Before Dinner
Leaf looks at the Half-orc as she comes out and takes a second to realize she was asked a question.
"Certainly! there's six of them and neither Zooke nor I have any idea how to raise them. Well, Zooke does, I don't. You wouldn't happen to have any advice would you?"
During Dinner
Leaf fetches stew for both Zooke and her. After they try it,
"I don't suppose she gives lessons, 'cause this is great!"
I don't mind skipping ahead, but do you mind waiting until we go to bed for the night in game? I have a little roleplaying I'd like to do.

Before dinner
The orc smiles as she picks up one of the kittens. "Make sure you feed them every hour, and they've got sand here to use for their business. And don't forget, that they're wild creatures at heart. When time comes to let them go, let them go." She says.

Before dinner
"Thank you. If you ever need help, let me know."
Leaf heads back to Zooke and relays the info, as well as the Half-orc's wish.
We'll let her pick one out before the night comes.
During Dinner
"Hahaha, guess not."
Leaf's grin fades as something that's been gnawing at her for most of the day comes back to the fore of her mind.
"Am, I any different than that tin-god-king?" She asks as she curls up into a ball.

Emilia Trenga |

Emilia matches together a gypsy like garb from spare clothes she can find, her male chest quite open to the desert wind. She puts on slight hints of make up to accentuate her now masculine features before grabbing another bowl of stew and approaching the hand maidens. She also casts disguise self specifically on her teeth to make them appear like normal human teeth, while making herself generally more appealing.
"Good-evening my fair ladies." Em speaks with a with broad smile. [b]"Would you all mind if I join you for a little while?"[b] She speaks in a musical and masculine voice, gauging reactions behind her usual semi-false geniality. Her body language is open, inviting, and friendly, but yet with out purpose, judging on the reactions. Emilia's joy is real, for she loves the game she plays.

Mara looks up. "Uggg.... a commoner. You're not wanted here, common drudge. She says, sneering at Emilia. " Aren't you supposed to be mingling with the other common folk? She lets out a yelp as something hits the back of her head.
"Sure you can sit here, if her highness is fine with it." Ecin says. "Don't mind Mara, she's just got her girdle in a bunch.
The girls fall for her fully human disguise, however they really don't have any clear motive.

"It would be an honor and pleasure to share new company. Thank you the invitation. If her highness would rather I leave, I shall do so gratefully." She smiles, and looks over at Mara. "I'm sorry if you're upset by my heritage, Mara, is it? There's a lot about me that's not quite so common that might be more to your liking." There is a warmth to the statement, but also a masterfully stated mystery in the persona she's adopted to anyone who could see through the verbal and personal disguise. An invitation is sent out on tendrils of understanding as the tiefling tests the waters of her environment.

"When I went to get my fixed, Cer and Sha'llae were burying the goblins we had killed. I... lost it, I guess. I yelled at them, said that goblins don't deserve a burial, or even to be cat food." Leaf lets out a weak, bitter laugh. "Then Cer said that if i thought they didn't deserve 'last rites' then there's something wrong with me." Leaf starts to shake uncontrollably as she finishes, and tears begin to well up in her eyes.

Zooke |

Zooke smiles at her. "They're goblins. We're not expected to get along with them. It's understandable you don't like them. I don't care for them either. I don't see why they needed last rights, they were dumb enough to attack us. They got what was coming to them. But, well some people want to be nice to everyone, even stinky goblins. That's their problem and they've no right telling you how to live. She didn't have any business saying things like that to you."

Emilia Trenga |

All the noble girls are quite awed by her, even the b*%@#y Mara. Mara mainly seems interested in being a complete and utter arse to everyone except the princess.
"Well, I am a traveler from a great and varied far off land, and I always have stories to tell, if any of you are interested. I have a great many things that I can offer in fact." Emilia winks.
"If you would indulge me, I would love to hear more of your lands and experiences. Perhaps some day I could tell the stories you share with me to some other lovely folk in some new land.More established now, Em is able to do more listening and watching of the people around her. She searches for the hint of devilish brilliance in those around, seeks out spies, and simply enjoys getting to know more of a varied people.

"It's not just that. I honestly wanted KuJoe to kill that goblin that wants to be a paladin. I know that they're supposed to be evil, but some where inside me, I felt... guilty. I felt guilty because that part of me thought that I should at least try and give him a chance. After all, don't we have some cousins of ours that are evil, even some of our own that have fallen? *sniff* As guilty as I felt for wishing that, I still got mad at KuJoe for taking him in. That...*sniff* that bastard-king treats you... anyone not *sniffle* like they don't deserve to exist, or only deserve the worse kind of life. Am I really that different? *sob* A-am I really all that different be-*hic*-b-because of the way I feel about a race that can feel pain?"
Leaf breaks down, crying into her knees.
"It hurt. It hurt to hear Cer say those things to me. It hurt to remember the eels, and then wonder if I was any different from those nobles who just tortured them without a thought. It hurt to remember the words of that ditz who said that I was only good as dragon fodder when I couldn't hit anything. It hurt. It still hurts!"
By the way, how close is everything, because at this point Leaf is bawling pretty loudly.

"But, well some people want to be nice to everyone, even stinky goblins. That's their problem and they've no right telling you how to live. She didn't have any business saying things like that to you."
"It's not a problem I've ever wished to solve." Enall whispers to Mimay. "Sleep, Auto." He tells his metal man, powering it down.

Zooke |

Zooke strokes her hair. "You know what makes you different Leaf." He says, smiling down at her. "This." He wipes her tears away and offers her a hanky. "You feel guilty, and that's good. If you didn't, then you'd be no different than the emperor. He delights in his cruelty. You regret yours, your worse moments. You repent for them and they hurt. As long as it hurts when you do things that are wrong, you know that you are on the right path. When it stops hurting, that's when you've lost yourself." He pauses and grins. "That ditz is just plain mean to everyone who isn't herself. She's like that because she's picked up every possible botching and itching that you can think of."

Emilia Trenga |

: assuming Em heard any of the out burst and Leaf's sobs:
"Ah, but one of my companions has suffered a wound of the spirit in the skirmish earlier. I am called to tend to her, but I will return again to speak with you more, if you would have me." Emilia addresses the group, with a broad smile, taking her bowl as she leaves with graceful bow. She strides over to the gnomeish ball, and kneels beside her, nods to Zook, and speaks in soothing elvish tones.
"blodyn blodau, eich dagrau dŵr y ddaear, felly gadewch iddynt lifo. Rydych yn ddiogel, a byddaf yn fan hyn am gyhyd ag y gallai fod angen i mi."
Emilia strokes her back in a soothing manner she's perfected through her profession.

Mimay giggles a bit, then frowns sadly at the gnome. "Poor girl, she seems so down. I've never seen a gnome that sad."
"The gnomes I knew were prone to sudden mood changes, but I think they were alchemist who drank a few too many of their own elixirs." Enalls replies. "I hope she comes to grips with it soon."

Kujoe eats his meal alone and quietly and then takes his spare time to teach Ix a thing or two. "Ix what is it that drove you to be trained as a Paladin what was your life with the goblins why did you leave." Kujoe would like to familiarize himself with the goblins motives before beginning any real paladin trading.

Ix looks at the setting sun. "Ix almost die and see very scary place, full of badthings. Ix not wanting to go there. So Ix not be bad, and not go to badplace." he explains. "Ix not be maggotwithface."
-----
The sun sets low, and everybody turns in.
-----
As the sun rises the next morning the caravan heads out after breakfast. They stop for lunch at noon and rest by night. This goes on for what feels like an endless cycle and it is easy to loose track of time. Finally a settlement is seen in the distance, and a good thing too because supplies are running low.
you may give a description of what happend while your are traveling, it takes about a month and a half to get to the settlement from where we are now. Pardon for pushing this ahead so fast, but it WILL take two years to get to the destination. I don't want it to take two years or more in real life.
Great Roleplaying everyone, you each get 500XP for role playing.

Throughout the trip Kujoe would have spent as much time as he had to spare to familiarize himself with Ix and learn his motives he would also have started to begin his teaches as to how to read common. Once the sight of the settlement came into view he would whisper to Ix "Don't think the peoples here will take well to the sight of a goblin in the town stay with me if you don't want to be chased out by a crowd carrying pitchforks and torches." Kujoe smirks at his comment but means it well.
Really enjoying the RPing happening in this pbp really enjoying thanks for the opportunity mystic :)

Ix frowns and then looks up at him. "Ix stay in carriage with stuff, people no seeing Ix then." He says finally.
Meanwhile Mimay goes to find Enall, when she does she calls up to him. "Enall, I gotta talk to you!" she says.

Leaf asks Golurtz if she could teach her how to cook, and if she could help out to ease the burden some, and to keep from going stark raving bonkers.
While they travel, Leaf and Zooke keep raising the kittens, which have begin to grow fairly quickly. When not sleeping, caring for kittens, or helping cook the meals, she talks with Zooke, about her home, her mentor, what she likes and doesn't like to eat, and about her adventures, while also trying to find out more about Zooke.
She gets to know everyone else, but is rather awkward around Cer and KuJoe, and avoids Ix entirely.
She has probably ticked off the more close-minded of the party by openly, and vehemently at times, stating her opinion of the Princesses daddy. She also joins Emilia on a few occasions to get to know the princess and her ladies in waiting. Taking an almost instant liking to the Twins.

Golurtz seems quite happy to have help in the kitchen and even shows Leaf a few tricks.
Leaf also finds out that Zooke was kidnapped and sold as a slave, and really isn't too pleased about that.

Ix frowns some more, then pauses. "Buy Ix sweets?" he finally asks.

"I'm due in six months." She tells him. "By the time we return from this... mission thing. The child will be already a little over three." She wonders if he'll keep their relationship just friendship, or if he'll do something else. Should she remain single, her children will be born into the servitude of the empire.
