The heroes head West along Old Highway 169. Roland knows this as the A loop, the loop that starts at Wright Town goes north to trade with the Tribals, then West to Rapid Town, and finally East to Wright Town again.
Soon the party comes upon a Farmstead. Roland, from his time on the A Loop, knows that the Farmstead is occupied as caravans often stop here for the night.
As the night approaches, no lights shine in the windows and no one moves on the farmstead.

Roland of Wright Town |

"I don't like that there's no activity down there. Should be somebody bringin' in the last day's load or cookin' some dinner in there. Quiet and slow from here. Raiders might've got 'em."
Roland moves in, alert for danger and rifle at the ready.

Jack got into leather armor before the wagons got moving.
"Don't like the looks o' this," said Ian.
"Nope. Raiders' a'comin' form this way, an' a place supposed to be occupied ain't occupied. Not a good sign," said Jack
"Prob'ly gonna be shootin'."
"Yup. Get yer game face on."
Jack hefts his shield and pulls his pistol. Ian, sensing close-quarters combat coming up, hefts his axe. The pair follow the Wright in, figuring if there -is- any friendly faces about, he'll know them first, and might avoid any combat by misunderstandin'.

Two-Headed-Vulture |

"You make too much noise. If there are raiders, they have cover, and will see you coming like that, Roland. Sneak around the side...like this."
Vulture sweeps around the side to check it out, guns in hand, because f*** friendly introductions. That's the others' jobs.

Roland, Jack and Ian move towards the Farmstead while Vulture and Brand circle around.
Brand hears shuffling inside the Farmstead from a nearby open window, the unmistakable chittering sound of radroaches.
Roland nears the front door, which is shoved open, but the lack of light inside makes it night impossible to get a good look inside.

Ian and Jack have no clue what the hell the others are doing, but, seeing that Roland has holstered his gun and drawn his blade, Ian throws some signal at Jack. Jack nods, and Ian take the lead, axe raised, a step behind the Wright.

I can see, but can't edit, the map with my phone. I would appreciate if someone moved me to the square to the right of the red roach.
Vulture moves in next to his brother and slashes at the two roaches before him with his machetes.
The plan is kill yellow with one hand, move and take his spot and kill pink with the other hand...should have just enough pace for that. Wild attack and gang up both of them.
Vs Yellow: 1d4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 2 = 5
Wild: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 = 8 (should be a raise)

Pretty sure without acing he's dead, Jim.
Vulture hops in, hacks through one roach, steps up, and stabs the living crap out of another with his other hand. I love two fisted and ambidextrous!

Vulture also ignored the darkness and size penalties. Which are a total -3 actually...I looked up the stats again, they are Size-2.

Daaaaammmmnnn. Radroaches is tough! I admit, I thought we were gonna curbstompy them when Vulture hate-murdered two in one round. Now I think that...
"Well this is going poorly," Jack said, seeing the best trbial warrior taken down on a massive roach onslaught.
Realising that the small, quick insects were going to be tough to hit, Jack forces down the bile rising in his gillet and takes some time lining up his next shot.
Ian, however, glimpses the powerful tribal taken down in an instant by a death-wave of roaches, and, seeing that his escape is cut off, starts screaming something akin to "OHMYGODWEREGONNADIEWEREGONNADIEIDONTWANNADIEIDDONTWANNADIEIDONTWANNADIEIMT OOYOUNGTODIEIIMMEDIATELYREGRETMYDECISION!!!!!!" He put his back to the wall and does his best to survive long enough for someone else to save him.
Jack Aim action, Ian Full defense. Sry, but at -3 my small dice are gonna need some help. Hopefully Ian can shield Roland long enough for him to secure the right flank....

"VULTURE!" Regardless of whether or not his brother actually falls, Brand rushes forward, regardless of his own safety, to aid his brother, beginning with another swing of his axe...

Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (6, 6) + 2 = 14
...and after that slash crunches through the roach's shell, he aims a furious kick at another within reach.

Wild Die: 1d6 + 2 - 2 - 3 ⇒ (6) + 2 - 2 - 3 = 3 Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Although his booted foot connects, it isn't able to damage the roach, and he only continues to roar angrily.
Don't know if the Wild Attack penalty to Parry stacks with itself, but if so that may bring me down to a Parry of 3.

Vulture coughs and spits out blood, barely standing after the swarm charges him, dizzy.
"Yeah, so THAT hurt a lot! This is why I use guns!!

Good enough!
The heroes manage to stomp, cut and burn the radroaches into oblivion. Vulture looks worse for the wear...man he could use a doctor.
A search of the house reveals bloodstains covering the floors in a couple rooms. There is also a corpse, which the radroaches were feasting on, it looks as though the man was slain with a swift machete blow to the skull.
Roland knows that there were some near a dozen members of this extended family, so the one corpse doesn't account for them all.
If you decide to ransack the home, you find about 40 caps worth of supplies.
There is also a barn on the premises.
