"Wait why is the Troll coming back to life but Chirugeon Ball is staying dead"
Lax will ask the crew if any of the dead crew members are coming back to life or if any weirde stuff is happening.
Inquiry at 45+10=55
At 55: 1d100 ⇒ 76
Kevin O'Rourke 440
After asking around Lax discover Chirugeon Ball like almost everyone else was animated again by some sorcery or other... everyone but those who have undergone huge amounts of bodily damage have come back to as undead. You've seen this yourself as early as on the bridge.
The mutant being called a 'Troll' came back much like members of the crew, a Vattergrin as Illorn calls them possibly? Those repelled it said it arrived to the fight injured and there were no signs of it healing it's injuries like ye saw.

Indeed Garms equipment remains intact. Roughly half his slaves are dead.
The bombardment cannons are beyond repair, to add insult to injury the 'Vattergrin' have over run this place. More ammo than expected are needed to pacify the area. One more ammo than normal used to pacify.

Illorn Pendragon
Illorn is once again hosing off his armor in a cargo bay, long-johns somehow even more ragged and sweat-stained with Philips nearby and lamenting over his hard worn gear in a parallel to the scene that played out before the ship crash landed. "'tis time, I think, that we venture forth from this crippled ship and secure yon island" Illorn says aloud, as much to himself as Phillips. He reaches up and activates his micro-bead , pinging the rest of the command crew. "Even yon greatest brothel grows weary and the wick limp, and this hunk of metal and rust be not alluring as half! I aim to explore yon island if any wish to come with."
NPC Action: Gather Ammo
NPC Action: Gather Food
Illorn Action: ADVENTURE!
Garm Dariyal
Garm has spent some time ensuring that the command crew quarters resemble some form of normalcy.
And he's ready for something else.
"Illorn, you speak sense. We have spent too long cooped up in here, having to whip and slay our own back into line, putting down the dead. I would see this world. We may be on it for a while."
He gathers some gear and flings it into the shuttle, but is himself wearing his leathers, his whips, and his original two bolt pistols.
17-234-5 "P0D"
"I still have my own command to piece back together, even with Jones' brilliant performance I can't leave yet. With the crew still on edge and supplies low I need to make sure those elements we dealt with don't regrow. Don't lose or damage that shuttle, so far it's our only one functional."
Lax Stoneborn
"I'll go as well. I did promise to do more forward reconnaissance with you, though I'm beginning to regret that statement"
Lax will put his gear in the shuttle but he'll oly carry his grenades, needle rifle, inferno pistol and his las pistol
Kevin O'Rourke 440
Presumably you are taking the functional shuttle. What kind of approach are ye taking, just doing flyovers til you spot something initially, barely get to the coast and disembark? Rigidly sticking to flyovers and not landing? Are you bringing any crew?
P0D everyones job is kind of f@~%ed and wont be unf~!%ed for months at the soonest... seriously reconsider not getting on that shuttle.
Kevin O'Rourke 440
As the shuttle is made ready and you board it leaving P0D behind it is hard to wonder what waits before ye you can hear a pattering on the hull. As the shuttle moves outside the cause becomes clear, it's raining.
A great gouge lies on the island nearby where your ship powered across it. The land beneath ye is green with many trees as well as rolling hills but ye can see shapes, perhaps long overgrown structures. A few groupings that could be structures or monuments of some kind stick out to ye.
You notice a small naval ship skirting the coast on a coarse that is moving slowly towards your own crashed ship. It isn't large enough to have a crew in large enough numbers to be a threat. It appears to be powered by wind due to it's sails.
Garm Dariyal
Awareness 8: 1d100 ⇒ 75
Garm exclaims at the sound, a little cheer in his voice.
"Rain! A real world at least!"
"Let us see what lies in these ruins."
He ponders for a moment, to see if they remind him of the works of the Druchii.
Forbidden Lore (Xenos - Eldar) 36: 1d100 ⇒ 5
Illorn Pendragon
Illorn had set about immediatley getting the shuttle prepped for launch, which of course meant rolling Aviary out of bed and unplugging Phillips from his charging socket and putting them to work getting it ready.
Jumping forward to the flyover, he has his power armor loaded onto the shuttle (along with Phillips and his golem) but is currently wearing his standard armor, now with accompying jump pack. On his hips are his faithful flail and fast becoming favourite thunder hammer, whilst across his shield. His sniper rifle is currently in his arms as he peers out the shuttle windows.
Awareness 23: 1d100 ⇒ 64
Kevin O'Rourke 440
As the shuttle lands the torrential rain continues. The vegetation is somewhat patchy and sparse at points. Few bird or animal calls can be heard.
Large stones are placed upon each other with carvings placed on them. Largely they are simple shapes and symbols. Ye can see what appears to be a doorway nearby leading into a half buried building. There are no lights illuminating the interior.
Garm Dariyal
Garm steps out into the rain. It had been a long time indeed since he had felt rain, real rain. It would have been in his youth, shortly before the Druchii had seized him.
He smiled and walked boldly towards the doorway, groxwhip in hand and agoniser at his side.
Lax Stoneborn
"First Zombies, then a crashed ship and now bloody rain. Why couldn't we have landed on a nice planet or just one with people"
Lax mutters to himself pulling up the cowl of his synthskin as he follows Garm into the ruins.
He will be holding his needle rifle firmly in both hands.
Fobidden lore archtech at 40 to see if he recognises the ruins or markings.
FL(Archtech) at 40: 1d100 ⇒ 15
Illorn Pendragon
Illorn will hold out his hand to catch some of the water, sniffing it when he has gathered enough. He'll root around in the shuttle until he finds a discarded food ration can and sets it on a nearby rock to catch some rain whilst they explore. He'll then com Aviary in the shuttle "Keep'eth our long-star well secured. Shouldst thou be attacked use thine farcaster to let us know and do what thou needs in the meantime to keep thineself and the vessel safe." He'll then retrieve his sniper rifle from his golem and signal Phillips to follow, as the golem follows along behind with the rest of Illorns equipment.
Kevin O'Rourke 440
This is far too crude to have been constructed with anything even close to average Imperial Technology.
Garm moving forwards sees primitive stone carvings on the walls of shapes and humanoid figures hunting. After a short distance the upper half of the corridor is mostly barred, to progress forward a man would have to go on his hands and feet.
Lax Stoneborn
"This is pointless. If we're to ever leave this planet we need powerful archtech and this is barely tech at all. Let's explore here only a little more and then go and find whatever passes for civilisation on this planet"
Kevin O'Rourke 440
A few cobwebs and signs of the passing of small creatures are about the area. Inside it is plain to see the center of attention to which Garm kneels as he enters is a stone sarcophagus of some kind with a crude effigy of an armoured warrior with primitive weapons. The figure does seem roughly human in it's features.
Garm can not stand fully in here the roof too small, it seems all who enter here would have to bow and stoop as they went about the area.
Kevin O'Rourke 440
Garm removes the gems, equipment and other valuables to make the journey worthy while they are there.
Outside an unexpected gust of breeze sends Illorn's wrapper gathering the rain water flying off into the wind.
Coming through the entrance of the tomb to Garm it has an almost howling quality.
Kevin O'Rourke 440
"Sir. The only auspex we've got is what I heard a Tech Priest call the Mark I eyeball. It's obvious there have been some kind of creatures here but I can't say when. First Officer Garm said to find a clear spot to land. Flying about as you said might get us broader but less detailed assessment. Sir."
Kevin O'Rourke 440
Flying around for a few hours you see plenty of signs of monuments and tombs of a crude nature similar to the ones you've seen before. Even the remains of primitive settlements but they are clearly unoccupied, clearly this is a place of the dead.
You spot a larger island to the northwest.
Illorn Pendragon
While Garm was hauling in the loot, Illorn set about gathering some more water in an empty canteen. Stowing it away in the shuttle he nods in affirmation to Garms suggestion and settles down. As he does so he looks over the Garm and says "Thine words remind me, Garm. I hadst forgotten in the midst of the skirmish to secure the star vessel. A company should naught be without a Captain 'ere long. Who doth thou think'est should take on yon role?"
Garm Dariyal
Garm looks thoughtful, more so than you usually see him, and is quiet for a time.
"If I speak true, I would see you as captain, Illorn. You have good instincts and quick judgement, and have lead men."
Illorn Pendragon
For the first time since you met him, Illorn looks genuinely gobsmacked. Afer a second he starts laughing uproariously, bent double with hands on knees. It goes on for a while. When he finally recovers, wiping tears from his eyes, he looks up at Garm and chokes out "Thou must hath taken one too many blows to the head lad! Mineself, Captain?! I think'est I doth heard mine Jagdhund spinning in his kurgan!" He straightens up with a sigh and continues "The most leading I hath done is on yon battlefield. When the nobles cox-combs shat thine breeches and fled, or yon hundepackung leaders were felled by magicks or arrows, I drove yon hunds on with mine actions in doth vanguard." He looks curiously at Garm "I hath assumed thou wouldst put thineself forward lad. Any reason why thou dost not?"
Lax Stoneborn
"Perhaps a third option might be best. I've heard nothing but good things about Jones. Having someone that you can trust lead the ship would leave the council free to partake in more excursions like this while still leaving the crew with solid leadership"
