Janzadar shakes his head while covering his ears and making noises, as if checking if he can still hear.
He looks at the others and shakes his head, while pointing at his ear.
When they move towards the ship, he moves following them, keeping close to Lalali-Re.

Lalali bitterly accepts the fact that she seems to be deaf and goes on to explore the shipwreck just by sight.
She casts detect magic and looks out for something special.

As you get down to the wreck and start to poke around, the two deaf people start to hear again.

The ships shows no magical auras.

"I seems to be better, and can hear now!" - but it seems he is still somewhat impaired, as Janzadar screams his improvement.

Next time i´m doing such a ritual please remind me to put something into my ears. Do you see anything interesting here?

Nothing appears noteworthy on the shipwreck. It's a small vessel which broke up on the rocks.

I assume we are searching 'Y6'?

Ivar also looks around, not finding anything. "What would be the point of all that just to find this boat, That magical contraption has to be older than this boat. There must be something were missing."

There is also a door in the cliff face to the south. I had to cut that off the map due to size. It didn't need a perception check. Suppose I should have mentioned it.

Having gotten a better view of the cliff face from the boat, Ivar points 'There's a door in the cliff face to the south. Should we go look in there?" Ivar then gets out of the boat and carefully goes and looks at the doorway.

"I would say the cave is where we need to be looking. Unless yall wanna give the boat a once over."

Ah yes, if there is a door in the cliff face, we probably should head there.

As the team gathers around the door, Ivar attempts to open it up.

Two stone doors stand open at the base of this cliff above a curling spur of rock. Seaweed covers the doors, hanging down in thick green and black sheets, just obscuring some sort of carvings on their surface.

No traps appear to be present. You can try knowledge religion or history if you like on the strange carvings.

In spite of you thinking this was by the Serpentfolk, it is actually Azlanti writing.

Remember me to take Knowledge (Religion) Ranks...

Don't worry I got the knowledge covered.
"Amazing. This wasn't made by the serpent folk, but by Azlanti! "
What did it say though?

-Posted with Wayfinder

They seem to be giving praise to a god named Zura. (knowledge religion check). Tone of the praise is rather dark. The god does not likely have domain over rainbows and puppies.

Kn:religion : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Lalali seems to be an expert of obscure Azlanti gods....

-Posted with Wayfinder

Zura is a demon lord of cannibalism and vampires.

"So the script says praise Zura, a demon Lord of vampires and cannibalism. Doesn't sound very pleasant but send to fit the theme of this island. You want to go ahead? Certainly a nice trip into ancient history. "

The demon god of rainbow glittering vampires and cannibal puppies.

'Hhhhmmm I wonder' While Lalali and Janzadar attempt to read the writing on the door Ivar looks around the door, the entry and the threshold, looking to see if anyone had passed this way in the near past.

he will take 20(27) on perception and survival searching the immediate area for signs of someone passing this way or opening the doors

Given that a large magical effect just pushed away all the water that was here, any evidence was washed away.

Daring to say the gang presses into the cave or whatever it is after Ivar, Lalali casting light so everyone can see something.

You head down some stairs into the temple.

Over a dozen stone pillars support this cavernous chamber’s sixty-foot-high vaulted ceiling. To the north, four empty alcoves sit in the walls, their edges carved to resemble yawning, fanged mouths. To the south, a pair of bronze doors that seem to drip with blood sit under a stone bridge that passes through the upper portion of the room from east to west forty feet above. The walls are decorated with unsettling carvings of bats, human sacrifice, and the walking dead. The dismembered, skeletal bodies of three humans lie scattered on the floor of this chamber.

"I'm not sure if you are joking or not, Barty, every skellington I see seems smiling to me!" says the halfling focusing his sight on the skeletal bodies while purposefully ignoring the carvings. "So... any of you want to go first or should I keep being the self-sacrificing, courageous, first in line for a shanking?" but before anyone can answer the halfling approaches the doors and sees if he finds any trap.

Lalali, what did you cast light on? I was going to ask if someone could cast light on Ivar's axe so he could use it like a torch.

As Randy rushes past, Ivar moves down the stairway slowly, asking, "Do we want to search this room carefully or rush through the door?"

consider that done ivar.

"Yes, yes, please go ahead. "

Waiting on Jan for init. Those of you who beat the skellies (they had a 10, and beat Ivar) can go.

'Well, at least his behavior is consistent.' Ivar smiles, and then flinches a little, as he sees Randy run into combat and then take beating. Moving forward quickly Ivar rages and raising his glowing axe swings it at the first skeleton, "On your right, Randy. Keep that paring knife away from my fruits." Too concerned about keeping his own fruit safe, Ivar misses the skeleton.
