Sir Galittlehad the Not So Pure |
The peck isnt entirely sure that he will be able to do s$&! against the dreaded Chotachungo. He draws his rapier and moves in front of Lalali, trying to stab the thing.
Smiting it
Rapierino to the monsterino: 1d20 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 9 + 3 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8

That's all it can do owing to the funky grappling rules.
PCs are up.
Malok, the East Wind |
Seeing the birds option, Malok moves and casts Bull's Strength on Ivar!

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
'Well that was more than I wanted to do just to get a bucket of water.' Ivar, looks at his bleeding legs and arms, "Well that sucked, any chance we can save some of this blood for the incantation, no need to waste it."
He points to the incision where the rapier struck and winks at Randy, "I'll admit, for a little guy you've got some stones!"
Shortly thereafter, Ivar searches the nest, and then finishes fetching the pale helm of water.
Janzadar |
Janzadar will spontaneously cast Cure Moderate Wounds on Ivar, and Channel Energy once.

Malok, the East Wind |

Survival?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Malok, the East Wind |
Butter fingers is able to recover the blood.. "My dexterity has been challenged as of late. Probably accounts for all those missed arrows as well."
drbuzzard |
rummaging around in the nest you find:
246 sp, 350 gp, 13 pp, a mithral hook designed to be worn on an arm stump (worth 1,500 gp), a fine brass sextant worth 750 gp, a nicebuckler decorated with a skull and crossbones, and an efficient quiver containing 20 normal arrows, nine cold iron arrows, , a javelin of lightning, and a masterwork composite longbow (+3 Strength).
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
"Yes a fine hook, but I would prefer my hand." After securing the coins Ivar adds, "I will let you educated types figure out if any of this is magical and finish getting water for the statue."
Ivar goes to the beach and fills his helm with sea water. When he returns he asks, "Are we ready to see where this takes us?"
Edit: Thanks for the reminder drbuzzard, I forgot to edit my numbers, so I forgot he did.
Malok, the East Wind |
Malok tests the bow and decides it's to stiff for him to operate properly.. He will take the quiver though if no one cares. He pass the javelin of lightning to someone who wants it.
Lalali-Re |
That´s fine Janzi. So if you´re all ready we could start commencing the ritual. I´m not sure about the outcomme, we could drag another ship into doom on the cliffs, cause a major storm or summon an ancient reptile good or his avatar or whatever, but we might learn something of value. Please bring forth the halfling for his valued sacrifice. We need just a drop of blood i think. My magical snake poison should do the snakes kiss trick.
drbuzzard |
Using the halfling as a blood source does 1d3 ⇒ 3 damage to him.
Upon being activated, tremendous bolts of lightning arc up into the sky from the surrounding stone monolith. DC 15 fort save or be deafened.
Though even louder than the lightning, there comes a rumbling thunder from Crab Lagoon as the waters roil and recede out to sea is even more impressive—this effect is a sort of magnified control water that lowers the level of water in the entire lagoon by 20 feet, exposing rocks, flopping fish, and several sunken ships to the air.
Sorry, no Ydserius. That comes later. Much, much, later.
Lalali-Re |
Sorry little Sir. Janzadar can you heal him please? This is very impressive. Somehow i don´t really hear myself, can you hear me?
Lalali shouts...
Fort Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Be deafened permamently? :/ Any clues or way to find out how long the lagoon will be freed that way? Good thing no Ydersius^^
Lalali-Re |
Well, perhaps by a knowledge nature or magic check, or some spellcraft.
Did anyone say something? Let´s go look at those shipwrecks a bit. We should check out when the water will be rushing back though.
Lalali begins to move towards the Crab Lagoon, looking for clues when the water might be coming back and hidden treasures, motioning the rest along.

Using the halfling as a blood source does 1d3 damage to him.
I though we were going to use the vial of Ivars blood that Malok took...
fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18Ivar covers his ears with his hands, there is a slight ringing but he yells out, answering "NO, no one said anything" Seeing she did not respond, he nods his head yes and then yells louder NO, No one said anything but you're right we should go look at the wrecks." He points to the wrecks following behind Lalali. ????
Malok, the East Wind |
Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Malok pulls the qtip routine after the powerful blast.. "Well that wasn't friendly to ones eardrums.. Probably lost a year or two there.. CAW!!"

You all head down the rope bridges to check out the exposed wreck following your paladin of smallness who is skipping ahead like a tyke.
You get down to the exposed rocks which used to be under water.
Seaweed, sea urchins of all colors, bright green anemones, scuttling kelp crabs, and bare rock glisten here, laid bare to the sky by the unnaturally low tide.
You are able to wade your way across the sections of water between the exposed rock.
The front two-thirds of a wrecked ship lies upon the rocks here, its bow mostly submerged but its ruined midsection propped up on a ridge of slimy rock. The sides of the wreck are thick with seaweed and barnacles, and dozens of crabs clatter around on deck.
