DC 16 Will save to convince yourself the wall is not there and that you can pass through it. Although you haven't "interacted" with it, I'll allow people a saving throw since you did witness a giant claw come out of it.

Illusory Wall:
This spell creates the illusion of a wall, floor, ceiling, or similar surface. It appears absolutely real when viewed, but physical objects can pass through it without difficulty. When the spell is used to hide pits, traps, or normal doors, any detection abilities that do not require sight work normally. Touch or a probing search reveals the true nature of the surface, though such measures do not cause the illusion to disappear. Although the caster can see through his illusory wall, other creatures cannot, even if they succeed at their Will save (but they do learn that it is not real).

Map if you are able to walk through wall.

You can't see through the wall so you can't charge it, but you can go through the wall and end up next to him.

Glimmil charges through the wall and finds a construct similar to the ones in Jzadrinue. This one has a large hammer for one arm and a large pincer for the other. It does not have the same round tubular body.

Glimmil smashes it with his hammer, but fails to dent it (hardness 5). Cog on the other hand manages to tear a small piece of metal away. The construct remains standing, Silphir still in its grasp.

I believe Silfir is still to go and would be conscious with the healing by Atol, but the Synth HP math still gives me headaches.

Atol: Cure Light Wounds for 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

DM Chris:
Atol is confused as to what hit him. He thinks it was the same one in the confusion...

Round 5 Init 14+

Finneas attempts once again to smash the construct that has so grieviously injured his friend Silfr.
Finneas smashes his greatsword through the construct, its rusty interior giving away easily once the greatsword penetrated the hard armor. The construct drops to the ground.

It has been brought to my attention that Hex Ward has no time limit on it. Since it's still on me, I wouldn't have failed my Will Save by 1 to see through the walls and would have instead made it by 1. Since the retcon of that would most likely change a lot of what has happened I'm not asking for any changes to past actions but wanted to bring it up for future reference.

You can play him as clueless as you want, but you are currenlty being grappled by a separate pincer. That seems a stretch even for Atol.

Round 4, Init 10+

Dyrant will fire at the construct with his crossbow.

1d20 + 4 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 - 4 - 4 = 10 to hit;
1d8 ⇒ 3 damage.

Dyrant will then reload, waiting for his companions to finish it.

It's brief I assure you. :)

Could we get a clarification of the current situation? Finneas has destroyed one construct. In the current space that was hidden behind the illusory wall, we only see one construct. Atol has been grappled by a second construct, presumably from another hidden location? Do I have that correct?

Can we rest now?

Can we level now?

- In south end of room: destroyed construct, Finneas, Dyrant, Glimmil/Cog, Toffitt.
- In hallway: Silfir unconscious on the ground. Atol in the grip of a claw.
- In the north end of room: An undamaged construct.
- While the walls can be walked through, they can't be seen through even if you make the will save.
- Yes, you can rest now. Just lie down and the construct will get to you eventually. He's busy though, so it might be a while.

We await Glim (R4,10), Dr. Toffee (R5,21), & Silfr (R5,14).

Round 5, Init 21

Scratch a previous post. I got confused and did not realize that Finneas' killing stroke came after my move. Ah, PbP...

Status:

AC: 17 HP: 11/19
Weapon Equipped = Rapier
Shield Equipped = Buckler
Mutagen: unused (+4 Dex, +2 AC, -2 Will, 10 minute duration)
Controlled Rage: 4 rounds
Elixirs:
- Shield
- empty slot

Dr. Toffitt looks around him. If he should perhaps see a large lever on the wall, he will delay until just after Finneas moves, but before the construct moves... If the construct falls, he will go over and flip the switch.

Toffitt flips the switch and the griding of stone on stone can be heard from the hallway to the cell block.

Round 4, Init 10

"They didn't respond when I asked them to stop in Gnomish.. maybe they speak Dwarvish on this level?"

Who would build a pincher construct anyway?

Glimmil rides ahead with Cog to face their next adversary.

* Add a charge if possible. I didn't see an updated map, so unsure exactly where Glim can go.

Fight with combat mount (Ride DC10): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Glimmil attack (hammer, power): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Glimmil damage (hammer): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Cog attack (bite): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Cog damage (bite): 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Cog trip: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
