Lax will walk up to Illorn and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Illorn he is simply a misguided sould lost in the dark, who was but following the chain of command. If censure is needed let it fall on those who sent him after us"
Lax will turn to the man
"We are on a quest to retrieve parts that will end these dark days. Reswear your oaths and joins us in driving back this darkness"

"Cowardice brings its own twisted form of loyalty but it the least trustworthy and useful. Any other time I wouldn't entertain this mans survival, I would have put him against a strong bulkhead and sent him on his way with a shot to the head but we need directions so for now if he can guide us he lives. If he fails he dies"
Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest
Garm grunts and finally looks in directions other than straight at the man.
"Fine. If he leads us wrong, he dies screaming."
Male Human Level 3 Investigator
The man looks like he's about to say something but holds his tongue looking deeply anxious but doesn't raise any objection no matter how miserable he seems.

"Speak, boy." Illorn rumbles, dropping him to the floor. "I couldst use'eth a chuckle."
Illorn does indeed look like he could use a chuckle.
Male Human Level 3 Investigator
The man looks conflicted and very afraid but more afraid of Illorn than anyone else so speaks "Well since the ship got all chewed up and twisted I haven't been this way and you're going to kill me if I can't lead ye the right way..." He starts crying, no blubbering "Please don't kill me, I barely ever went this way before." There's mucous rolling down his upper lip as it quivers.
Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest
Garm looks thoroughly disgusted at this display of weakness.
"He is barely worth even killing. It is a worse punishment to let him live."
Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5
Illorn snorts and rolls his eyes, not quite repressing an actual chuckle. He then reaches down and, clasping a hand to each of the boys arms, picks him up bodily from the floor, turns him around and gives him a gentle boot to the backside to get him to the front of the group "Lie to us naught, guide us as best ye can, and thou shalt hath naught to fear." he says "Tell us when we doth encounter a diversion to yon normal route."
Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin
"Don't worry. All we have to do is go get a crate and when we get back everyone will know you as the man who saved the ship" Lax says to the man, patting him on the back.
"By the way what's your name?"
Male Human Level 3 Investigator
"Bob sir." He doesn't take you the route ye'd expect immediately and identifies that to ye speaking of a corridor collapsing. It becomes very apparent after about an hour he's run out of up to date information.
Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest
Garm sharply says:
"I say we leave him behind."
And continues moving forward.
Garm does not bother to elaborate on whether he means alive or dead.
Wounds 10/10 Fatigue 0 Fate 1/3 Psy Rating 2
"No, he keeps going and earns his chance at redemption. The second he acted in his own interest and not the ships he failed in his duties and forswore his oath. He can stay in front and keep his eyes peeled or accept his fate. One choice could lead to life and a new purpose, the other is much more final and guaranteed." P0D prods Bob forward with the end of his laspistol. "Choose, crewman."
Male Human Level 3 Investigator
"You-uh-going with you and duty. Yes." He nods with feigned enthusiasm.
As you progress forward the next day with your lacky in tow he doesn't slow ye down but he's not speeding ye up. If it wasn't for Garms less hasty pace he surely would be slowing ye down. The gantry ye have to cross is suspended over an area that is flooded with a liquid. The substance is only a mere foot beneath the gantry bridge.
Your Bob begins walking across with his eyes darting to the shadows, from the water a huge mottled green skinned arm grabs Bob and drags him beneath the surface though the liquid darkens going a red where the arm pulled him down. The arm was as thick as Illorn's chest, as long as two crewmen in length. The fingers, of which there were three and a thumb were as big as a grown mas arm.
The liquid substance is too murky to spot it but no doubt it would move to get another meal if you went across, do ye wish to fight this thing or find another route?
Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest
Garm snorts in amusement as Bob is dragged to his doom.
He then smoothly draws his golden bolt pistol and carefully aims at where he thinks the beast is.
Garm draws and does a full round aim.

He looks back to his compatriots and says "Ready thine weapons to fire whence it attempts to attack me." Illorn will wait until all have readied their weapons and give the go ahead. Once they have all signaled, or unless someone suggests something better, he will move across with a guarded action, ready to strike anything that appears.
