly, gently ribbing Enall with his elbow.

you can finish up anything you get up to in your next post. Want to keep the party moving.
The next few days of travel go uneventfully, and you manage to fully recover from your less than pleasant encounter with the skyfish. You also learn what their displays look like and so are able to avoid them in the future. You have also become wise enough not to engage them and to just keep walking, as they seem not to attack unless you attack them first. On the sixth day since your skyfish encounter you come across a strange set of tracks that seem to be made from both a giant bird and a big cat. It would make sense for a gryphon to have made these tracks if they were not reversed. It has the cat paws on the front and the bird talons on the back. As you travel on and the sun climbs higher in the sky it becomes obvious that something lives here, maybe more than one something. The weather seems to cool only slightly over the next week and it is no longer unbearablly hot, just horridly hot.
High:	97°F (36°C)
Low:	87°F (30°C)
Very Hot: A character in very hot conditions (above 90°F) must make a Fortitude saving throw each hour (DC 15, + 1 for each previous check) or take 1d4 points of nonlethal damage.
Characters wearing heavy clothing or armor of any sort take a -4 penalty on their saves. A character with the Survival skill may receive a bonus on her saving throw and may be able to apply this bonus to other characters as well.
A character who takes any nonlethal damage from heat exposure now suffers from heatstroke and is fatigued. These penalties end when the character recovers the nonlethal damage she took from the heat.
Nonlethal damage from heat exposure cannot be recovered until the character gets cooled off (reaches shade, survives until nightfall, gets doused in water, is targeted by endure elements, and so forth). Once rendered unconscious through the accumulation of nonlethal damage, the character begins to take lethal damage at the same rate.
The sky above you changes and becomes an unearthly shade of red, things appear and disappear out of the sky, and even time itself seems distorted. It is as if someone has ripped at the laws of space and time. Something is obviously wrong here.
At the beginning of a round must role a d20 for a DC18 will save, then must roll a d100
Rolling results are as follows.
01-10	Do nothing but babble incoherently
11-20	Act normally
21-50	Do nothing but babble incoherently
51-70	Flee in a random direction
71-00	Attack the nearest creature
To complicate matters the sound of growling reaches your ears and four very irritated looking creatures walk towards you. They look like wingless dragons with long necks. The leader snarls at you, then looks at the sky. Apparently they blame you for the sky's appearance. The creature snarls again and crouches, preparing to attack, this is the territory of their pack and you are not welcome. However there is no way but though.

The largest Sirrush lunges at the nearest wagon, foaming at the mouth and eyes blazing red as the strangeness in the sky takes over its mind.
The large female eyes you, blaming you for her mate's odd actions. She does not seem pleased.
The second female begins running in circles, screaming in terror at nothing.
The omega male lays there gibbering, his mind warped by those clouds.

Everyone roll a reflex save, unless you're prone and writhing on the ground. If you're running around like a maniac, then you're considered flat footed. Reflex halves the damage.

The creature you are attacking pays you no heed, since it seems preoccupied with running in a circle screaming. It seems to be searching for any place to flee, but nowhere is safe from whatever it is seeing.
The other two creatures are still either simply watching passively or writhing on the ground gibbering with madness.

Sha'llae stops writhing and her eyes snap open, she still seems driven to insanity by the sky above. She grabs her strange gun and presses it to Casfi's chest, then pulls the trigger. It doesn't seem that she knows who she is attacking.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Rolling Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Casfi'azair flies back several feet and lands hard on his back, grunting in pain from being shot at point-blank range. A blackened, smoldering blast point burns through his shirt and is clearly seen on his chest. He groans a bit again, before slowly rising back up to his feet. He grimaces once more before looking at his shirt, "What? WHAT!? You shot me! My favorite shirt! My favorite bloody shirt... it's all.... WHAT?! WHY???"
