Hello. I've found the thread.

I'm going to ask everyone a series of questions to help you develop your characters and begin to form Bonds. Feel free to work with each other if you so desire. Once everyone's done, there may be another round of questions if I need more information, but since this is an AP rather than a homebrew, I'm not going to be as detailed as I usual am. :-)

Spoilered for ease of reading only. Feel free to look at everyone.

Amy:
1) Which Wizard spell have you chosen? How did you learn it?
2) Have you ever returned to Falcon's Hollow? Is your family still living?
3) Tell me a little about Rhovanor. How'd you meet him?
4) Why are you on The Jenevive? What's your reason for traveling to Sargava?
5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Keith:
1) Have you ever returned to the Mordant Spire or had any contact with your family?
2) Why is your hair so important to you?
3) How does your patron show its pleasure/displeasure?
4) Why are you on The Jenevive? What's your reason for traveling to Sargava?
5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear?
6) What are the limits to your mayhem-causing? Is there anything you would never do? Proudest accomplishment?

Silvio:
1) How long has it been since the crew of The Jenevive picked you up? What did you have to promise in order for them to let you stay aboard?
2) Have you had any contact with your family since you ran away?
3) How do you balance your Good alignment with your thirst for adventure. (I wouldn't consider staging a mutiny to mesh with that alignment. On the other hand, INT 9 WIS 8.)
4) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Gleus:
1) What's the strangest custom you've seen in your travels?
2) What cultural tradition/ritual from your people do you uphold whenever possible?
3) How far are you willing to go to sate your appetites?
4) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Chaney:
1) How has your near-death experience affected you?
2) How did you learn to Cure Light Wounds? Did you discover it yourself, did someone else teach you, or is it a result of the Channeler's death?
3) What are your thoughts about the Red Mantis organization?
4) How did you continue your training after your master's death?
5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Boram:
1) What happened to your left eye?
2) How do you like it aboard The Jenevive? Do you get along with the crew? Any friends?
3) How did you learn about traps and poison?
4) What are the limits to your thievery? How far are you willing to go to get what you want?
5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

For those of you who are interested, I'll put up a list of notable crew members of The Jenevive's crew in a few hours. Running a few errands at the moment. In addition to answering the above questions, finish putting your profile together, find a picture of your character, and start thinking about relationships with the other PCs. Forming Bonds isn't required at this time, but there's at least one pair that seems tailor-made for it right now. I'll let you figure out who. ;-)

Also, tell me your time zone and when you'll usually be posting. I'm EST and will generally post in the late afternoon/evening as I work in the public school system.

Gleus's Answers:

1) What's the strangest custom you've seen in your travels?
I do not know if you've ever been through Kaer Maga. It is a massive city full of people from all walks of life. It was there I saw the trolls of that city slit their own bellies, pull out their entrails, and read their steaming innards as divining devices. If you can look at that and not find it bizarre you've led a much stranger life than me!

2) What cultural tradition/ritual from your people do you uphold whenever possible?
In my homeland, the Linnorm people observe "weregild". It is an honor system that states that all life and property has its price and the neeedless destruction of either is despicable. Any hostages or treasure taken in the field of battle must be returned to the loser if they can pay the right price. These terms may only be waived in times of war. Otherwise not even a Linnorm king can deny weregild. This is something all warriors of my homeland hold in their hearts.

3) How far are you willing to go to sate your appetites?
My uncle taught me to throw fear an inhibition to the winds. A true kings desires must be monstrous! I must give into lust and greed and live the life of 100 men. For that is the kind of man men would follow into battle!

4) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?
A warrior is only as great as the men who fight with him. One day I'll have swords pledged to me, but for now I must grow strong and prove myself. That being said, my greatest strength is my size! More than once has it compensated for an opponents speed or skill.

My only weakness is inexperience. I may not be educated but I have seen the potential of strategy. If I could find someone that could read I'd have them teach me!

My deepest fear is that I will die before I can return home. I must risk much to be a king, but...I have my doubts. I'll leave it at that.

My proudest accomplishment was earning my first axe from my uncle! He said it was his in his fighting day. On my 14th birthday he gave it to me for beating him in a test of strength! I will never let this out of my sight for one day I'll use it to restore my uncle's honor.

As a potential for bonds...
Amy ~ Gleus would be interested in learning about Sarenrae. Particularly her warrior-crusader side.
Keith ~ Gleus grew up near the Fae-filled, enchanted woods of Linnorm. He might actually be very relatable...or suspicious of you.
Silvio ~ It sounds like Silvio is an experienced man. Gleus would love to hear tales about Cheliax.
Chaney ~ Gleus isnt terribly smart himself but he loves to hear written strategy. Gleus would like to read it himself. Chaney could teach him.
Boram ~ Gleus is also fairly cheerful. These two could become fast friends, bonded by their extreme height difference.

YBD, I'm on central time. Usually post early in the morning. On slower days at work I'll post all throughout the day when I can. Rarely get on during the evenings/weekends.

1) Have you ever returned to the Mordant Spire or had any contact with your family?
No. I have no family anymore...
2) Why is your hair so important to you?
It is a glorious display of my manhood and grace. I am more beautiful for it. (Aka his mother's messed him up)
3) How does your patron show its pleasure/displeasure?
It shows its pleasure through small gifts and magic (cool, smooth pebbles, berries and nuts, small flowers, small animals, etc). If I displease my patron, nature makes my life hard and painful (vines whip, underbrush turning into thorns, walk through spider webs, etc).
4) Why are you on The Jenevive? What's your reason for traveling to Sargava?
To see the lions and get styling ideas from those majestic beasts.
5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear?
My magical talent and ability to control nature, and, sometimes people.
I'm too obsessed with my hair.
Proudest moment: Getting away from my mothers.
Biggest fear: running into family again.
6) What are the limits to your mayhem-causing? Is there anything you would never do? Proudest accomplishment?
I will never do serious, permanent bodily harm to anyone, stealing things from children/those who are less fortunate than me, anything harming animals or other innocents, and things that put innocent lives at risk.

Human Rogue 4 Fighter 1 | AC 16 (17 when dual wielding) | hp 39/39 | hit dice 4/4d8, 1/1d10 | Second Wind []

The villain's laughter after musing over his master plan still echoes through the room the camera pans to an adjacent window. Dramatic music ques and rises in volume as a shadowy form flies closer and closer eventually crashing through the glass. The form proves to be a mysterious stranger who deftly rolls with the momentum of his entrance and regains his feet with uncanny accuracy. With a flinch of his hand a rapier appears, the gleam of the steel only matched by the rugged newcomer's perfect row of pearly white teeth. The glass splinter in in front of the mysterious stranger spell out "Silvio has arrived!".

Answers:
1) How long has it been since the crew of The Jenevive picked you up? What did you have to promise in order for them to let you stay aboard?
It has been roughly 20 days since the Jenevive came upon Silvio's lost life boat. The captain was hesitant at first to pick up another passenger (unable to pay his way with coin) but Silvio swayed the crew to his fervor by promising great feats (backed up with wild stories of his own proficiency in number of different areas.) For example the no pirate would dare to attack a vessel that counted the great Silvio Callgari Pazzi as a member of its crew!

2) Have you had any contact with your family since you ran away?
No, Silvio still carries the Pazzi name with pride but to him he has imbuded it with something else. While the "real" Pazzi legacy is one of political power Silvio has imbued it with heroic daring-do and courageous undertakings.

3) How do you balance your Good alignment with your thirst for adventure. (I wouldn't consider staging a mutiny to mesh with that alignment. On the other hand, INT 9 WIS 8.)
Granted the coup on his former ship might have passed just as an indiscretion by life upon the ship as growing dull, Silvio felt that it needed a bunch in the right direction. While it currently could be considered as morally ambiguous as its best Silvio felt it could be so much more. Unfortunately the captain did not agree.

4) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?
His greatest strength, and coincidentally greatest weakness, is is confidence. In his mind, there is nothing Silvio can't accomplish. However somewhere deep inside there is a voice questioning if he's really as good as he thinks he is. As he is still a rather young man he has not had that "great accomplishment". The thing that will cement his legacy from just somewhat of a talker to a big damn hero.

I'm posting from GMT+1. I tend to do most of my posting in the evening.

@DM: Could you create a Game thread? I don't think there is a way to get this campaign in the "My campaigns" page without dotting a game place thread.

Of course, Silvio is happy to accommodate. What would you like to know?

Looking good so far, everyone. I've added a Gameplay thread so it'll show up on your "My Campaigns" page.

Regarding Bonds, you'll be able to create up to three in total. Also, they'll need to be written First-Person and need to be something meaningful. For example, if so desired, Amy could start with the Bond: "I am working on converting Gleus to my faith." This would be resolved when Gleus either explicitly accepts or rejects the teachings of Sarenrae. Essentially, Bonds are designed to help bring a party together and to encourage inter-party RP. By campaign's end, each of you will have gone through a bunch of them. :-)

Crew/Passenger List will be up shortly.

@Gleus: Now that you've created an Alias, go to the "Profile" tab and add your character information. Use one of the other PC's sheets as a guide. As mentioned, you'll be able to get the under-name text by filling in the Gender/Race/Class sections you find there. Also, if you haven't already seen it, the "How to format your text" button under the box where you type your posts explains how to make spoilers, italics, and other text changes. Those will be important when the game starts.

“Be allowed to be angry, impulsive teens.”

+1d6 damage forward.

[ ] Fade Into Violence - After you roll 10+ on Hack and Slash, you can use Artful Dodger to rush forward and attack another enemy
within Near range before they can react.

[ ] Now Its My Turn – When you spit blood and acknowledge that was a pretty good hit for the first time in a fight, gain 2d6 hit points
and take a Debility you don't have.

[ ] Lion Kills Dog – When you brutally end an unworthy enemy's life in full view of their allies, they gain an intense fear of you and you
take +1 ongoing to intimidate or attack them.

[ ] People Like You Need Me (Replaces Make Way for the Bad Guy) – You no longer roll Outstanding Warrants. Everyone knows what
you've done by now, and the authorities won't try to start trouble with you in the hopes that you won't start trouble with them.

[ ] Who The Hell Do You Think I Am? - When you loudly announce your presence to people who do not expect you, you and your allies
take +1 Forward and +1d6 Damage Forward to your next aggressive actions.

---Gear---

You start with dungeon rations and a seemingly endless supply of a cheap but illegal substance for your personal use.
Choose two:
[ ] Dented Bat (Close, 1 weight)
[ ] Switchblade (Hand, Concealable, 0 weight)
[ ] Length of Chain (Close, Reach, 1 weight)
[ ] Beat-up leather jacket (1 Armor, 1 weight)

Death Move - Punk Rock Isn't Dead
Your passing ignites a fire in the hearts of those you have left behind. Name a cause you believed in. Whenever your
friends act in the name of your cause, they take +1 forward. As time goes on, your allies may notice sympathizers,
protests, and even riots devoted to your cause. Your passing was too soon, though what you believed in will live on
forever.

Needs some work but I am so considering this for a backup character.

Not on the approved class list and definitely doesn't hit the "Dungeon World" feel. Is it from Apocalypse World?

I think it could work in DW. A couple of changes and the Punk becomes an excellent urban barbarian.

HP 15/20 | Armor 0 | Damage 1d6 Cleric 2 (6/9 XP)

1) Which Wizard spell have you chosen? How did you learn it?

Telepathy Level 1 Divination Ongoing: You form a telepathic bond with a single person you touch, enabling you to converse with that person through your thoughts. You can only have one telepathic bond at a time.

When traveling to Everlight Oasis in Zelshabbar, I traveled with a wizard that was mute. This was the only way that he communicated besides writing or signing. Over the months we traveled together, I learned to do the spell on my own, and not just wait for him.

2) Have you ever returned to Falcon's Hollow? Is your family still living?

I have never returned to Falcon’s Hollow. To my knowledge Laurel, my aunt is still living and running a health/drug store in Falcon’s Hollow. It has been so long since I have been there that I don’t know if any other family lives.

3) Tell me a little about Rhovanor. How'd you meet him?

Rhovanor is a friend of mine that is the best ranger that I know. The last I heard he was dealing with goblins with his faithful hawk. We meet on when I was traveling to Everlight Oasis in Zelshabbar. It turned out we were traveling the same way for a little while and worked the same jobs to pay for passage.

4) Why are you on The Jenevive? What's your reason for traveling to Sargava?

I am the Jenevieve because it was the passage I was able to find for Sargava. I am heading to Sargava because I have another one of my feels that Sarenrae leading me somewhere. This has happened several times over the years and each time something interesting has happened and I am able to spread the calling of Sarenrae to those who I meet.

5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Greatest Strength: Compassion and peace

Greatest Weakness: Swordplay, I am skilled in practice but don’t have a lot of hands on experience with real people since most of the time I do Sarenrae’s will and heal people.

Deepest Fear: To let others suffer more then they have to. Heal them or if they stand against Sarenrae then kill them quick to end the suffering.

Proudest Accomplishment: Sarenrae accepted my as one of her cleric.

Bonds:
I am working on converting Gleus to my faith, particularly the warrior-crusader side.

I am fine with Keith playing pranks on me because they create positive emotions most of the time. I might even return the favor from time to time.

I am located in EST. I can currently post most evenings after 7 and some mornings before 7. This might change in the next month or so, my job hours will be changing. I will update my hours if that is the case.

Thief Moves: Halfling | Trap Expert | Tricks of the Trade | Flexible Morals | Poisoner (Goldenroot) - Statistics: HP: 18 | Armor: 1 | Damage: D8 (+2 ranged/+d6 backstab) | Alignment: Evil | Exp: 1/8

Boram responds:

1) What happened to your left eye?

Absolutely nothing. Boram signed on with the Jenevive as a youth, fresh off the docks. Every young sailor gets hazed differently - Boram was convinced by the crew that eyepatches were a trendy sort of fashion amongst sailors. By the time he learned otherwise, the habit stuck.

2) How do you like it aboard The Jenevive? Do you get along with the crew? Any friends?

Boram enjoys his work and his life. He has been working in the rigging since his very first voyage, and understands it on an almost instinctual level. The same could be said of all the drinking, boasting and lechery that sailors are known for. Boram works closely with his superior, Crimson Cogward. The two get on well, spending many-a-night drinking grog and waxing philosophical as their legs dangle off the yardmast. Boram is also good friends with the ship's chef 'Fishguts': though Fishguts is famous for his poor hygiene, halflings can overlook almost anything if it means good food is part of the bargain.

3) How did you learn about traps and poison?

Boram spends his shore leave pursuing his "unusual" hobbies. Ever since the Jenevive first docked in Westcrown, Boram has been an avid customer at the Dusk Market. Dabbling in a variety of drugs and poisons before settling on Goldenroot, Boram paid very highly indeed to not only learn how to make the poison, but to slowly immunize himself as well. His use of Goldenroot on passengers and shipmates alike is undoubtedly the cause of his "Smooth as Velvett" infamy. He also dabbles in trapsmithing at the port of Ilizmagorti, learning the art from an old man that he still suspects is a retired Red Mantis Assassin.

4) What are the limits to your thievery? How far are you willing to go to get what you want?

Boram doesn't think of himself as a thief, merely someone with a looser grasp on how possessions and ownership work than most. He believes that if you were foolish enough to be stolen from, you probably didn't deserve whatever it was in the first place. The same goes for his use of Goldenroot: it isn't his fault you weren't prepared for it! How far is Boram willing to go? He won't kill someone for a shiny bauble, if that's what you mean. Even threatening violence would be rather unlike him (though not out of the question).

5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

Boram prides himself on his levelheadedness, and excels at committing himself to action and following through.

He possesses a peculiar sense of honor and loathes owing favors to others with a passion: Boram will do anything to balance the books (Not when it comes to money or stuff though - in his mind, that doesn't count).

The Halfling rigger has spent most of his life on the sea, and has unpleasant memories of the Sargavan slums: he hates being tied down, and isn't a fan of small spaces either. Oh, snakes freak him out too. Boram doesn't like snakes.

A number of the crew still remember the time Boram saved them (he does too, since it settled almost all of his outstanding "debts"). A few years ago, they had been sailing back to Cheliax when they were hit by the storm of the decade... and the Jenevive was blindsided. The sails were still almost full-sail when the brunt of the storm hit: securing them seemed futile, since it would take nearly an hour to reef them all. In spite of that, Boram risked his life making the ship storm-worthy; diligently wrapping the sails and rigging by himself when the others had long given up hope, expecting the next big wave to sink them at any second. Captain Kovack gave him a medal for that, complete with an awkwardly formal presentation ceremony on the ship's bow.

I am in CST like old P-Panth, but I work nights. I get most of my posting in then (sometimes in the evening too).

@Amy Eir (mostly) - My job hours are changing too! Or at least they were supposed to be. I suppose I'll find out sometime this month as well.

Boram Velvett is done!

*Dusts off hands*

I put together a few potential bonds, how would people feel about these:

Bond: Chaney VanLon knows incriminating details about me - I attempted to charm him with a Goldenroot handshake, but he noticed!

Bond: Silvo Pazzi had my back when things went wrong - He swung to my rescue on some loose rigging when I nearly fell overboard!

Bond: Gleus and I have a con running - With a little help from Fishguts, we're going to drink all the grog on the ship!

Questions for YBD:
How strictly do we have to follow the starting items for classes? For example, could I trade out the bow and arrows for a sling and some bullets? What about the precise rapier - could I have a precise dagger instead? Can we make other purchases with our 10 starting gold?

@Chaney: Let's stick to the classes I listed. Makes things easier for me. Also, still waiting on your answers before we can start the game. :-)

@Boram: Refluffing items is actually encouraged. The guide gives the example of a Ranger who uses a gun. :-) If you want to spend your chin now, that's perfectly fine.

HP 15/20 | Armor 0 | Damage 1d6 Cleric 2 (6/9 XP)

@Boram: Possible bond: Boram history among the crew of his thievery ways has insulted my deity; I do not trust him.

Thief Moves: Halfling | Trap Expert | Tricks of the Trade | Flexible Morals | Poisoner (Goldenroot) - Statistics: HP: 18 | Armor: 1 | Damage: D8 (+2 ranged/+d6 backstab) | Alignment: Evil | Exp: 1/8

@Amy: I like the idea; what if we made it a little more concrete? Maybe you're missing a favorite scarf or jewelry and suspect poor Boram? Then we could have a cool confrontation scene and stuff.

HP 15/20 | Armor 0 | Damage 1d6 Cleric 2 (6/9 XP)

@ Boram: Amy has couple of scarfs for her morning worshiping and could be missing one.

Bond: I is missing on of my morning worshiping scarfs and believes that Boram has it due to his history with the crew of his thievery ways. An item of worship stolen is insulting my deity; I do not trust him.

Proposed Bonds
Amy
"I believe Boram has stolen something from me. I do not trust him."
"I am often the butt of Keith's jokes."
"I am working on converting Gleus to my faith."

Boram
"Chaney knows incriminating details about me."
"Silvo had my back when things went wrong."
"Gleus and I have a con running."

Chaney (pick up to three)
"X will play an important role in the events to come. I have foreseen it!"
"X is keeping an important secret from me."
"X is woefully misinformed about the world; I will teach them all that I can."

Gleus
"Keith's ways are strange and confusing."
"Silvio shares my hunger for glory; the earth will tremble at our passing!"
"Boram is puny and foolish, but amusing to me."

Keith (pick up to three)
"Amy trusts me absolutely, for some reason." OR "Amy is a fool; I enjoy taking advantage of her."
"Gleus is my best friend, whether he likes it or not."
"Silvio has power. I have much to learn from him."
"My patron desires X's soul."

Silvio (pick up to three)
"X realizes just how great I am."
"X is someone I can rely on to make me look good."
"X needs to work on their appearance."
"X needs education on this heroing business, and I will provide it whether they want to or not."

As you can see, Bonds should be fairly vague "I statements." The proposed ones on each of your class sheets are always a good place to start. :-)

If its cool with you, Gleus, Keith is going to totally be 'noticing me sempai' Gleus.

I just love the bonds from the Dashing Hero playbook, so I'm going to go with those. Although I'm having some issues assigning them. Anyone see a bond that they think would fit their character?

_____ realizes just how great I am. This is my favorite. And this is just in Silvio's mind. The character doesn't in all likelihood share Silvio's high thoughts about himself.

_____ is somebody I can count on to make me look good. Perhaps someone who is very competent but not as flashy? Silvio can rely on that character to keep good control over a situation which would minimize the damage that Silvio's ill thought heroics might cause.

_____ needs education on this heroing business, and I will provide it whether they want it or not. Probably suited for someone younger who Silvio perceives as unexperienced. Or someone that he feels is unsure or cautious. Someone who likes to think once or twice before they act.

Boram would work for all three, though especially the first one. Uncomfortable with you saving his life, the Halfling will go out of his way to try and even the score: something Silvio might misinterpret as hero worship.

Maybe Chaney for the second one? He seems pretty sensible. Or rather, Keith and Gleus seem too flashy.

Finally, Just from what I've read, Amy seems like a good fit for the third one: having had little practical experience with swordplay she is bound to be a little uncertain in combat to begin with.

Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer. ~William S. Burroughs:

1) How has your near-death experience affected you?
The use of near here is debatable. Chaney certainly considers that he died and he was likely legally dead enough not to inherit any wealth or trouble from the old master. Chaney does not remember a Last breath move or any deal with Death but that could be normal, could mean he didn't actually die, or could be a clue to something beeper going on.
As to how it affected him. It reinforced his existing paranoia and self preservation instincts. He has been dead, he did not enjoy it and has no desire to walk those dark shores again anytime soon.

2) How did you learn to Cure Light Wounds? Did you discover it yourself, did someone else teach you, or is it a result of the Channeler's death?
A combination of self taught and taught by the old master. Chaney was Jos's assistant and experimental subject, his life was spent making Ratinckx's life easier. Having to constantly repair his assistants was nearly as annoying to the master as having to replace them. So Jos left a book detailing "The first cleansing before the Outlander" (an Irorian magical treatise of some veneration) where Chaney would find it. Curiosity, boredom, and a desire not to be in pain did the rest.

3) What are your thoughts about the Red Mantis organization?
"Run. If they have noticed you it is to late. Run. They are powerful and subtle and worse than both they are smart. Run. Never hire them, never work for them. Never say yes, never say no. The world is big. Run."

4) How did you continue your training after your master's death?
By and large he hasn't. The fall of Ratinckx the Black only happened a few months before the Jenivere sailed. Chaney earned his passage money through Cureing minor injuries, being hired to use Detrect Magic to insure negotiations were free of outside influences, and one Invisibility enhanced theft. So no formal training but he is getting better and better at what he does.

5) What would you consider to be your greatest strength? Greatest weakness? Deepest fear? Proudest accomplishment?

'Greatest strength? Greatest weakness?' No idea, ask me in a hundred years. 'Deepest fear?' Death, plain and simple. Everything else pales in comparison. Pretty much by definition. 'Proudest accomplishment?' Avoiding death, you were listening to the previous question weren't you?

Stats tweaked, background finished, bonds under consideration.

Oh and Pacific time. At least until the fires get their act together and take the entire state.

Silvo, you could technically count on Keith to make you look good, as long as he isnt the one getting pranked.

@Chaney: Any thoughts regarding potential Bonds, or do you want them to develop in-game?

Actually Chaney would be a good fit for either of the first two. Although if it is the second the phrase 'a buffoon' will be mentally added after the word great.

:7)

Wizard bonds are nothing to write home about....

.... will play an important role in the events to come. I have foreseen it!

.... is keeping an important secret from me.

..... is woefully misinformed about the world; I will teach them all that I can.

1 and 3 also need to be drastically reworded to capture Chaney's darker outlook.

I can see this working. Chaney would keep it quiet as well though Boram might not know why....

I am tagging Keith with "...is keeping an important secret from me." A blind donkey could sense the magic coming off you Keith. Chaney wants to know where it is coming from and how he can use it.

BONDS

Amy is woefully misinformed about the world; I will correct that before she kills all of us.

Keith is keeping an important secret from me. For now.

The last one "..... will play an important role in the events to come. I have foreseen it!" is up for grabs. Who wants a prophecy about them?

These will do for now.

@Keith - No problem with you hitting on Gleus. Should be...interesting.
@Chaney - Gleus would appreciate a prophecy to boost his ego.
@Silvio - Did you let it known you were a noble? If not, I want Gleus to innocently keep pestering you about your past, forcing you to keep making up elaborate backstories to keep your cover. Otherwise he will drill you for knowledge about Chelaxian society.

Did anyone else have any business with Gleus? I see a flood of posts since I last checked! Dont want to forget anyone.

@Gleus: Yes indeed, Boram tagged you with one of his bonds. At some point we must have been drinking buddies, because we're running a con together: with a little help from Fishguts (and maybe Crimson), we're planning to find, obtain, and consume all the grog on the ship. Perhaps this is the result of a drunken claim or dare since our last "session"?

We're very close to being ready to start. :-)

@Amy: Looks good

@Gleus: I need you to add your character information to your profile. I think a couple people explained it upthread a ways, but I'll be happy to walk you through the process if you get stuck. It's pretty simple but can be confusing the first time you do it. I also need you to dot the Gameplay thread.

@Boram: Add your bonds to your profile and your armor to the under-name spoiler. If you can find a decent picture somewhere online, that would be awesome as well. Dungeon World is primarily "theater-of-the-mind", but I may use combat maps on rare occasions.

@Chaney: Looks good

@Keith: Add your completed bonds to your sheet.

@Silvio: Add your completed bonds to your sheet. Also, I totally missed the fact that you start with a map. Tell me about it. :-)

Done and done. Not much I could find for a picture though. I settled on ol' Nick: see profile. Might be better off using my alias picture for a combat map, honestly.

I think I got my profile updated correctly now.

Add the full text of your Class Moves and your maximum Load. Everything else looks fine.

I think I'm going to go for:

* Chaney realizes just how great I am. (He seems like a rather sensible character which would be fun to have Silvio think he is constantly impressed)
* Boram is somebody I can count on to make me look good. (Silvio and Boram makes a good team with Boram feeling that he needs to even the score.)
* Amy needs education on this heroing business, and I will provide it whether they want it or not. (Going for Amy's uncertainty with sword play. If there is one thing Silvio knows, it's sword play!)

Does that look good for everyone?

Silvio will talk openly and enthusiastically about all things Silvio, which includes his noble heritage. Although he will touch on the nobility in sweeping and general terms as he thinks that is one of the least interesting things about him.

Oh, I also forgot about it :) The map is something that Silvio found in the captains quarters when his reign of the The maiden's kiss was drawing to a close. Feeling that order would soon be restored he did the childish thing and stole the map. One win for him. The map is of Sargarva and has a mysterious X marked upon it. The captain probably wants it back.
