There were either 9, 24 or 31 knights of the round table originally (depending on who you read) (arthur made 10/25/32).
Sir Safar was a Saracen, brother of Sir Palamedes (their stories are very intermixed, apparently storytellers used to interchange them so it's hard to say which one did what. Some stories combine them into one person).

Jevon Ryker |

I've never heard of him either, but I'd guess he's a Moor. Or some other old-timey word for a north African muslim.
-----
Ah, wikipedia says he's a Saracen which by the 12th century was a catch all term for Arab muslims. It said his father was lord of Babylon which was in modern day Iraq.
Edit: Ninja Leon!

I think it fits my character being a thoughtful item crafter but I figured I'd ask first. I will figure stats for either answer. If not allowed I will just go vanilla.(only the tattoo sorc interests me from paizo but it doesn't fit this char)

The similarities between the Knights of the Round Table and the characters are very interesting indeed ! Thanks for pointing that out, Leon.
It gave me the idea of reading some Arthurian legends. I am aware that the Arthurian saga has continuously evolved since the 6th century A.D, so the question is : where to begin ?
I will let you know what choice I'll make :-).
As for Endrian resembling Galahad, I have always surmised that Galahad was the original model for all paladins hereafter - even if the word "paladin" comes (to my knowledge) from the Charlemagne tales, and meant originally "[knight] of the royal palace".
Incidentally, last summer I went for vacation in "la forêt de Paimpont", a patch of forest in Britanny (France) which is believed to have been the original forest of Broceliande depicted in the arthurian legends.
There definitely is something about this forest which sets it apart from the others.
That and colorful real-life characters come to the forest to tread in the paths of arthurian imagery :-) !

It looks fine, you may use it.

I must confess that the above conversation had me wondering what a Sorcerer with Bloodline: Vanilla would have looked like 8-D !
Ithriel, I enjoyed reading your dream very much : evocative and mysterious. Also, your leveling up was elegantly done, I think.
And it just occured to me that, over time, your use of a consistent elven vocabulary enhances much your character.
The only downside of your elven language consistency is that I dare not have Baster speak it anymore :-p !

Jevon Ryker |

Would you say he is amazing?
LMAO...oh man. I never go on Youtube anymore, I forgot that funny things exist. Hehehehe.

And... and... Skein is a mare ! SHE is not... endowed... like that stallion in this video of yours ;-) !

Sorry, I didn't feel the need to take a picture of us falling asleep listening to music while complaining about summer heat.

Startled awake from the shouts, Ithriel dons his armor, grabs his new staff and goes searching for the other seekers. He keeps his staff in a defensive position while he moves.
Combat Expertise: -1 to Attack & Combat Maneuvers , +1 Dodge to AC
*EDIT* Leon, ignore my question for now.
No worries, this actually works as a better segway into what I need.
As far as the re-write goes, I'll just say he got the gold and MW staff right after leaving Endrian's empty tent. He still had the dream, and Leon's banner planting just works so much better.

ROTFL.
My 5 years old boy just came to look at my computer's screen.
[translated from the french. Fortunately, he doesn't speak english yet, so he didn't ask about the "pinkie" verse]
Me: Hey, have you seen the funny violet pony ?
Him: It's not a pony, it's a little unicorn !
Kids, these days !

Baster of the Peacock |

Leon, you seem to have taken to calling poor Endrian "Endarian". That's a good running joke, but I'm not sure that's one you intend ;-).
For out of continuity discussions, I am partial myself to spoilers, like this one:
All in good fun, my commoner friend ;-) !

Can I claim dyslexia? I don't know how I made that mistake so consistently.
Silly fantasy games with their silly names.

Jevon Ryker |

Not trying to be a d*ck with the Shield thing Tim, I just think we should all operate on "If you see something, say something" principle when it comes to rules.
Ah how I wish shield weren't a personal spell...50 GP potions of shield would be even more amazing than that horse's lemonade.

Jevon Ryker |

Yes, but wands/scrolls are out of reach of Jevon. True Strike and Shield are the two spells I wish you could make/buy potions of.
Enlarge Person Potions are also super awesome. But we still don't have enough money to blow on that kind of stuff yet.

Baster of the Peacock |

Matt, I wanted to say I really appreciate your narrativist way of handling middle-scale battle.
Even the flurry of our actions and the uncertainty of our positioning reflects the chaos of battle well, in my opinion.
And I appreciate too the way you let your players handle a part of the narration: letting one's players have agile reins regarding the story is difficult for a surprisingly large numbers of Dungeon Masters.

Baster of the Peacock |

A Wondrous Item that casts True Strike 3x per day would cost what? 2000 gp?
For my part, I must confess that I know yet very little about the Pathfinder (and D&D 3.5) magic items.
As a player, I refrained myself to look up the magic items section of the rulebooks, so as to retain a sense of surprise and wonder regarding said magical items during play.
But if I want to referee Pathfinder, I'll have to dig into it !

Baster of the Peacock |

Not trying to be a d*ck with the Shield thing Tim, I just think we should all operate on "If you see something, say something" principle when it comes to rules.
As I have already wrote sooner, I wholeheartedly agree with that principle. It's a great way to learn about the game mechanics (not to mention game balance).
In fact, I demand that it be applied to myself, should I sin against The Rules ;-) !

Baster of the Peacock |

Leon, the rallying around the Lion's banner idea was INSPIRED !
That is good roleplay to me: a player making a story-inducing proposition to other players ; RPGs are nothing if not cooperative interactive games.
And Aldus, I really liked your portrayal of your character sleeping with berries in his head.
It was very reminiscent of Myrdinn (the proto-Merlin) to me.

Tim Deamon |

per day magic items for first lvl
1/pd 400g
2/pd 800g
3/pd 1200g
4/pd 1600g
5/pd 2000g
This is what my character does later in levels btw.
Some though will be potion-like items, single use-use activated.
They will be leather bracelets that activate upon the wearer when broken, or something similar.

Aldus Cottontail |

Yeah, nice one dude.
I second Leon's approval!
Aldus, I love you, you freaky freakchild. Every time I read that description it gets more amazing.
=)
For those rolling saves for silent image, keep in mind that there is no save unless you actually interact with the illusion, it just is.

Leylyn Rhydoc |

Love it Aldus, Love it!

As for the magic item creation, the prices are guide lines. Some items, such as Glasses of Truestrike Don't exist for a reason. A five times a day true strike that anyone can use is waywayway over powered. There is a reason that truestrike spell is only on the wizards spell list.
