@ Vulf: Zelaria's master is a man named Zurisatro. So far as I know, it is not particularly important. But, again, as a sorc, wielding innate powers I would assume a master would teach a young peer not to stress themselves by drinking and what not. Only reason she hasn't said anything about him is because it is not really pertinent.
@ Florin: Zelaria has a very different standard for what she considers a man, actually. Right now she's projecting her father type figure onto Vulf, likely mistakenly, plus getting caught up in his story about being without a clan, etc. It is highly likely that should the paladin express any interest, things might change. What girl wouldn't want a paladin? :P

Aye, an unnatural presence of menace pervades, 'tis true. I do believe that most folks participating are on the rebel scum side of the pond, which may be confounding your expression of Florin.
Indeed, many of us uncivilized yanks are working for our living. Be off in 3 hours or so lol.

Markellus Severian |

Quite so. forgive my impatiance for I am home alone tonight, my significant other is away with her parents and I dare not leave the house lest it be burnt down by crazed adolesents. It comes of having a non-elected supreem ruler.
You know, I'd find this much more amusing if not for the fact that I don't think you're joking... crazy stuff over there right now.

Zelaria Quiatris |

Aye. Having lived in Europe in a while, I can tell you that democracy works a lot differently there than we tend to think of it as Americans. It's a mockery of even our system in terms of fairness, they just have a lot less people to get angry about it when the system fails...
Norway had Anders Behring Breivik, though. Idiot. Did the exact wrong thing to get his point across and ensured the Labour party bringing the country into ruin for the next 100 years, I am sure.

Zelaria Quiatris |

Not so much international politics as an unfair system of representation termed proportional, usually found in confederate models of government in Europe...
Wow, that is the first meaningful sentence I have typed since I obtained my degree in political science almost 18 months ago, and it has no relation to anything in this thread. Kudos to me, I suppose.
Anyway, to make a long story short, voters go out, vote for a party. Depending on the percentage of votes that party gets, the party gets to put its people into positions of government, not the people. And if those parties form coalitions, it means that people who vote for the less favored parties, like Norway's Progress Party (opposed to the current ruling Labour party) get less seats, and less representation in government as a whole. So, even though 30% of the people vote for Progress, and maybe 25% vote for Labour, Labour + Christian Democrats + Farming party + various other liberal parties equal over 60% of the government, and therefore get to elect the Prime Minister and essentially dictate policy and priorities. Therefore, even though almost half the country wants immigration reform and better hospitals and welfare response, the 60% who favor little bitty liberal parties get to have farming subsidies, send money to foreign countries, and encourage refugees to flood Norway while old people are treated badly in State Homes and Hospitals cannot afford to take care of patients and half the nation does its food shopping in Sweden because it is too expensive to buy food in their own country.
Edit Holy poo, Florin, I loled uncontrollably. Knight of Flowers, hmm? I will pine away for lack of love, I am sure.

Rohan Drake |

So, we have the Barbarian, Hat Man, Flower Knight, Zelaria, Copperscale and Copperscale's companion, eh?
That and the previously mentioned Dwarven cleric, and you got it. Though I have a name, you know.

Zelaria Quiatris |

*pats florin's back*
It's okay, hon. at level 4, I'll be mechanically hotter than you, anyway. You'll be so far beneath me, I'll have to buy a microscope.
*giggles*
I honestly don't know what was so special about the Knight of Flowers, anyway. Only Sansa seemed to think he was cool, and she has a head full of gruel, and no one respects her opinion.

Markellus Severian |

Well, I think that it was pretty much just the fact that he was so pretty. That, and he out-tourneyed the Mountain, iirc. I guess he was there to be the public face of House Tyrell and to keep Renly company.
On the upside, Sansa might be finally learning things now that she's where she is (trying not to spoil things, at least not too much). Still need to finish Dance with Dragons, though.

Rohan Drake |

The cleric was Copperscale's companion, lowly mortal!
...Clearly, I need more coffee before I keep posting. I think that I just figured "hey, 6 party members, 6 descriptions, we're good to go."
Ouch. I consider myself burned. As far as Game of thrones is concerned, I am one of those heathens who hasnt read the books and only watched the show. But when I saw the knight of flowers, I called his "alternate preferences" right away.

Markellus Severian |

Don't consider it a burn, consider it another step in the glorious Scaled One's ascent to blessed divinity, with you, his loyal servant, at his side. That, or I'm thinking of Copperscale as too similar to a cat.
Also, don't feel bad about "just" watching the show--it was excellent, much better than most book adaptations are. Then again, Legend of the Seeker might have lowered my expectations.

Ryuko |

Ugh... Legend of The Seeker... why would you remind me of that?
And the people who statted him statted the whole game so... and again IIRC, he was something like level 12 so...
I always thought he was cool. Clever way to beat the Mountain, cape made of flowers... good stuff.

Rohan Drake |

The movie "How to Train Your dragon" taught me that dragons are just big cats, so you're not off at all.
Well, the people I've met who read the series tend to give me flak for it. And I liked Legend of the Seeker. I was sad it was cancelled after the first season.

Zelaria Quiatris |

Meh, they're just being silly elitists. I mean, I've read those books, and I've read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, but LOATHE True Blood with all the passion that housewives are supposed to harbor towards vermin appearing in their homes.
Wow, why all the Tyrell love. Do all men hate Tyrion, or something?

Rohan Drake |

@)Ryuko - I agree with you. Same way I felt about the transformers movies. As a fan, I hate Michael Bay. But as a moviegoer, they were entertaining which is enough.
@)Zelaria - No not at all. Tyrion is possibly my favorite character.

Ryuko |

I said I liked him, he's certainly not my favorite. That honor would go to either Jon for being an awesome hero in a gritty world, Arya for basically just finding a way to survive some of the worst situations ever, or good old Ned for never varying in his LG ways... poor Ned. I love Tyrion too.
My character for the game was a giant of an Umber man. You basically had to tear me to pieces to send me into shock. (Shock was a major game mechanic and usually the decider of battles)
